We've come up with a fun one for you today,
and just wait until you see what the

So here's the challenge...
We challenge you, to create a layout using
the title of your favorite movie or TV show!

"Good Times"

Products Used: Sun Kissed Heat Wave Die Cut, Sun Kissed Adventure,
Sun Kissed Chillin', Noteworthy Fun in The Sun, Summer Sun Cardstock Sticker,
12" Sun Kissed Chipboard, Sun Kissed iCandy Brads, Buttons, Bling, Sun Kissed Combo Sticker,
Double Dot Ribbon, Aquamarine Double Dot, Stamp & Store Write On

Designer Tip: Use Cardstock Sticker words for a unique journaling block.

For water themed layouts and projects, use clear
dimentsional glaze on alpha stickers to give them the "wet look".

Add iridescent sparkle dimensional glaze to chipboard colored circles
to give appearance of splashed water droplets, do the same to buttons!

Use Stamp n Store Write On set to create a photo frame/mat - use glitter pens
to trace scrolls and circles for even more color and definition

Designer Tip: Journal between the lines on the tree design found in Peacock Lane Bleu.


On older photos with date stamps, use embellishments to cover the date if desired.

Staple ribbon loops to a think strip of scrap paper, and cover staples with an overlapped boarder.

Designer Tip: It's okay to "break the rules". Although scrapbook classes teach us to "ground everything"
I choose to float my clouds on the left, because floating is what clouds do best.
Break the rules and have fun! For a twist on dating the event, stamp a partial stamp of the
Save the Date stamp. I noticed that 2010 and the date we went to the zoo fell into the same quadrant,
and chose to stamp a portion of the image, using red to circle the date.
Using the same set, a marker was used to "ink" June only on another stamp, and
it was imaged within the first impression. Use the Distress Me Out stamp set to "stitch"
around the outside edge of a page with lots of white space. This will add a boarder of color.
A fine tip maker of the same color can be used to doodle in strands, and
some "out of line" stitching, which helps bring the two pages together in the center.

Designer Tip: Use a page from the Noteworthy journal pages as an embellishment for your page.
Do you like to create your own embellishments? Cut images out of your patterned paper
add a little bling and then attach them to your project with dimensional foam tape.

Peacock Lane Daily Notes

I didnt think I liked purple until Peacock Lane landed in my lap! WOW how cute and vibrant is this collection and so useable too - no matter what the occassion i can see me pulling this range of papers out!
I made this simple daily notes book to keep track of the little things.......you know the funny things kids say or do and the little things that really make you feel good throughout the day :)The inside was decorated with the swirls from the 12" sticker combo sheet. It adds a little more dimention than flat patterned paper. On the back cover is a simple message - smile :)
