Designer tip: I used charcoal chalk ink to stamp my images because it
gives a softer printed image. However, sometimes when using chalk ink
with clear stamps, you are never quite sure whether you have inked the
entire image, so I also place a piece of plain white paper under my
perspex block, this helps to see any missed areas on the stamp.

Designer Note: I used the stamps in several different ways on my
lay-out. I stamped the written pattern and hexagons with embossing ink
and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I also did some
stamping with pink distress ink inbetween the embossed patterns. In the
end I stamped the written pattern in black as well and cut this pattern
out, to use it as a nice vintage touch on my lay-out.
