Easter Gift with Angela

Hello BoBunny friends!
Angela here on the blog to show you a new project made with Garden Grove collection and some Double Dot papers but first of all, let me wish you a Happy and Peaceful Easter.

Garden_Grove_Angela_Apr11_01

During these tough days of social distancing, I had a lot of time to play and a lot to think. What I struggle the most is thinking to my old mom all alone in her house. At the moment, I don't know what will be the situation and if we will have the possibility to spend Easter together. For this reason I decided to make a little present to cheer her and her home up.

I created a wreath made of simple DIY flowers and the phrase 'Happy Easter' in the center.
I started  choosing some pretty papers from Garden Grove collection as a base of the wreath. Particularly, I chose paper Spring that has tiny dots in yellow, pink and orange and I cut it in a big scalloped circle of 9 inch diameter.

I cut a second circle of 7 inch out of vellum and centered it on top of the scalloped one.
Following the combo of paper Spring, I picked some Double Dot papers in the same coordinated colors, to create the flowers.

Making this type of flowers is very simple. I cut a circle of about 5 inch diameter. With a pencil, I drew a spiral inside the circle, leaving about 1/4 inch between each line. I cut along the line with a pair of scissors and then, I rolled up, starting from the outside edge. Last, to secure the flower I used hot glue.

The phrase Happy Easter is a combination of a chipboard and letters. Easter is from the Garden Grove chipboard stickers and Happy is made with gold foil foam stickers.

Below the phrase, I added some Easter eggs and a super cute white Easter bunny. I finished embellishing with some colorful butterfly chipboards and a pair of wreath tails on the bottom of the wreath and voilĂ !

Easter Egg Hunt Clues with Elisa

Hi, dear crafty friends!!!

Here is Elisa and today I want to show you my new Easter Project I made using the wonderful Harmony Collection!
I rmade a Mini Album.  It's very little: 3" x 6". But I don't want it to be a normal album for pictures.. I think that it could be very fun to use it as a Hints Book for our next Easter Egg Hunt!!!

We don't have Egghunts in Italy, till now... but I think that it's so fun for children!! A good way to stay in the nature and have fun during a very special Treasure Hunt.
Every treasure hunt needs hints so this is a Hint Book for your egg hunt!!!
Structure is very simple... A normal Hidden Hinge album. I choose color kraft for the structure, because I think that the wonderful pastel colors in Harmony Collection give bast result on this background.

On the cover I used some chipboard sticker flowers, and the Thicker Alphas too. I also used a lot ofthe alpha and numbers dies by BoBunny!!! I love them, and I really wanted to use them all together for this fun book.

Inside you can find 4 pages. I made them with vellum. I also used a strip of the  "Welcome" Harmony patterned paper for hiding the hinge. I embossed on the vellum eggs by the Eggcellent Stamp set in white and I stamped also some grass bushes on the green paper... Fussy cut them... And applied them on my pages!!!

Inside each vellum page, you can find a double cardstock: inside there is a white place where you can write the hint for the EggHunt!!!

BoBunny Supplies:
Harmony Collection 12x12 48 papers pad
Harmony Chipboard Stickers
Eggcellent Stamp
Triple Play Alpha Dies
Triple Play Numbers Dies
All Caps Dies

Other supplies
Harmony AC Thickers
Bazzill Kraft
AC Sticky Thumb

SO I hope you enjoy this project!!
I had a lot of fun making it!!!

Till next time!

Jolanda Meurs

Love the double duty usage of the card kits!
They say great minds think alike and I think both
Jolanda and Robbie have great minds!
Robbie also used a card kit, the Alora one this time,
to create the most darling lil' gift bags
that anyone would love getting.
(I wouldn't even care if it was empty it's so cute)

Look how much character a little doodling can add to your projects.
Thanks for stopping by today...  and don't forget, don't limit yourself to Easter.
Think big... Birthdays, Showers, Mother's/Father's Day, Any holiday or just because.
Paper projects and gifts are so much more personal and people tend to hold onto them
longer than store bought gifts.

Also... You still have a couple days to subscribe to our YouTube channel and be entered
to WIN the Country Garden Mini Album kit.

Blast Off and Vicki B. Combo Stickers and Chipboard Stickers, Vicki B. Jewels

Designer Notes: This is a super simple, made in minutes project - -
thanks to Bo Bunny's chipboards!!! My daughter wanted me to decorate
her and her brother's eggs so we altered them together.
Good thing she let me take pictures of them coz' when I returned them to her,
they're gone right away!!! They did give me back the paper decors though,
I will recycle and make cards out of them soon. LOL!!!

Easter Wishes

Supplies List: Double Dot Cardstock in Kiwi, Citrus, Coffee and Mint Dot;

Easter Bunny Baskets

Designed by: Robbie Herring

Supplies: Double Dot Designs Coffee Stripe;
Double Dot Cardstock in Coffee Dot, Ocean Dot, Wasabi Dot,
Buttercup Dot, Citrus Dot, and Blush Dot;
Double Dot Ribbon in Concord, Kiwi and Butter Cup

Designer Tip: I made the woven pieces all at the same time.
I did the weaving on top of a 4 1/2 by 8 inch piece of cardstock.
I then cut them into 1 1/2 by 8 inch strips to make the baskets.
The weaving was done with 1/4 inch strips of the Coffee Striped paper.
Be sure to use enough tape underneath to hold all the strips in place when you cut.

Easter Bunny Carrots

Designed by: Patti Milazzo

Supplies: Ad Lib Improv, Pebbles and Wild Thing Patterned Papers;
Ad Lib Combo Stickers, Ad Lib Jewels,
Blast Off! Arcade Patterned Paper,
Double Dot Cardstock in Citrus Dot and Avocado Dot,
Double Dot Ribbon 3/8” in Kiwi

Patti used the sour cream container idea as my inspiration for these paper carrot containers.

Designer Tips:
-Carrots can be made to any size, I created mine a bit taller and
thinner to resemble carrots.
For the large carrots, I cut my paper to 5”w x 6”h and
for the smaller carrot, I cut it to 4”w x 5”h.
-I crimped the Double Dot Avocado Cardstock and
cut a fringe to create the green carrot tops.
-To hang the carrot containers, punch a hole near the bottom of the
green carrot top and insert the fold of the ribbon to
create a loop in the back, then tie a bow in the front.
