Butterfly Kisses Layout!

I am - as many of you - in love with fabulous collection called Butterfly Kisses.

For today I created new page with it using another set of  papers.

I started by selecting different elements like chipboards, Noteworthy, washi tapes, decoupauge paper and doillies.

With high temperatures we have now I avoided using heat gun and focues on ....scissors.

It's so great BoBunny has such a choice when we want to focus on specific color.

I think all the butterflies and bees match my photo very well. I wanted my page scream "Summer"!

I had this cute Washi tape for some time already but I thought it's will look perfect with Butterly Kisses collection.

Layered chipboard and Noteworthy from every collection are high on my wish list, you can just keep adding details to your projects in no time.

Sunday Fun-day Party!

With warmer and warmer Summer days there is a big need for drinking stations in the garden,

Why to wait for weekend or party if we can set up little table with drinks and healthy snack for everyday use.

My kids love Mohito /virgin version of course! We have plenty of mint in our garden so with a little help from BoBunny I created fun and festive decoration for this week. And best of all there is still time to order Firecracker collection to make lovely decorations for any party with family and friends.

My wooden box was decorated with mini banner.

Every glass got decoration from Firecracker papers, I love to use this die !

Even water bottles got special labels!

Mixed Media Canvas Tutorial!

"Something old, something new, something blue" Mixed Media canvas with tutorial by Agnieszka Bellaidea.

If you still a little shy to try new BoBunny mixed media products maybe you can use this simple tutorial as a guide. I will also help you by adding links to all products I used for my project.

Let's start from Gesso and Crackle paste.

Paint your new - or old - canvas with gesso, If you use an older one please allow to dry while painting 2-3 times.

Then apply a nice amount of Crackle Paste Primer. Let it dry. The more you apply the longer time it takes to dry. With nice weather outside or in warm place process of drying it's faster.

White Crackle Paste wad added on the very same spots where the primer was applied. Just one smooth move and lot's of patience. Now you should wait at least 1 hr, well, you can work on another 12x12 page with lovely Butterfly Kisses or ... do your ironing, just kidding! Who would choose to iron instead of playing with BoBunny papers?

While your 12x12 page is waiting to be photographed your crackles are ready and you can use now Glitter Paste to rub it in the crackle with brush, sponge or just a finger.

I used Lemonade and Frost. Did you know there are another 18 colors to choose from? Fabulous!

Time for some Glimmer Spray, I chose Frost.

Spray a little or a lot, just try out what you like , if there is too much color you can always cover it with gesso.

I always like to work with Stencils, I wonder which one will you like the best?

For your design with stencils you can use gesso or modeling paste.

When everything is dry you can start adding other elements like washi tape, bling, jewels, lace,  flowers or chipboard.

June Sketch Challenge!

This month I had the pleasure to work with BoBunny's sketch and you can join me too!

I wonder, which collection will you use?

I chose Butterfly Kisses / what a surprise since I love this one! / and different stencils, stamps , pearlescents, washi tape and chipboard.

I don't know how strict you are when it comes to sketches but I follow the general rules with a little twist.

When my basic elements are ready I keep adding little pieces here and there.

Some elements are from Noteworthy but other are fussy cut from papers. Little "kisses" sign came from a strip of paper with a name of the collection.

Dies are great for adding something interesting to scrapbook pages and cards,  I decorated the Washi tape with jewels.

Stamped roses are painted with Glitter Paste.

Cute dots were made with Pearlescents in different colors.

I really like to decorate chipboards but every now and again I like the naked look of them.

1 Layout 3 Ways With Butterfly Kisses!

Today it's my turn to show you 1 layout 3 ways. I did it before and looks to me I just take 3 steps  in this process and still have desire to work some more.

Well, let's see all the changes together.

I was able to work with Butterfly Kisses collection, I admire it!

Above 1st version of my page. Simple but you can already see some work with gesso and stencil, elements from noteworthy, foils in Copper.

Version 2 - I added elements from die, washi tape, stitching.

By the time I finished version nr 3 I had a chance to work with another die, jewels, stamps, ink, glitter.

 After taking these photos I took my 12x12 page back to my studio and ...you are welcome to visit my blog to check version #4!

Firecracker Misc Me!

"Here's to all the places we went" Misc Me album by Agnieszka Bellaidea

I noticed a long time ago my style differs depending on the project. With Misc Me creating it's so easy you just go through pages like with scrapbook pages years ago.

Do you remember times when people created several 12x12 pages in 1 hr?

I like fussy cutting, mixed media touch , stitching and adding all the lovely stuff from BoBunny collections but...

Yes, I have to admit simple style it's still on and if you want to use all these photos you take during trips and family gatherings Misc Me pages are great solution.

A couple of years ago when teaching in my LSS I noticed older ladies getting happy   with "small stuff" they never had when they started adventure with scrapbooking. I was told in "old days" there was so much cutting, messuring, folding and now it's so easy just slide ready elements in transparent pockets.

I have a little trick to tell you. Misc Me pockets are big enough to hold more photos so you can use them not only for one or two . I kept several photos from the same trip under the one you can see on my photo.

Of course if you want there is no need to use glue or even cut papers but still, I like to add little texture.

Another trick to using many photos with one collection is to develop them in black and white or sepia, this way everything will match and you can  use one collection in each album you create.

How do I know you will have more than one? Because Misc Me is addictive !
