Life Journey Mini Album with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends!

This time I used the most gorgeous Sunshine Bliss collection again and made a cute, card sized mini album that has a different binding from the previous one I made with another BoBunny collection.

This album has a folded spine and is great for bulky pages. Each page is actually done as a pocket and you can add whatever you want inside the pockets. It can be your favorite summer photo or the tickets to water park or even your kids drawing and you still have space to glue photos or ephemera  over the black pages if you wish to do so.

The cover was made with BoBunny Double Dot cardstock and then embellished with Sunshine Bliss cardstocks, layered chipboard, die cuts, stickers and BoBunny flowers.

The title of the album was done with this collection's thickers and a die cut and it's "Life Journey" as a main title and "Today is a perfect day to be happy" as a subtitle.

Here are most of page spread for you to see.

I used mostly paper cuts and stickers and on each page front. A quote was stamped using our new BoBunny stamp set-expressions. Each quote was stamped over a die cut cardstock piece with hot pink ink from American Crafts Vicki Boutin Mixed Media ink set. This is a pigmented ink and as such it was heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

The page edges were inked with the same ink and as this ink is highly pigmented you have to heat dry the edges (unless you want some mess that happened to some of my pages, but it looks pretty after all).

The pink left page is perfect for summer photos to add over it. So are all other left side pages that were left without any embellishments.

Thanks for being here with me today and see you in a month with new and exciting BoBunny releases!

-Irit

Altered Box using Early Bird with Marilyn

Hello BoBunny fans! It's Marilyn here, I want to share with you an altered box that I created with the Early Bird collection. My daughter Paola loves tea and I decorated this box to keep her tea bags.
I started measuring all the sides of a cardboard box that I bought at the local craft store. I cut pieces of paper following the measures and covered the box. I chose the yellows, blues and coral paper colors from the collection.

I gave the textures with the Lace stencil and modeling paste and applied crackle paste in the corners of the box's lid. I cut out different images from the papers to make the composition.

It's easier to work with the stickables stencil because they adhere to the paper while you're applying the paste and textures.
Here is one side of the box. As you can see I give details to each inch around the lid.  I painted with white paint the Foliage Laser Cut Chipboard that adhered on the top.  I decorated with the die cuts, layered chipboards, stickers and images from the papers.
This is how it looks from the other side. I added foam dots behind the roses and butterflies to give dimension .

I covered the interior with the same papers. I removed the lid and the tea bags fit perfect inside the box. I hope it inspires you to alter any box that you already have. Thanks for stopping by...until next time! xx

Marilyn

Vintage Music Album by Agnieszka Bellaidea

Several months ago I started collecting LP's and every now and again I have a chance to buy a "new" LP, today I want to show you mini transformation of an old music album. I used Somewhere in Time collection to redo the look. Since I am going to use my album a lot  and I will store it with all the others I wanted to make it pretty but still durable.

While working on this projects I was thinking about all books I used to fix in school's library. We liked to redo covers with my friends.

I kept the old cover from fabric and used stamps with gold embossing powder. Washi tape was also a great choice for durable look.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper:  Somewhere in Time, Evening Mist  / Somewhere in Time
Jewels: Chocolate Jewels,
Stamps: New Stitches Stamp, New Gateway Stamp, Curly Q Stamps,

Embellishments Suitcase by Amy Voorthuis

I finally had a purpose for a suitcase I had in my stash for a while now, I was waiting for the right collection.
I bought this suitcase at a flea market for 2 euro's (it was so ugly *grin*) My husband changed the handle for me which I bought at a hardware store just for this suitcase.

First I used gesso for the whole suitcase to give it a softer look, then I tore all the paper in little pieces and just randomly stuck it on there with Glue N' Seal (matte finish). When is was all dry I finished it off with a little more gesso. The backside is just with the torn paper as I will use this laying down anyways.

Buttons: Somewhere In Time
Brads: Somewhere In Time
Jewels: Somewhere In Time

Blossoms Easter Eggs

Designer Tip: I used several pieces from the Petals package to create some of my flowers.
I began by layering the two smallest flowers. I then cut up the largest flower in the package
and glued half of the petals to the backside of one of the flowers. The flowers were finished
by adding a jewel and some glitter to the center. You can see more details on how
I created the Easter Eggs on my blog at 17turtles

 Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Dot, Laundry, Rambling Rose and Wanderlust/ Prairie Chic
Blossoms: Zinnia in Blush, Buttercup and Denim Blue
Petals: Prairie Chic and C'est la Vie
Jewels: Various Bo Bunny

Family Album
Jolanda Meurs
I have bought this for 1 euro in a local store and made a fun mini album with Family is! I made extra pages on the left side using a extra binder.  On the right side you can make as much pages as you want to put your family pictures in.

 Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Family is, Ask Dad/Fun/Nuts & Mine
Buttons: Family is (also the package)
Trinkets: Familie is
Layered Chipboard: Familie is
Chipboard: Family is
Combo Stickers: Family is

Easter Basket Centerpiece
Robbie Herring
Tip: I used the Medium Doilies for the ruffles around my basket. I just folded them in half, gathered them up with my fingers and glued them to the inside of the paper mache box. I covered them with a strip of paper to hide the gathers. There are 14 doilies. Since each package has 20, I have plenty left for other projects.

 Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Prairie Chic Wanderlust and Rambling Rose
Flowers: Prairie Chic
Lace: Clover and Blush
Jewels: Prairie Chic
Doilies: Medium

Seriously... You can alter anything.  I love taking something that has gotten boring or mundane and
adding a little new life to it.  Prairie Chic, C'est La Vie, Family is... and Isabella have done just
that... given new life to old items!  What are you going to alter???
