The colours of Autumn are my favourite colour combinations. So that makes Enchanted Forest way high on my very cool list! There is also a new set of stamps and dies for all you BoBunny fans that matches this collection perfectly :) and today I have two cards to show you that use the Enchanted Forest collection and the new Falling Leaves stamps.
In New Zealand its definitely not autumn, we're heading into Spring :) :) but I love this colour scheme, and my cards use the theme behind the collection - being thankful.
The first card I've kept pretty simple. I've stamped each of the leaves in the set with a different colour ink, that incorporates the colours of the collection, layered a strip of cardstock across the middle and stamped my verse. BB buttons make adding embellishments easy - I replaced the O with a button :)
And to give the whole card a bit of dimension, I've popped chipboard in behind the patterned paper to pop it up.
The second card is still simple but this time I added splatters of gold and bronze glimmer spray. I've stamped my images this time in black ink and then coloured them in with coloured pencils, going over some of the image with darker variations of colour to give depth. I've also curled the leaves slightly giving them dimension.
Designer Tip: Shake your spray bottle, then remove the knozzle and drip the spray over your page. You can also use an old toothbrush - dip it in your shaken bottle and pull your finger over the bristles; this gives a very fine spray of colour.
