Party Time With Juliet!

Hello Everyone! Today we're showing you how to use the Juliet Party in a box, Paper fans and Designer Notebooks to host the most delightful Tea Party.

I started with the Party in a Box and filled out the invitations and stuck them in their gorgeous envelopes and sealed them with washi!!!  Adorable and easy

I added doilies, flowers and jewels to the alphabet die cuts and banner pieces to create this adorable banner which doubled for a photo booth!

For more decorations, I used the Paper fans.  They are my favorite part of the whole party! I love, love, love fans and these are so easy and sturdy.  They held up wonderfully so I can use them time and time again.

The tags were perfect to stamp the girls names on and tie onto the party favors a.k.a. Designer Notebooks.  And can you see the lovely pics in the cupcakes and the darling straws in the teacups.  too cute!!!  Don't forget to sprinkle the confetti around the table for that last little finishing touch, Good luck not getting carried away!

As you can see you can't go wrong using the Juliet Party in a Box, Paper Fans and Decorative Notebooks for your next party

A Party for Two!

Hello Everyone!

It's Denise here today, to share a mixed media party banner for a little fun and romance.

It's always nice to add a little romance and sparkle to our relationships and so I created a mixed media party banner for two and set a little scene for this interlude.

I used a heart tray that I had and added some Juliet goodies and pretties.

I fussy cut some beautiful roses from the Juliet patterned papers to add to my bottles and also tied some twine around their tops.

I made a mixed media banner to add to the romance and let my hubby know how special he is.

Here's a look at the individual pieces.

Let's get a really close up look at that textured background.

So now to show you how to create this banner.
Start by covering your pieces with a thick layer of texture paste - white crackle. Use a large paintbrush and spread the paste around the banner piece. Allow this to dry.

Now use dark brown pigment ink to colour the edges.  Use a lighter brown to lightly go over the crackle paste and highlight the cracks etc. If you feel there is too much brown, just use a damp cloth to tone it down.

Now using a stickable stencil, place this over the banner piece and with a sponge and some distress ink, ink the pattern onto the banner piece.

Move the stickable stencil around to cover the areas you want to.

Remove and clean the stickable stencil with a damp cloth.
Now add some layered and raised die-cut ornate circles, along with the lettering from the party supplies.  Fussy cut some roses from the patterned paper and raise and add these to your banner pieces.

Romance and letting your partner know how special they are, is certainly underrated.

Have a super, romantic day!

Beautfiul Juliet Soiree!

Hello Everyone! Today it's Sunday Funday and it's Denise here to show you some more of the fabulous BoBunny Party Supplies!

Party Items by Denise van Deventer using BoBunny Juliet Collection & Juliet Party Supplies

So many of us belong to crafty groups and needlework and sewing is one of those groups that one could possibly belong to.  So, in line with a sewing/needlecraft get together, I altered some spools and also went with a lace theme.

To create the big altered spool as some decor,  I used half of a paper towel roller and added a circle top and bottom to it. I covered it in Juliet patterned paper and then wound some BoBunny Lace around it and added some pretties.

Here's a closer look at the top of the spool.

For good measure...here's also a close-up of the middle section.

The little spools I altered by using some Juliet Noteworthy bits and also wrapping them with BoBunny lace.

The really nice thing about these BoBunny Juliet Party Supplies, is that one can use them as is, because they are that pretty, or you can add your own little touch of crafty, to make them even more special. So in keeping with the needlecraft/sewing theme I added a little something to the invitations.

Lastly, as little giveaway bags, I used the gift bags and added a little lace and a crocheted doiley.

These gift bags are just "sew" pretty and the sticker rose rounds, come along with the gift bags.

Have a super funday Sunday!
