Christmas Tea Holder

Hello hello!

Just a few days left until Christmas and I have some Christmas decor for you. I think that there are so many ways to decorate for Christmas, not just things to put on the wall and so on. I also like to decorate stuff that in this case, for a tea holder that is standing on the kitchen table together with the teapot.

It looks a little bit nicer than the regular tea holders that they come in when you buy them. This is also a very nice gift. ;)

So for today I want to show you my little tea holder that I have standing in my kitchen this Christmas and I hope you will like it. There will also be a video on youtube how to make this one if you would like to do one to!

DIY Home Decor Project

Hi, Crafty friends!!

Elisa here from Italy!
Today I want to share with you my new project: A "Home Sweet home" decor. But, what is behind it?? A large straw trivet!! So this is an altered item, of course. And Boulevard collection was the best to create a floral decor for my home!!!

This is the original Straw Trivet:

A bit of glitter gold paste on the external circles of straw and really a lor of red, white and yellow roses!!!
As color background for the inner part, this time I chose green.
And then I layered some wood effect paper as base for the sentiment.

For the sentiment I used my Silhouette with We R Memory Keepers Foil Quill!!! The effect is great!

I used also other embellishment by Boulevard collection: chipboard stickers and normal stickers too!! And I also die cut that wonderful ornament with the dark yellow cardstock.

I love the roses chipboard stickers in this collection: some have a wonderful gold foil effect on the edge. Some have a normal border. And the combo is perfect!!

The wood effect is really delicate... As the whole project !!

So this was only a Straw Trivet... A bit of creativity, a wonderful BoBunny paper collection, and now I have a great home decor!!

BoBunny Supplies:
12x12" Boulevard Pad
Boulevard Chipboard Stickers
Boulevard Stickers

Hope you enjoy it!
Till next time!

Christmas Tin with Denise

Hello BoBunny Fans

It's Denise here today to share a Christmas altered tin with you.

I really had so much fun creating this little feature, that I know I will be creating a few more of these.

Christmas Treasures_Altered Tin_Denise_06 Sep 01This photo above is the front of the tin and I used noteworthy pieces, fussy cut pieces and die-cut pieces to create this, along with some striped patterned paper. I added some white gel pen highlights and some pearlescent to the poinsettia center.

Now to the inside of this little tin. This is the other side of the front cover. I cut some bits from the patterned papers and then layered them up, ending with the gorgeous key on the top.

In the actual tin inside, I used lots of tiny Christmas foliage die-cuts, along with some noteworthy pieces, some berries and texture bits, which were all layered and given dimension so that it looks 3d.

Here's a closer look at some of those bits.

Again, I added some white gel pen highlights and also used pearlescents for details and interest.

On the bottom of the tin, I cut some patterned paper to size and glued this in place. This completed the little tin.

I am definitely going to use this as a decoration piece and feature at Christmas time and I have a few other tins that I am going to decorate also and give away as gifts.

Time is moving quickly towards Christmas time and if one is going to make handmade gifts and cards, then I guess we had better get cracking on these projects!

Thanks ever so much for stopping by the BoBunny blog today! I hope you were inspired and might try a little Christmas tin yourself.

Have a fabulous day!
