Easy stuff, right?
I'm so in love with this line.
If I'm covering a chipboard album... the creative station is my favorite way to go.
This machine assures that every single inch of my paper is sticky and nothing is going to lift.
If I'm going to be away at a crop... the
Cheetah Runner is the way I like to go.
It's more portable and takes up less space.
It also covers the entire area so we have no lifting.
WARNING: You'll have to forgive my photography and basic skills...
Here is the cover of my album. (This album has every other page as acrylic then chipboard)
Acrylic is hard to photograph. (But that kid is still so dang handsome!)
This is my youngest sons senior photo shoot in this album.
The cover is acrylic... so you can see through to the next page.
Can you see the difference of the right side page above and below????
I did a fun little pop up with the camera. You pull on the tab that says 'CLICK' and the camera pops up. Below are a couple of close ups.
I used the
Xyron mounting tape when making this pop up, it's a double sided tape and tends to hold the interactive pop up together well.
This is one of my favorite pages. The right side is acrylic. I used the
Mamarazzi² paper called focus and cut out the fun poloroid frames. I Xacto'd out the centers... then used my album packaging and put a clear film between my photo and the frame and then backed the entire thing on chipboard...
This made it actually feel like a real poloroid. (that's hard to explain)
The left side here is the back side of the acrylic page from before. I strategically placed photos and stickers from the Mamarazzi² Combo to cover the Polaroids from the other side. Bwah ha ha ha
(I love strategy)
These pages were super fun too. I used a fun technique I learned from
Robbie Herring (on our own BoBunny design team) for the banner that's across the pocket on the left side page.
I used my
Xyron Glue Stick (with the 'wedge') Have you guys used it yet??? Pretty dang cool.
Anywho... when you use a glue stick, it stiffens as it drys and holds the shape.
See how the fun corners of my pennants curve out below????
That's because I used my glue stick. LOVE THIS TECHNIQUE!! (Thanks Robbie)
p.s. I'm going to journal on the tags in this pocket... advice for my graduating son....
but I need to do that at home where everyone in the office won't see my emotions. (hee hee)
I'm also going to add a tiny little picture of him as a boy in my tiny poloroid hanging from my banner.
And here is my last page of my handsome son who I love and adore and can't believe he's graduating and leaving me for his dumb future. Future smoocher!!!...
Below, some of the other
Xyron products I used throughout my album. The Mega runner is what I used when adhering my photos to mats.
The create-a-sticker is fun for smaller pieces that are not already a sticker,
and is that lil lime green 1" create-a-sticker about the cutest thing you've ever seen????
I just keep it in my purse, cuz it's cute and kids think I'm amazing when I pull it out and
make whatever lil do-dad thing they have into a sticker! That's how I roll girls!
Okay.... if you've made it this far, you're in luck.
