Scribble Technique with the Believe Collection!

Hi BoBunny fans today I am here to share some cards I created using a simple scribble technique. I will show you how you can create your own cards or in fact any project with this technique.

Happy Day Card by Tracee Provis

Using the Scribble technique I created both the flowers and my sentiment, I also cannot stop using the gorgeous Believe collection. All you need to create your own flowers or sentiments are patterned paper, a fine marker pen or pencil, some scissors to fussy cut with.

Start by drawing a rough outline of your flower, it doesn't have to be really neat. Keep drawing over the outlines until they become thicker, if you have gaps you can add some pen strokes until you are happy they are filled in. Take your scissors and cut around the outline.

Once you have cut them out you can add jewels or pearls to the centers. These Double Dot Citrus Jewels coordinate perfectly with the oranges and yellows in the Believe Collection.

Cut flowers from different colours and patterns in the collection. Of course with this technique you aren't just limited to flowers. here I also used the scribble style to form my sentiment, simply scribble your lines so that each letter is almost overlapping, then cut around.

Love Card by Tracee Provis

For this card I chose to scribble and cut heart shapes, I used the Love die from the Love Squared Set and gave it a border using my fine pen. I stamped the script writing just a little wider than my die cut frame to add a little interest, yet keeping it simple. Some torn paper finished off my card.

New Beginning Card by Tracee Provis

Changing collections for this card I used the Secret Garden Collection. I took these stems from the Doodle Blooms set and masked off the areas I didn't want on my card, I used my colouring pencils to fill in the leaves and I added a line down the stem too. I wanted my flowers to be growing out of the ground and I used the Grass Die that comes from the Bike Ride Set.

I used lots of layers behind my flower panel and I drew an outline around the edge of each one to create a sort of a busy illusion. Some white Double Dot Pearls were added to the centers of the     flowers. I hope you like this simple easy way to create flowers hearts and in fact anything you wish. Thank you for joining me today.
                                                                Til next time....

Marvelous Mixed Media Layout!

Hi BoBunny fans today I am here with a simple layout using the bright and beautiful Believe Collection, I teamed this with a few of BoBunny's newest mixed media products with great results.

Live in the moment scrapbook page tracee provis bo bunny believe 01

I started by applying a thin layer of Crackle Paste Primer to my page, after allowing it to dry I then applied the Crackle Paste and watched the magic as the crackles appeared. once it was all dry I flicked a little Frost Glimmer Spray around.

I also created a glitter textured layer using some Licorice Glitter Paste, here is a small tutorial below of how I did it.

Take your chosen stencil, I used the Flower Power stencil. A palette knife, or something to smooth your Glitter Paste on with and of course your pot of Glitter Paste.

Because the piece of patterned paper I was using was smaller than the stencil, I chose to use a glass cutting board to work on. This way the excess paste can be easily wiped up.

Spread the Glitter Paste over the stencil, then immediately remove the stencil and clean. Simple, you then have a glittery piece to use as a layer behind your photo.

I fussy cut some clouds from the Faith sheet, I used one of them to write some simple journaling on. I stamped a few random stars using a small star stamp from the Amen Stamp Set.

I fussy cut these flowers from another of the patterned sheets then blinged them up by adding a Double Dot gem or rhinestone in the centre. My title "Live In The Moment", is a ticket that I cut from the Divine sheet. The colours in this collection are so vibrant and happy they give every project you create a feel good factor.

I used a lot of stamps along with the super, foil rub-ons.

Here's a closer look at some of the beautiful rub-ons.

This foil transfer was so perfect for this photo of my husbands aunt.  She is well into her 80's and is sprightly and so much fun! Such a delight! ;-)

One thing that I did find out very quickly is that these rub-ons are very adhesive and so one really does need to make sure of their placement! ;-)

1 Layout 3 Ways with Believe!

Hello Everyone

It's Denise here today, to share my "one layout three ways" and the fabulous new Graphite glitter paste from BoBunny!

My first layout has a very clean and simple design.

Mixed Media Layout by Denise van Deventer using BoBunny Graphite Glitter Paste and the Believe Collection

I used the Graphite glitter paste through a stencil on the big pink flower circle.

On the second layout I added some mixed media touches, some paint splatters and some stamping, along with some buttons.

I added some more Graphite glitter paste on the other 2 flower circles.

In the last and final layout, I added some silhouette stamping and added some little bits and bobs, here and there.

I also used a black fine liner to outline some of the elements.

Here's a closer look at the Graphite glitter stenciling. It adds a nice amount of bling, but not too much.

Wall Decor & Card with Believe!

Hi Everyone!

Today I have two little mixed media projects to share with you that uses the new Believe collection and the very cute new Icons Stamps :)

Believe Collection & Icon Stamps Project by Megan Gourlay for BoBunny

My first project to share with you is a wall hanging.

I've taken two elements from the chipboard set and layered these on top of the packaging from the buttons! The packaging from this particular collection already had a mixed media look to it so I simply added to it by splattering white gesso and Mint Glimmer Spray. Using a few of the Icons stamps finished off the background of my project :)

I've created depth by layering chipboard - there's actually six layers to this project!  I've also given the butterflies a little glitz using the Sugar Glitter Paste.

My second project is a birthday card.  This time I dry brushed gesso over the back ground paper and then added glitter paste with the new Flower Power stickable stencil.

The Icon pieces that I used I simply stamped and then die cut, adding chipboard underneath to make them pop.  I've also coloured the present in using pearlescents :)

I love how this card reminds me of the 70's - :)  thanks for popping by!

Believe Misc Me 8x9 Binder

Good Morning! How's everyone's Monday going? I'm having an awesome day because today I get to share the new Believe Collection with you along with the new Amen Stamp set.

Be The Light 8x9 Misc.Me by Lynn Shokoples

The first thing I did was get out all the elements and my Misc.Me binder and decorate the cover. The saying was in the Noteworthy package along with the flowers, and the little flowers came from the Layered Chipboard pack. It didn't take long for this fun bright album to get done.

Now for all the pages! I love the 8x9 pages where the pocket squares fit perfectly into the sleeves. It's a lot of fun choosing which cards to use, when you want to use them all!!!! Then there are the Amen Stamps. Oh my word I am in love with those. I stamped every card, lol. I just can't get enough of this collection.

The Amen Stamp went along so nicely with all the cards. There is always room for a little stamping I say! Some I left with the black ink and some I traced around the word for some added pop.

Stamping is a great way to jazz up the little pocket cards.

Hello! Today I'll share with you some projects using decoupage paper from Believe collection.
The colors of this collection are amazing and decoupage paper is so fun!
I recycled glass jars and pots with decoupage paper:

I covered a glass jar with acrylic gesso and I cut out some flowers from Believe decoupage to glue them on the jar:

Another variation is this plastic pot:

I used decoupage paper and I also added Believe stickers, and some cut outs from Believe papers.

Inspirational Believe Canvas!

Wednesday greetings to you, For my assignment today, I went off the page creating some inspirational home decor on two 5x7 flat canvas panels featuring our new Believe collection.

Inspirational Canvas Home Decor by Rhonda Van Ginkel

Inspirational Panel Canvas Home Decor featuring Believe Collection and Keeping Tabs Die for BoBunny designed by Rhonda Van Ginkel

To begin, I used Frost Glimmer Spray and painted around the edges of both panels. I then went back and touched some Mint Glimmer Spray along the borders where my paper edges also have green accents.

Next, I selected my pattern paper "Amen", and trimmed to fit. I adhered with Mod Podge. I selected a few of my favorite inspirational quotes in the collection from Noteworthy and the Chipboard. To accent the bible verse sentiment, I cut a tab using a Keeping Tabs Die from the "Marvelous" paper, then added a Clear Sticker to accent it.

The second panel featuring a Noteworthy bible verse sentiment topped off with a Chipboard ribbon accent. To finish, I punched holes and attached the canvas with ribbon to hang together vertically. I love the bright vibrant colors and inspirational feel of this line!
