Christmas Card Kit
Robbie Herring
Designer Tip:  I love the Christmas Card Kits that Bo Bunny makes. This is the kit from last years Father Christmas. It is such and easy way to make beautiful cards in a jiffy! I chose to start with the kit, keep the design and add some personal touches of ribbon and lace
Some ideas for using lace and ribbon.
Thread thin ribbon through the lace to make a ruffle.
Use lace to embellish the chipboard Christmas tree. Use a strong adhesive and pinch the lace to make the ruffles. Trim along the edges of the tree. Finish off by adding a bow to the top of the tree.
Use scissors to cut a slit through all three layers of the paper poinsettias.
Wrap ribbon around the card and pull through the center of the flowers. Tie a bow.
Bo Bunny Supplies:
Card Kit: Father Christmas
Bo Bunny Lace: Clover Lace
Double Dot Ribbon: Cranberry, Almond and Evergreen

Are you inspired to use a little ribbons and lace? I know I am...

Your card doesn't have to be Christmas, it just needs to use
Double Dot ribbon or our new vintage lace, and your choice
of Bo Bunny paper.
There are lots of choices, so the possibilities are endless.
We can't wait to see what you come up with.

You have until January 6, 2013 to add your card.

We will randomly choose from the entries and send you out a
bag-of-happiness (Bo Bunny goodies)
Have Fun!!

A little PINspiration

For all of us 'pin' addicts...
today's layouts were inspired by this pin..

Two reasons I picked this picture
1) It's just fun
2) I love farkle  (anyone else?)

 These layouts are sooo great!
They are going to pinspire you to make fun things!

You Color My World
Juliana Michaels

Juliana says, "I was most definitely inspired by the bright bold colors framing the black and white in the center. I choose to use a black and white photograph, stickers, noteworthy and background paper to offset the bright colors and to represent the white in the center of the image. I then cut rectangles from various Bo Bunny Dot papers, rounded the corners and placed them on the background paper to mimic the colored groupings. I then centered my photo and added the title, stickers and buttons."

 Bo Bunny Supplies:
Cardstock: Double Dot in Buttercup, Licorice, Sugar and Grape; Vintage Dot in Orange Citrus; Dot Stripe in Blueberry and Passion Fruit; Dot Journal in Kiwi and Dot Flourish in Wild Berry
Noteworthy: Enchanted
Stickers: Enchanted
Buttons: Various older Bo Bunny Buttons

I love the way this layout shows off the Double Dot papers!  They are such a staple at my house.
Have you guys used DD papers? Yes? No?

Sweet taste of Summer
by: Julie Wolek-Tucker

Julie says: "I was inspired by the colors and all the square elements in the photo -- and I decided to make a lot of different squares using the Hello Sunshine collection, and create a frame around my photo!"

"Cardstock stickers can make a perfect frame for your photos! You can use them to highlight the part of the photo you really want to concentrate on!"

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Paper: Hello Sunshine, Breezy, Sweet Pea, 6x6 pad
Stickers: Hello Sunshine, Dimensional
Rub ons: Hello Sunshine
Noteworthy: Hello Sunshine

I love how Julie left random spaces in the squares to mimic the dice.
I will definitely be trying this technique.

A year in the Life
Robbie Herring
Robbie says: "I was inspired by the squares and by the dice. To me, the dice look like a whole sea of polka dots! For my layout I incorporated a lot of squares with the pictures and added 3 different polka dot ribbons."
and then she gave this great tip...
"When using lots of small photos, consider printing them as a contact sheet. I also named my pictures by the month they were taken and added that to the contact sheet."
(That's brilliant and I never would have thought of it)

Bo Bunny Suppies:
Patterned Paper: Little Miss Hannah and Little Miss Gracie
Stickers: Little Miss Combo, Garden of Friends and Sweet Girl
Brads: Little Miss
Petals: Little Miss

 Top of the World
Tara Orr

Tara said, "I was completely inspired by the bright colours of this PIN as it reminded me of a rainbow. I wanted to do something that incorporated a happy, summery feel to it so I decided to scrap this photo of my daughter and husband in our backyard a few weeks back."

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Hello Sunshine, Breezy, Cut Outs/Hello Sunshine
Layered Chipboard: Ambrosia
Noteworthy: Hello Sunshine

I love these layouts so much and I love how different these girls are inspired by the same thing.
