Hi my dear BoBunny friends!
It's Angela here with you today with a mixed media page featuring the beautiful new Down by the Sea Collection.
The photo is of me and my son Francesco when he was only sixteen months old, during a Spring Break vacation. He was so happy to splash into the water even if it was pretty cold.
What I've made here is to create a cluster of papers and embellishments underneath my photo, to make it stand out.
But not only embellishments. I've used also stencils and pastes to add textures to the page giving it extra interest and to give a nautical flavor.
The beautiful doily you can see under the photo is actually not a doily, but a Mandala craft die, a new BoBunny die which has become my preferred one. it's very easy to use, and extremely versatile for all sort of projects.
Here and there, I simulated the sand using Pentart 3D Powder, adhered with media glue.
To create the waves effect, I cut stripes of papers, folded in half and glued them one to the other. You can see it better in the process video below.
Then, the arrow which points at the journaling:
In fact, the creases of the papers were perfect for some hidden journaling.
What do you think? Do you like my page?
If you'd like to see how I made it, here below is the process video of the layout.
Thanks for stopping by and see you soon.
Love,
Angela
