Misc Me Christmas Recipes by Ulrika Wandler

I choose to turn my Misc Me album into a recipe book for my Christmas recipes! I used the Elf Magic papers and embellishments together with the Zip-A-Dee Doodle Misc Me album, and I think they worked perfectly together!

I won't take credit for the pictures of the dishes in the album. I downloaded them from a recipe website on the Internet and used them together with the recipes. I seldom take pictures of food I make, so that's why!

I have mixed food dishes, cookies and candy in the album. Many of the recipes are traditional Swedish Christmas recipes. But maybe you recognize some of them from your country?

And of course I had to have the perfect recipe for Swedish meatballs in my album! I am from Sweden after all!

I especially love the Elf Magic papers in blue colors! They are perfect together with the red-white-green which is so typical for Christmas.

The black & white palette of the Zip A Dee Doodle Misc Me binder was the perfect backdrop for the reds & greens of the BoBunny holiday collections, Elf Magic and Silver & Gold.

I love the Misc Me system of page protectors & inserts!  This way, I can pre-make the pages before the holiday rush, and then just drop in photos as the month goes along.

I decorated the title page with a Christmas tree theme, knowing that my first holiday photo series would be our "tree-trimming" party.

One of my favorite Misc Me techniques is printing out a 4x6" photo, and then trimming it down the center, to span two 3x4" page protector pockets.

I also love placing accents like chipboard & jewels onto the outside of the page protectors, for some quick dimension & interest.

Elf Magic is such a fun and festive collection and I had this photo from 2 years ago, that is just perfect with this collection! Santa's little helpers are just so sweet!

Christmas is certainly such a fun time for children and my son cannot wait for Santa to come and make his yearly visit! He has written his letter to Santa and so I hope Santa brings him what he asked for!

Christmas is all about lights and shiny balls and beautiful decorations and so my page would not be complete without some bling and Elf Magic Jewels.

Your First Christmas by Evgenia Petzer

This was the first Christmas of my son. He actually had only 2 Christmas in a winter country, now as we live in sunny South Africa, he can only dream about white Christmas, so I thought the new Woodland Winter collection is perfect for capturing these memories.

Winter Wonderland by Amy Voorthuis

I challenged myself not to use red as one of my base colors.....the Silver & Gold collection allows you to used different colors as well! That's why I went for green and gold as the base of my layout.

I don't have many Christmas pictures so I went for three wintry ones.



We live near a huge pond where we can ice-skate in the winter it's such a fun time, but the best part is just after! Drinking hot coco as my son would say.



I really adore this versatile collection and the best part is that awesome Santa and Reindeer .
I used some green and gold Pan Pastels to accent the background on my layout.



To make it more of a wintry layout I added some True Snow on the grass where the reindeer is standing on. And for the finishing touch I also added some snow on my flowers.

A Few of my Favorite Things by Rhonda Van Ginkel

I just love the classic elegance of the Silver &Gold collection and wanted to showcase that elegance, while keeping it fun and a bit whimsical!

I selected a photo from last year that shows the excitement of waiting for Santa at ages 3 and 5!  I printed it in black and white so the focal point would be their expressions.  The sentiment is of course from Noteworthy and was the main inspiration that I built the overall design from. 

I cut some lacy border pieces from the Silver & Gold pattern paper, then created a border behind my green layer to coordinate the elegance of the pattern on the red background paper, The List. 

Some jewels were the finishing touch on my Toy Shoppe sign and also on the title. Make sure that you ask for this collection at your local scrapbook store!

Gift Wrapping Ideas

With the holidays quickly approaching we wanted to give you a few quick gift wrapping ideas!

Wine Bottle Gift Set - Lisa Novogrodski

BoBunny has done an amazing job with the elegant appeal of the Silver and Gold Collection. I've created a beautiful way to dress up an ordinary wine bottle cylinder box by mixing some of the pattern papers and adding some shabby trims. My matching tag ties around the wine bottle and acts as a card with the sweet Christmas sentiment from the Holiday Wishes Stamp Set.

I dressed up the papers with velvet and gold ribbons and created my own shabby chic fringe crepe paper trim for the sides.

These snowflakes and bells were dollar store finds. I dressed them up with glitter and mica flakes for sparkle and shine! My dimensional stickers are wishing you "Peace, Love and Joy" all tucked into a beautiful bow and frosty bells.

My tag is a delight for those who love a vintage shabby chic look. I've used the Santa Chipboard and covered it in Rock Candy Crackle then inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The little tag wishes you a seasons greeting stamped with the Holiday Wishes Stamp Set completing my VERY MERRY gift set!

Christmas Card and Ring Gift Box - Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell)

I made a Christmas card and gift box for a ring. 

To begin, I will show the card. I decided to use the technique of layering which makes any card a winner.

In the following photo you can see the dimension a little better.

The box was easy to make and there is "snow" and "gold threads" inside. This is my gift box and the ring is already inside it.

I love Christmas, it is my favorite holiday. There are many traditions in my family. One of them is the visit of Santa Claus on Christmas eve. This is time more waited for the children.Santa Claus talks with the children, the, calling them by their name he gives them gifts

 Fall Tradition by Keri Babbitt

One of our very favorite Autumn traditions is the pumpkin patch.  We love picking jack-o-lanterns for Halloween, and pie pumpkins for Thanksgiving!  

For this page, I chose a creamy neutral background, to showcase the bright Fall colors in the photos.  Cream jewels and copper brads were the perfect Fall accents to finish off this page.

Designer Tip:  To customize the look of my embellishment clusters, I layered chipboard, stickers, diecut, jewels and brads from the Autumn Song collection.
