Papercrafting With Firecracker!

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing a fun layout using the new Firecracker Collection and the Pocket Squares! Such a fun layout to do!

Celebrate with Lynn Shokoples
Celebrate Layout by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny featuring the Firecracker Collection.

I love all the holiday collections from BoBunny but the Red, White & Blues are some of my favourites! Why you ask? Well, I am one of the lucky Canadians that has a son born on the 4th of July, so I'm always looking for something to scrapbook his birthday photos with!

For this layout I used the different size Pocket Squares. I usually pick the plain backgrounds to scrap with, but wanted to challenge myself so I picked the circles. I backed all the cards with licorice cardstock to make them pop off the page. There were so many layers I lost count! Some Noteworthy pieces and Alphabet Stickers and the page was done! Fast and Fun!

Thanks so much for joining me today! Have a Scrapfabulous Day!

Firecracker & Misc Me!

In May I went to New York City with my mother and we really had the time of our lives. I figured this special trip deserved to get a few pages in my Misc Me album, so I scrapped some of my favourite photos with the wonderful Firecrackers collection.

Misc Me pages by Romy Veul

I used the Firecracker Journal Contents to fill the largest pocket of the sleeve and also used a Journal Card to mat my photo on the right page.

I just love the tiniest Journaling Cards from the Firecrackers collection and I filled the smallest pockets with these cards. I added chipboard pieces to some of the journaling cards.

I added some journaling on the right page to document my special memories of this mother-daughter trip. I also framed the Brooklyn Bridge on the photo with a die-cut from the Noteworthy package to turn it into a real eye-catcher.

My second spread features a photo of the overview that we had over the city from the top of the Empire State Building. The photo on the right side is probably a familiar one. It's the Statue of Liberty.

On the left side of my second spread I created a nice design by using several Journal Cards in different sizes.

I also decorated this page with a few Layered Chipboard embellishments. I thought they matched the photos of our trip to the capitcal city of the USA really well.

The second page of this spread was also made with one of the page protectors and lots of Pocket Squares. I love the fact that these Pocket Square cards are double-sided, because you only have to use one journaling card to achieve a nice design on both the front and the backside.

1 Layout 3 Ways with Take A Hike!

Good Morning! Today I am sharing a really fun project! It's a layout that shows three different ways you can scrapbook your projects. Clean and Simple? Maybe a little more? Oh my gosh I can't stop? I think I am the last one! So let's take a peek at what I created.

The Boyz of Summer by Lynn Shokoples

Here are all three layouts in the different stages. I've had this photo of my son and our grand dog Jiggy since last summer looking for the right collection. Then along came Take A Hike! Perfect for those lazy days of summer out at the lake. Now let's take a look at the different layouts a little more closely.

For the first layout I added some Noteworthy Pieces, a little Chipboard and a few strips of the 6x6 Paper Pad. I used one of the cards from the Pocket Squares to use as a title. Done?

For the next step I added more paper strips along the side, backed my photo and added a few more chipboard pieces along with some Noteworthy. There are so many fun elements in the Noteworthy and Chipboard packs, I had a hard time stopping.. now are we done?

For the finished layout I added stamps, some Graphite Pearlescent with the Under the Sea Stickable stencil and a title from the Combo Stickers. I found the Icon and Emoji Stamps perfect for filling in those little spaces and it added some fun to the layout. See.. I have a hard time stopping! I am definitely the "I don't know when to stop" scrapper, always looking for another little spot for an embellishment.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a Scrappy Happy Day!!!!

Firecracker Misc Me!

"Here's to all the places we went" Misc Me album by Agnieszka Bellaidea

I noticed a long time ago my style differs depending on the project. With Misc Me creating it's so easy you just go through pages like with scrapbook pages years ago.

Do you remember times when people created several 12x12 pages in 1 hr?

I like fussy cutting, mixed media touch , stitching and adding all the lovely stuff from BoBunny collections but...

Yes, I have to admit simple style it's still on and if you want to use all these photos you take during trips and family gatherings Misc Me pages are great solution.

A couple of years ago when teaching in my LSS I noticed older ladies getting happy   with "small stuff" they never had when they started adventure with scrapbooking. I was told in "old days" there was so much cutting, messuring, folding and now it's so easy just slide ready elements in transparent pockets.

I have a little trick to tell you. Misc Me pockets are big enough to hold more photos so you can use them not only for one or two . I kept several photos from the same trip under the one you can see on my photo.

Of course if you want there is no need to use glue or even cut papers but still, I like to add little texture.

Another trick to using many photos with one collection is to develop them in black and white or sepia, this way everything will match and you can  use one collection in each album you create.

How do I know you will have more than one? Because Misc Me is addictive !

Misc Me Monday With Believe!

Believe by Lynn Shokoples

Good Morning! I'm so excited today to share the new faith collection Believe with you. This collection can be used in your Bible, your planner, as a layout, or as I did here, on your Misc Me pages. Super flexible and super fun! Let's get started!!

Believe Misc.Me pages by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny featuring the Believe Collection

For these pages I started with the Journal Contents cards then added some of the Pocket Squares for added embellishment. Then came the really fun part... the Lots of Love Stickable Stencil and the jar of Blush Glitter Paste. Hearts and Circles soon filled the pages. Next was the Doodles Blooms Stamp and the Double Dot Licorice Ink Pad. Just a little something extra. The last step was embellishing with the Combo Stickers and the new Clear Stickers. After everything was in place I doodled around my photos with a white pen to add a touch of whimsy.

Adding the tab stickers from the Combo Sticker sheet gave the cards more of a layered look. You can add them right to the cards, or just stick them onto the page protectors.

Hello BoBunny fan! It's Irene here and it's time for me to share another Misc Me project with you all.

I'm assigned to feature the beautiful "Dear Santa" collection in this project. Do you sill have tons of Christmas memories from last year which are yet to be documented? If yes, why not put them into the pocket style scrapping using Misc Me.

For this album, I've decorated its binder using some pattern papers from this collection. You could choose the theme color that you want. I've chosen the traditional colors of gold, red, white and green.

Here are some Misc Me pages which I've created for this album. I've mostly used pieces from the Dear Santa Journal Contents pack.

Using the journal contents pack makes designing these pages so easy. They come in different sizes which fit perfectly for different sizes of pockets.

To make everything sparkle, I've detailed the embellishment with gold glitter paste and jewels.

Travelling with Juliet Misc Me!

Good Morning and Happy Monday Everyone! Today I would love to share some Misc. Me pages with you featuring the new Juliet Collection. My husband and I love to take mini holidays, a few days here and there, just to get away from the hustle and bustle. So I thought this binder would be a perfect way to document some of our trips.

Unlock My Heart Misc.Me by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny featuring the Juliet Collection

First up, I took the 8x9 White and Kraft Binder and did a little decorating. The Noteworthy Package has the sweetest elements in it, so I chose a few for the binder along with the pocket squares in the collection.

I had so much fun with the 8x9 page protectors, deciding which of the pockets squares to use. For the large square I used 4 of the large pocket squares together to create the larger square. For the smaller pockets I just popped in some of the small squares.

For the large pocket, again I took four of the larger squares to make one large piece. Then I had some fun with some stamping using the Wall To Wall Textures Stamp and the It is Written Stamp sets.

On some of the little cards I added some stickers and a little clock from the Timepiece Laser Chipboard set. Even the little cards can have a little something extra!

For the larger card from the Journaling Contents I added the roses from the Noteworthy pack to frame the photo. I also tucked one of the laser cut chipboard pieces from the Butterfly set onto one of the little cards. I find with Misc.Me that each card is like a little individual piece of art. Mixing and matching all the cards is so much fun!
