Happy Tails Layouts

We all know that our four legged friends are the best! That's why you need the Happy Tails collection in your "stash" of scrapping goodies!

My Best Friend by Tracee Provis

When I saw the new Happy Tails collection I felt sure Bo Bunny had designed them "just for me".  I took the My Buddy sheet cut in half, flipped one half over and rejoined it with some of the gorgeous washi tape which then made the perfect background for my water mad Colliedoodle Rodney.

My cluster around the main photograph is made up of elements from the matching Noteworthy, Brad and  12 x 12 Combo sticker sheet. To give it that final finishing touch I added a little more Washi Tape, and the Jewels make the perfect "sprinkles" to give it a little sparkle.

On the other side of the page the printed polaroid frames are already beautifully detailed and don't really need a lot adding to them for them to look complete. I couldn't resist adding the XO sticker from the Head Over Heels collection. There is no waste with Bo Bunny products as you can see I cut one of the Happy Tails labels from the header of paper to add under one of my photos

Meow by Lisa Novogrodski

Hello BoBunny Fans! Today I am sharing a photo of the newest addition to my family "Miss Minxy." She is now just 6 months old and she was waiting for "Happy Tails" to come along and make the "purrfect" backdrop for her sweet face. I love a collage style look and BoBunny's "Noteworthy" make this type of scrapping a piece of cake. I've added many bits and pieces beneath my photo including the detail cutting of some frames from the "Menagerie" papers.

I'm in love with the new Washi Tapes and used the "Black and White Patterned" along my edges. It lends a very interesting look to the page.

I've used a lot of inking in the background along with stamping with my favorite BoBunny Stained Texture Stamps.

I covered my wooden gears in a few different color mists to give them a grungy look.

My puppy Zoe, is the funniest, shaggiest dog, full of personality! Since she was a pup she always had this adorable little tuft of hair that sticks up from the top of her head. In this photo she was rolling around on the couch and got herself all static, so her hair was sticking up all over.

I picked up the soft tan and neutral colors in this collection along with the blue/teals for this layout. I used the neutral color blooms from the Natural Earth bloom collections and the blue bloom from the Denim collection. I also used some of the pleated fabric strips from the Kraft collection to add more natural elements to the page.

Designer Tip: I like to save all kinds of odds and ends metal bits in a jar to add extra embellishments to a page.  Recently I made a seating board for my nieces wedding that used loads of small frames.  I didn't need the backing on the frames so I tore off all the little picture hooks/loops. Here they came in useful as a nice accent on the Kraft strip mixed with a small piece of chain.

To add a little more 'real' to the cute die cute leash piece, I did a little bit of machine stitching along the edges of the strip.  I also fussy cut some frames (above and below) to accent the page.  Another favourite embellishment I love from the Bo Bunny collections are the buttons and layered chipboard!

I fussy cut the blue frame from one of the patterned papers to create a frame for my title.  I finished it with a trinket from the brad collection.

Happy Tails Cat Mini Album

Our fur babies are so fun to have around the house. They keep us company, and provide lots of entertainment. Have you wondered what you should do with all those photos you have of your special furry friends? Check out BoBunny's Happy Tails collection!

Kitty Mini by Lisa Gregory

With 2 kitties who live in our home, Willow and Bentley deserved a photo album of their own . The Happy Tails Collection was PURRRRRFECT for a kitty mini album!! This is the cover to the album. I created the base of the album using chipboard and covered it with the pattern paper. I added some of the  Happy Tails chipboard pieces and brads. I also added some of the BoBunny blossoms.

On the spine of the album, I punched a hole on top, placed a brad in the hole and used hand dyed ribbon to match the paper and I created jeweled dangles and also used the tags from the 12x12 chipboard set. The theme was anything cats loved. Butterflies, fish and other kitties.

This is the inside of the front cover. I lined the inside of the mini before I added my pages.

I created a waterfall flip card to hold lots of journaling and photos. This creates a lot of "realestate" on 1 page for your photo's and journaling.

The smaller journaling cards were perfect to create the fillers on the flip cards. Some were used as frames and others were left blank intentionally for handwritten journaling.

Here is another page spread in the mini. Using bits and pieces of the Happy Tails chipboard helped to fill in small spaces and created great designs. Some of the journaled pieces can be altered. I placed the word "Cat' over a the word "Dog". No dogs allowed in this mini!!

Here is another page. On the right side, I created more flip cards.

And here is a view of a couple of the flip cards on this page.

You can create as many flip cards  as will fit on the page.I created a total of 5.

Here is another page where there is room for more photos and journaling.

I cut apart and matted one of the larger journaling cards to create my page "I Love Cats" and added a chipboard flourish.

 Another double page spread.

This is the last page and inside of the back cover. I thought I would end the mini with sleeping kitties.

This is the back cover.

This is a view of the mini opened up for a backside view. I really enjoyed using all of the Bobunny embellishments to create this mini that will hold precious memories of our 2 little fur babies.

Happy Tails Misc Me

Animals do the funniest things! Use a Misc Me to capture the day to day moments. Misc Me makes it so easy to journal all those funny stories.

Cat Misc Me pages by Romy Veul

I have been a cat lover for as long as I can remember and we have also always had cats ourselves. Some time ago I started a Misc Me album that contains all things that make me happy and of course I couldn't help including our beloved cats in it as well.

The Happy Tails collection and the Misc Me journal cards that come with this collection were just perfect for making a few pages about our cats.

I actually used the weekly journal page to document the daily things that our cats do, which usually consist mainly of sleeping and eating. I also journaled about a few things that I love about our cats to document this for the future.

I always like to work with embellishments, but it's better not to incorporate too many thick embellishments on the journal cards that are inside the sleeves. Therefore, I decided to use the Misc Me Dividers (from the The Avenues collection) to make small lay-outs in my Misc Me album. On these pages you can work with more depth, whereas I went for a less layered look when working with the sleeves.

I actually mixed the Misc Me journal cards with papers from the 6x6 paper pad. I did some layering with the papers and also cut out several images from both the journal cards and the papers for a nice look.

I have a lot of random snapshots of our cats, such as the two above. I usually don't think they are pretty enough to use for a lay-out, but they appeared to be just perfect for my Misc Me album, which is meant for scrapping those daily moments that make life so special but are often forgotten.

And So There Was 2 by Denise van Deventer

We got a puppy in January and so this Misc Me project was just perfect for me.  So this is also the reason for the title of my new Misc Me file - And so there was 2 - because we now have 2 doggies. They are the 2 you see playing on the cover. I want to document Blossom's life and show her growth and development.
Our animals become part of the family and really are such a big part of our lives!

My first page is of the very first day that Blossom came to us.  She was really very small and I think was quite lost without her Mommy, brothers and sisters and just looked so very sad! We loved her from that very first moment and she has crept into our hearts.

You will see that on the cover and throughout my binder, I have used a wall stamp of a paw print, which I have had for ages, but never used, until now. That's the great thing about crafting, you can use all sorts of things to compliment your projects.

The Misc Me cards are so awesome and I really loved these Happy Tails ones. There really are so very cute and really make documenting so fun and easy.

I have used some journalling papers as well as journalling cards and the mix and match works really well.

I have used the fabulous new BoBunny washi tapes on many of my pages too and so love how it creates a feature, without adding bulk.

Please pop over to my blog if you would like to see more of my pages.

Happy Tails Layouts

Hey all you four legged animal lovers, you are going to want to stop by everyday this week! We will be featuring our Happy Tails collection  in a varieties of ways!

Paw Prints On My Heart by Juliana Michaels

We recently adopted a 9 year old Golden Retriever and he immediately left paw prints on my heart. When I saw the Happy Tails collection, I felt that is was a match made in doggie heaven and I couldn't wait to create a scrapbook page using it.

Designer Tip: The Misc Me Journal Cards aren't just for pocket page scrapping. I used a variety of them to mat and frame my photo and to layer and decorate with on my page. I cut all of them into 2 pieces and placed one on one side of the photo/page and the other half on the other side.

Designer Tip: To add more dimension to your letter stickers, adhere them to you layout using double sided foam tape. Tape that is on a roll can be cut to the size you need.

Three Legged Friends are Best by Rhonda Van Ginkel

I was thrilled to get this collection so I could scrap our family dog, Radar. He is extra special, gentle and sweet. These photos of him capture his soft nature and I was so excited scrap them! You can see I've altered the title, he was born with three legs and is just a joy in every single way.

I started my page by trimming the Stripes paper to a 10x10 and then decided maybe I wanted to try a different look, so I took the center point and then created a big triangle. I matted it and then collaged the fun embellishments in the line, adding a few die cuts of my own along the way.

We can't wait to see you pet projects that you create featuring this amazing collection! Happy Tails is perfect for most every kind of furry creature!
