RAWR by Ilene Tell

Yep, still scrapping like crazy with this this colorful collection! I just low how perfect it is for a little boy, and it fit this pic of my son with his new red dragon so well. I can't get enough of the "All-Star" sheet - I use it to cut out the letters, and here, I used it for the number "5" on the bottom right. So useful.

I did some doodling to emphasize some of the elements and edges, and traced around the monster on the bottom left so it wouldn't fade too much into the background. I also used a bunch of foam adhesive to pop up some of the elements, and even the photo itself, so the chipboard chevron line could fit well under it.

In the image below, do you see the really pretty colorful "leaves" I added to the flowers? They're actually cut out from the "Our Lil' Monster" sheet - they're the trees, and I cut them in a leaf shape, making sure the "veins" faced in the right direction. That's another thing I love about this collection - there are so many great images, so if you like layering or fussy cutting, then this is definitely for you!

Woof Woof! by Megan Gourlay

When I first spied the Happy Tails collection I was so excited!  I had the perfect excuse now to start scrapping my two fur babies :)  This collection is full of bright bold colors, tied together muted creams and off whites that just scream dogs, or cats for that matter ;)

Its not often I create double layouts, but when I have multiple photos that I want to use, but don't want to detract from the design of the page, and still include journalling, then double layouts are the best way to go. Particularly if there is a story to tell - and there was this day!  Neither of them would co-operate this day, look at that resigned look on their wee faces lol.

The chipboard word I've used for my title has been painted with a light coat of gesso, stamped with a script stamp and then edged for definition with black ink.

A mixture of chipboard embellishments, buttons and jewels, topped off with a piece of Noteworthy created a fun cluster in the corner. Layering  chipboard embellishments also creates depth and adds interest to the page.

Designer Tip: Misc Me is also great not just for pocket style scrapbooking, Ive incorporated a piece of into my layout - can you spot it?

Monstrous Fun by Ulrika Wandler

These mini albums are perfect! I love them alot! I chose to use this one for old pictures of my two sons. I started off by decorating the front page.

The album is so colorful! I tried to pick out the most colorful pictures of my sons.

I made some of the embellishments myself using a couple of different circle punches and a star punch.

I wrote my journaling on the computer and printed it out and then I cut them in stripes.

I think it's a great way to preserve random pictures putting them in a mini album!

I was so excited to work with the "Our Little Monster" mini album! Our youngest son always seems to make really fun and silly faces whenever the camera comes out, so this was the perfect album to capture them in.

There are quite a number of collage photos throughout the album and the Noteworthy elements helped pull everything together. You can see the entire album on my blog.

RAWR by Juliana Michaels

I know the Our Lil' Monster collection is geared toward boys, but I couldn't resist using it with this photo of my niece pretending to be a monster! To me, it just goes to show how versatile a collection can be even if you think it might not be.

I used several of the monster die cuts from the Noteworthy pack and dressed them up with some jewels, stickers and other die cuts.

To create my title piece, I fussy cut the "Rawr" from the Rawr patterned paper and adhered it to a scrap of chipboard. I then added glitter glue to the letters for added sparkle and a touch of fun!

This monster head was fussy cut as well from the Rawr patterned paper. I couldn't resist adding him to the bottom of the page. I think it makes it look like my niece is being joined by a whole group of monsters who are ready to "Rawr" and make some noise!

If you are interested in more Our Lil' Monster, stop by my blog for another scrapbook page I made using it with a photo of my other niece: Mommy's Lil' Monster.

Simple Pleasures by Megan Gourlay

I love the bright colours of the Lil Monster collection!  I had this photo of my Godson Jack shelling home grown board beans with his Granddad, that I had been wondering how to scrap.   It has so many bright colours in it, I had stuck it in the too hard pile. However, when Lil Monster came out I knew it was perfect!

By separating my blossoms one flower went a long way!

Inking the edges of each strip of paper with black ink added definition, and cutting the chipboard strip of stars meant they were more versatile. The combo stickers provided the perfect pieces of journalling too.
