Modern Miss Layouts

The inside scoop on Modern Miss:

Below you will find the mood board and some of Amy's (the designer) thoughts while creating the modern miss collection!

When I made modern miss I wanted it to be a bright feminine line that would give anyone happy butterflies! Just like every time I open Pinterest.

I used bits and pieces from my childhood remembrances like the vintage camera and the viewfinder but also tried to tie in modern pieces like the glasses and shoes.

I like to think of it as fresh, fun and funky, something any woman would want to put pictures of her, her daughters, her friends and her family. I hope you all enjoy this line as much as I do.

I used this selfie taken a couple of years ago, together with these gorgeous papers and embellishments from Modern Miss. I guess I really, really want to be a "modern miss" (or mrs. since I'm married!) ;-)

I love all the fun images in this collection. It is so versatile for all kind of layouts. In my layout, I've used a photograph captured while Chloe is taking picture. There is so much concentration and focus in her face during that moment.

I wanted to bring this focus into the design of this layout. Therefore, I've created a lens look with the circular design in the middle of the layout.

Good stuff by Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell)

Despite the fact that the paper itself expects to be used for scrapping "about girls", I still decided to use it to create a LO with a photo of my friend's son.

He was actually holding a huge pumpkin, but now there is  unreal pyramid of balls (buttons) in its place.

A bit of modeling paste and white mist adds some liveliness to the LO, I think.

I left some space for her to write the date after I give her the layout.

And, of course, I added a few touches with a pen - I love doodling!
