A great way to use up many pieces of journaling tags is to use them for layering.

Another easy way of layering will be inking and stamping.

So Cozy
Gabrielle Pollacco
A photo I took of my youngest daughter when we were at Niagara Falls a couple weeks back, Meg's was chilled so she took my sweater/scarf and started hamming up with it.
For one of my clusters I thought I would create a little pocket to slip my photo into. I just cut a slit into the paper and stitched near the edge, glued a bit of piping (fabric) along the edge and added some brads to create a fun pocket element.
I love using the new Bo Bunny blooms and dimensional Cardstock stickers in groupings/clusters.
Designer Tip: A great way to differentiate two cluster/areas on a page is to paint/drybrush or stamp behind the photo area, it draws the eye into the photo.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Powder Mountain (Lodge), Snow Day (Snow Day)
6x6 Paper Pad: Powder Mountain

Mireille Divjak

Bo Bunny Supplies:

Paper: On the go/ Vroom, Gears ; Hello Sunshine/ Daydream
Blossoms: Harvest Orange Pansy, Buttercup Daisy, Buttercup Bouquet, Buttercup Lace

Stamps: Ad Lib, Smoochable
Jewels: Barefoot & Bliss
12" Chipboard: Alora

I took one blossom from the Orange Pansy package and took it apart. I used the petals as balloons and Stamped the strings with the Smoochable stamp set.

Tip: The background was a little empty for my taste. I took the "Celebrate text stamp" (from the Ad Lib Collection) and stamped birthday text in different colors to go with the birthday theme / balloons. )

What fun ideas! We'd love to see the embellishments you make. Post your projects on our Facebook page. And have a happy November!! (I can't believe it's already here!)

What are your traditions?

Do you have a fun fall or Halloween tradition??

I do.  I have a big porch and I love, love, love to decorate it.
I buy hay bales, gourds & corn stalks.  I collect pumpkins and fall leaves.
I have bushel baskets full of pine-cones and fall pics.
Then I arrange it all into a little scene and I kinda just wanna hang
out there.  It's so inviting.

Today we have projects/layouts inspired by
Fall & Halloween & Traditions!

Witch Hat
by Jolanda Meurs
Check out the Bo Bunny Blossoms on this hat....
Tip: Punch out about 12 circles. Fold them in half and glue them together until you get this Pumpkin.
 Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned paper: Apple Cider Stripe
Blossoms: Natural Earth Pansy/Harvest Orange Daisy

Trick O Trunk
Debbie Sherman
Journaling reads: Trunk O Treating is a tradition that has been in this family for years!
Designer tip: Using patterned paper to make embellishments for your layout is an
easy way to make your layout coordinate. Cut out the patterns and pop them up
with foam squares to give them dimension.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Apple Cider Hickory, Apple Cider, Afternoon, Pumpkin Patch, Dot
Cardstock: Double Dot in Licorice Dot
Brads: Apple Cider
Flowers: Apple Cider Market Petals
Chipboard: Apple Cider 12 x 12, Apple Cider Layered Chipboard

Unforgettable Halloween
Juliana Michaels

Designer Tip: The spiders were cut from black cardstock using a die cut machine. I then applied a layer of glossy accents. While this "glue" was still wet, I sprinkled a combination of fine and chunky black glitter on them. Once dry, I adhered them to the layout using double sided foam tape for more dimension. I also added glossy accents to the letters on the title sticker. Another technique I used was to remove the center of the Serenity Trinkets and replaced them with a top of a brad. I used wire cutters to remove the prongs on the brad to make it easier to attach them
 Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Bounty/Apple Cider; Enchanted/Enchanted
Cardstock: Dot Journal in Grape and Double Dot in Licorice
Stickers: Follow Your Heart Cardstock Stickers/Enchanted
Chipboard: Enchanted 12 x 12
Blossoms: Plum Purple Bouquet, Plum Purple Daisy
Trinkets: Serenity
Brads: Bo Bunny

Halloween Teacher Treats

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Afternoon, Stripe/ Apple Cider
Chipboard: 12x12/ Apple Cider
