Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes....

Happy New Year Bo Bunny fans!

This time of year always brings with it thoughts of a new year and a fresh start, but it is also winter time for those of us living in the northern hemisphere. I personally don't care for the cold, but I do love snowflakes! So when I first saw the Bo Bunny Winter Lace snowflake, I knew I wanted to create something with it!

Today I am sharing a stamping tutorial using the Bo Bunny Winter Lace snowflake, embossing powder and glitter. Here is the finished project. I also created a video for you to view with instructions on how to create your very own glitter, embossed snowflake. I used it on a card, but you could easily use it on a layout or tag.Supplies: Snowy Serenade Winter Night, Double Dot Slate Dot, Double Dot Frost Dot, Winter Lace Stamp, iCandy Jewels

Hope you enjoyed this project and happy creating!!!

On the Eleventh Day of Christmas...

Are you still looking for last minute gifts?

Well I've got a great idea for you that will take you very little time to make.

Designer: Christine Ousley

Winter Night, Snowy Serenade, Double Dot paper, Snowy Serenade 12x12 Cardstock Stickers, iCandy Brads Ensemble, Snowy Serenade Buttons & Bling, Snowy Serenade Flowers

Even with all of our computers, phones, PDA's and such, so many still enjoy having a piece of paper handy. Writing a quick note to a friend, passing some information to someone you just met or writing down some last minute additions to the grocery list are a few reasons to give this notebook and envelope holder to a friend or coworker or maybe just make one for yourself.

The base is very simple. Just a piece of Double Dot cardstock any size with a 1/4 inch section scored in the middle to hold the pen. I then attached pieces of patterned paper to the each side for decoration. The left side is a notepad that I created using notebook paper. I stacked the papers together, put some glue on top and wrapped another strip of patterned paper around the top and back, then added brads for extra stability. Then I attached to the left hand side of the cover.
On the right side I created a pocket to hold envelopes. I just scored the patterned paper on each side to create a fold so the pocket had some depth. You can use a circle punch to create the notch in the envelope before attaching to right hand side cover.

As I close my post I want to wish everyone a safe and wonderful Holiday Season.

Thanks for the great idea today Christine!! And we're onto Day 11 of our Giveaway!!
