Christmas Cards with BoBunny Time and Place

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today sharing my first post for December. With Christmas just a few weeks away, I thought I should try and finish my Christmas cards on time this year. And what a better collection to design Christmas (or any type) cards with than "Time and Place" from BoBunny.

To create the bases for the cards I used white cardstock. I used decorative edge punch to shape the long edge of one of the cards and a corner punch - to shape the other.

To create the layers on top, I used pattern paper from the Time and Place collection and Double Dot Damask cardstock. I inked their edges with a brown ink pad and then I distressed them using a paper distresser.

I added a silver dimensional layer on the horizontal cards using stenciling paste and a stickable stencil.

To create the design on the cards I used different images from 12" pattern papers and pre-cut embellishments from the Noteworthy pack. I've adhered everything using foam dimensional dots.

As a final touch I added rhinestones and I sprinkled white shimmering mist on top of all layers.

I hope I managed to inspire you today!

Have a great week!

Washi Tape Scrapbook Layout

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today with my second post for August featuring the astonishing Boulevard collection from BoBunny's newest release. I don't know if you've noticed, but with every new BoBunny collection, there is also an amazing box with different washi tapes matching the collection. This week we are all about washi tape and the different ways to use it, here on BoBunny's blog.

For my background I chose the Boulevard d'Igance pattern paper. Using a stickable stencil and texture paste, I created the silver dimensional pattern around my design.

I cut off different 'paper' snippets from a few of the pattern papers, inked their edges and arranged them as a base for my picture. Before adhering the picture in place, I distressed its edges using a paper distresser and sanding paper.

To give more color to my page, I added die-cut embellishments from red pattern paper and chipboard stickers.

Using the washi tapes matching the collection, I created my very own, tailor made banners for my project.

As a final touch I added rhinestones and silver brads.

I hope you liked my post today!

Come back soon for more inspirational projects from our design team!

Double Dot: Pink Layout with Emmy

Hello BoBunny friends!

Emmy here today sharing a brand new layout with you! For today's project I decided to use the amazing Harmony collection from Bobunny's newest release. The soft colour palette and the wonderful images, make this collection perfect for any occasion page.

To create my background I used two different pattern papers and a Double Dot cardstock. I stamped a pinkish pattern along the edge of the cardstock and I put it aside to dry. I cut a 12 x 30 cm stirpe from the dark pink pattern paper and a 18 x 30 cm stirpe from the lighter one. After distressing their edges, I adhered them on top of the cardstock.

I hid the "stitch" with the sticker from the 12" sticker sheet. Then I added foil accents and a silver dimensional layer using Stencil paste and a Stickable Stencil.

I used a Double Dout Jewels packaging to layer my picture on top of it. Its colours fitted the Harmony collection perfectly and I really loved its texture and design.

To decorate my page I used fussy cut blossoms and dragonflies and pre-cut embellishments from the Noteworthy pack matching the collection.

I also added stickers and bards.

I used BoBunny craft dies and Double Dot cardstock to die cut some more embellishments for my layout.

For my title I used a shimmering Thickers Alphabet matching the collection.

As a final touch I added colorful rhinestones, pearls and rhinestone flourishes.

And here is the YouTube tutorial:

Hello my Dear Crafty Friends! It's Irit here today with a new Mixed Media canvas made with a full video tutorial and the most gorgeous Garden Party new BoBunny collection.

Celebrate Memories Mixed Media canvas by Irit Shalom

This canvas is almost monochromatic as this paper collection is mostly green with a small touch of light brown and black and white colors.
So I left it is these tones and used only the products that were in the perfect colors for this creation.
As you can see this is a real Mixed Media piece of art. I used stencils, stamps, dies, paper cuts, flowers, buttons together with white gesso, crackle paint, glimmer paint, mist, stencil paste and much more.
You can see the full product list in the video tutorial.

Here you can see some of the techniques used to create this canvas: stencil paste over thick stencils; stamping over the canvas; die cutting; stamping over transparency and heat embossing  the stamped images.

Making Paper Look Like Water-with Shizuka

Hello BoBunny fans! It is Shizuka here.

Today I would like to introduce technique of adding texture which imaged the water surface.

[ IN THE RIVER ] 12 x 12 Layout by Shizuka Hirano

This time I used BoBunny's very beautiful Serendipity collection.

First, add a texture using BoBunny's thick Timeless stencil and Pentart stencil paste Peare Ice Flower.
While the stencil paste does not dry, use a palette knife to deliberately stretch the part of the thick stencil paste to collapse.

When the Timeless stencil paste dries, add more texture using BoBunny Backsplash Stencil and Pentart Stencil Paste Metal Silver. At this time as well I extended the shape of the stencil slightly.
When the stencil paste dries, I added color with Frost, Gold and Bronze glimmer mist.

Then I stacked several kinds of pattern paper under the picture and decorated it with BoBunny Tick Tock Die and chipboard.

And I randomly colored with BoBunny Take Note Stamp and added sparkle with Pentart Delicate Acrylic Paint Metallic Bluish Silver and BoBunny Glitter Paste, Confetti Paste Silver.

I hope my work will be helpful for your production.

Thank you!!

Shizuka
