Somewhere in Time Layouts

Well, it's a rainy and gloomy day here at BoBunny headquarters...we won't let that get us down! Today we have some beautiful Somewhere In Time layout inspiration for any others who may find themselves scrapping this weekend.

Boy by Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell)

I've made this LO for my friend with the her son's photo. I think the collection "Somewhere In Time" has very diverse opportunities for its application. I think all styles and all areas will look good with its use. But I chose minimalism. It seems to me that LO is a bit mysterious feelings.

Quite a few items, even less colors ... but LO completely finished!

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Evening Mist, Keepsake/Somewhere In Time
Jewels: Licorice
Stamp: Stitches

Steampunk by Lisa Novogrodski

Don't you all just adore the gorgeous "Somewhere In Time" collection! I love how all the designers have used it to suit their styles! Here you will find me showing off a gorgeous steampunk photo I got from Deviant Art. You can find the artists link on my blog. This photo is just perfection for these papers.

I used lots of gears cut from the Double Dot papers on my Cameo and added them in. The background is layered with mists, inking and lots of stamping! I especially LOVE the New Stitch Stamps! So fun!

I used the Kraft Wooden Butterflies, another favorite product of mine, and painted it then covered it in crackle medium.

I mixed in a ton of layers. I love to fussy cut and pick bits from the papers and tuck them in. I also like to use things in a different way so instead of using the balloons as balloons I just cut them up and tucked them in!

All Woman by Denise van Deventer

I created a double pager for this assignment and chose to create a page about this Hollywood icon - Marilyn Monroe. While researching some information about her for another assignment, I found these beautiful photo's of her and just loved them.  She was not a size 8 and had beautiful curves, definitely "All Woman" and she was not afraid to show her curves! So this page is about celebrating being a woman and loving who you are, whether you are a size 8 or not!!

I did a mixed media background with a stencil, gesso and paints and then added lots of stamping, fussy cut elements and some wood gears.

This collection really lends itself towards vintage, with it's earthy colours. The beautiful patterned papers also allow for lots of fussy cutting, so one does not need to use so many embelishments.

I found quite a number of Marilyn Monroe quotes that were absolutely fabulous and I used one here, which I really loved - "I don't mind living in a man's world as long as I can be a woman in it".  My journaling says: I love that she was a full figured woman and was so very beautiful.  I love that she was all woman!"

I have been the biggest BoBunny stamp fan for ever and this is most certainly the case here too.  The stamps are so versatile and gorgeous and I just love the interest that they add!
