Bo Bunny Girl

Trots (Proud)
Romy Veul
Journaling: Being a real perfectionist, I'm not proud of myself very often. But one moment that I was really proud of myself, was when I received my propaedeutics last year. My first year at University has been pretty rough. I switched studies after only 6 weeks. So I had to make new friends, catch up on my exams and really had to find the drive to get started. Receiving my propaedeutics marked the end of this difficult first year for me. I was so proud that I made it.

Patterned Paper: Brenna, Dorothy, Gracie, Hannah, Jamayka, Cut Outs/ Little Miss
Double Dot Cardstock: Decaf Vintage
Blossoms: Natural Earth Zinnia, Natural Earth Dahlia

I can't wait to see what you all accomplished last year...
hurry and scrap your reflection and play along with our challenges.
You have until Feb. 7th to enter.  We will randomly pick a winner for
a bag of Bo Bunny happiness!!!

And the winner of last months Layout Challenge is...

Congratulations Jane! And thanks to everyone that

Layout Challenge and WINNER!

Are you ready to be inspired and challenged??

It's the weekend and we've got a fun challenge for you
to start thinking about....

Separate Cluster Technique Challenge:
Separate clusters on your page. You will need to use at least 2 photos.
Create at least 2 clusters with at least 1 photo in each cluster.

Here is a link to our 'How to Cluster' post in case you need to brush up.

And for your viewing pleasure....some of the girls took the challenge to cheer you on!

Splash
Debbie Sherman
"These photos are of my littlest grand daughter Adalyn. We were outside in the front yard and the sprinklers came on and before I knew it she was taking off her shoes and splashing in the water...then her clothes came off! It was so funny!"

Wild About Winter
Irene Tan

A great way to use up many pieces of journaling tags is to use them for layering.

Another easy way of layering will be inking and stamping.
 Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Powder Mountain, Memories, Home/Powder Mountain
Brads: Powder Mountain
Jewels: Powder Mountain
Chipboard: Powder Mountain 12 x 12
Flowers: Denim Blue Zinnia, Denim Blue Daisy
Lace: Natural Earth
Clear Stamps: Powder Mountain

So Cozy
Gabrielle Pollacco
A photo I took of my youngest daughter when we were at Niagara Falls a couple weeks back, Meg's was chilled so she took my sweater/scarf and started hamming up with it.
For one of my clusters I thought I would create a little pocket to slip my photo into. I just cut a slit into the paper and stitched near the edge, glued a bit of piping (fabric) along the edge and added some brads to create a fun pocket element.
I love using the new Bo Bunny blooms and dimensional Cardstock stickers in groupings/clusters.
Designer Tip: A great way to differentiate two cluster/areas on a page is to paint/drybrush or stamp behind the photo area, it draws the eye into the photo.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Powder Mountain (Lodge), Snow Day (Snow Day)
6x6 Paper Pad: Powder Mountain
Brads: Powder Mountain
Cardstock Sticker: Snow Day
Layered Chipboard: Powder Mountain
Flowers: Denim Blue Bouquet Blossoms, Demin Blue Zinnia, Denim Blue Pansy
Rubons: Powder Mountain

Oh Sweet Fall
Robbie Herring

 Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Apple Cider Pumpkin Patch, Afternoon and Bounty, Double Dot Vintage Chiffon and Clover Dot

Trinkets: Apple Cider
Ribbon: Burnt Orange Double Dot
Blossoms: Natural Earth Daisy and Harvest Orange Daisy

Wowza! After those amazing layouts, I'm ready to scrap, how about you?

Cleaning up mess's again... and winning and challenging

This has been a funny morning.

First of all, I ended up not having a blog post for today and
was so sad.  It's rare that I have nothing to say.

Then, our cute Bo Bunny friend Erica left a comment and
was so confused by my picking a winner for our layout challenge.
Well, no wonder she was so confused...
I didn't clean up my mess yesterday, I made a bigger one.

Thanks for the help Erica... I hope I get it right this time.

June's challenge was "Juliana's sketch" on June 1st.
July's challenge was "White Space" on July 13th.
August's challenge was supposed to be "Interview Journaling" from Aug 3.

Now... and I kid you not.
I have someone in the office pick a number
between 1 and the number of entries in the contest,
to pick our winners for our challenges.

I explained my mess up to them all and explained I needed a winner
for June's challenge and asked Rae to pick a number between 1 and 35.
She picked number 9.
Drum roll......
The winner of June's challenge is Erica!!!

Congrats Erica and looks like you had a blast in Philly!!!

Then.... I posted the "White Space" winner yesterday (Krystle)
which takes care of July.

NOW... for August.
I'll start the challenge today, since the Sept. challenge ends up being on Sept. 14th,
so we have plenty of time to play.

Here is a link back to the post, so you can read about the challenge, and then I'll add
the inlinkz to this post, so you can add your 'interview' layout.

Thanks for being patient with us (me) and I can't wait to see what you
all come up with.  If you have any questions... just leave a comment and
we'll get back with you.  Thanks!!!

to make the journaling post in July as a challenge at all.

So.... the winner of the June White Space Challenge is....
I love that Krystle made her white space layout a double pager!
Congrats Krystle and sorry it took me so long.
