Faith collection and Pentart Patina Effects-with Angela

Hi everyone!
It's Angele here and welcome to another series of One Layout 3 Ways.
For my page I used this BoBunny paper from Faith collection, Devotion, isn't it amazing? It seams like a zentangle paper. Most of all it reminds me of Basquiat paintings, its drawings and doodles has
inspired me to make this page.
First of all I composed a cluster of papers underneath my photo and I covered it using a few pieces of foil vellum. I loved the quote of the upper one and I chose it as title of my page "Be led by your dreams"
Then I decided to give a touch of gold all over the page using a VersaMark liner and the Gold Patina Effect Powder by Pentart.
Here is the way One of the layout:

Then I proceeded embellishing the page using a few chipboards, stickers and a few elements fussy cut from Faith Rejoice paper.
As you can see below, the paper is pretty finished, but I decided to move a step forward.
This is way Two:

My intention was to try, and I underline 'try', to achieve a messy Basquiat effect, so I took my Pentart Acrilics and I dropped them all over the page.
That's the result, way Three:

I absolutely adored to make this page, it was like journaling led by my emotions.

Here is where I've hidden my journaling, inside an accordion of tags, closed by a piece of twine.

The Layout is made by interactive elements that can be opened, the tags:

the foil vellum with the quote:

and the last piece of vellum that reveals the photo underneath:

Faith and Patina Effects by Pentart with Ulrika

Easter Party by Ulrika Wandler

Hi! I'm inviting you to an Easter party! I have lots of eggs and some candy for you! Let me show you what I made for the party using BoBunnys gorgeous new collection, Faith.

I would also like to show you the Pentart products to use for making a patina effect.

Easter Party Alter by Ulrika Wandler using BoBunny Faith Collection

To make the egg and the small wooden tray look aged I used these great products.

First apply a good layer of white gesso and immediately dust a very small amount Patina Effect Powder on it. The easiest technique is to load just a teeny bit of the powder on the tip of the spatula, then tap it very very gently so just a light dusting of the powder falls onto the wet gesso. It can be evenly distributed but is actually not totally necessary since the finished look is somewhat uneven when done. Use a spatula to spread the powder in the gesso, again, unevenly is best. Then use the droppers of reagents to make the final touch. There are three colors, so use some of each to achieve the right look and feel

You can watch this tutorial (after you see the rest of the blog, of course!) on how to use these products:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOM2VRufVYs

This is my egg. I added some Gold Antique Paste and Gold Glitter Paste on it once it was dry.

The wooden tray turned out perfectly, with a gorgeous antique copper patina.  Wasn't that simple and fun?

These sweet candy bags got that little extra special touch with some die cut butterflies!

This is a carrot... Can you see it? It's orange, and it has that green stuff on top. A carrot! *giggle*

Make a Splash with accents of Iron paste by Pentart with Ayumi

Hello Bo Bunny Friends,
Today I will introduce a paper frame and easel featuring the Make a Splash collection from Bo Bunny with Pentart Iron Paste.

Fun Paper Frame

First, I will prepare the easel, with Iron Paste (Gray) and Transparent Wax Paste.

Apply to easel.

The look of the wooden easel is dramatically changed by painting it with gray Iron Paste.

Then, using a little ingenuity and my scoring tool, I will make a paper frame.

The red line is a folding line . . . .

Fold along the red dotted lines

And I also used bits and pieces of the Layered Chipboard package.  I fussy cut the palm tree, and the Most people throw this away, but the design is cute enough to use on a project!

I drew a dot pattern with a Sparkling Gold Contour Liner.
It finishes gorgeously.

Thanks for joining me today.

Have a fabulous day!

Make A Splash and Pentart Iron Paste with Katherine

Hello, Katherine here with some party ideas using the really cute Make a Splash collection, don't the penguins just make you smile?

I've created this little treat boxes that you could use for parties, or just little gifts...or maybe Easter eggs, jelly beans, or just chocolate.

Gift Box Party by Katherine Sutton using BoBunny Make a Splash

The 6" pad is the perfect size for this project, here is a little tutorial to explain how I made them, and also to give you a few of my favourite tips.

Gift Box Party by Katherine Sutton using BoBunny Make a Splash

Take your 6" piece of paper and then score at 2 7/8" and 5 3/4"

Gift Box Party by Katherine Sutton using BoBunny Make a Splash

Fold and crease the score lines, add some tape (any good double sided tape works well) along the 1/4" flap on the patterned side.

Gift Box Party by Katherine Sutton using BoBunny Make a Splash

Add a piece of double sided tape what will become the bottom edge of the box (don't worry about the top edge as we secure this with ribbon later).  My top tip here, is before sticking, just bend up a small part of the double sided tape backing paper and fold it out as in the photo.  Then fold your 6" paper along the centre score line and stick it together using that 1/4" flap.  You then need to seal the bottom piece of your box, so this is where you will notice you have that little bit of backing paper sticking out, so you just pull it and you'll be able to seal the bottom really easily.

At the open end of the box, bend the top so that  it makes a diamond shape and push the 2 sides together.

Hold the 2 sides together and punch 2 holes in them - this is where you will secure the top with some ribbon, so they are easy to open.

I created tags using the Vacation paper and trimming them to be a tag shape.  To add a bit more glamour I also cut out several penguins from the Lazy Days paper and added some sparkle with the Pentart Iron Paste, it has a more subtle look than the glitter, but gives the black skin of the penguins a really nice shimmer.

I attached he tags with twine to the top hole, and just played layering up lots of cut-outs to make each pack individual.

They are really easy to open and you can fill them with all sorts of goodies!

Petal Lane and Pentart Antique Paste with Rhonda

Sunday Funday Gift with Rhonda

BoBunny Gift Sunday Funday Altered Clipboard featuring Petal Lane and Pentart Antique Paste designed by Rhonda Van Ginkel

Happy Sunday Funday crafty friends, it's Rhonda here today to share with you a crafty gift project, an altered clipboard that I created featuring Petal Lane and Pentart Antique Paste in Gold.

To begin, I coated the edges of the clipboard with some Pentart Primer Gesso in white and let dry. Once dry, I added a layer of the Pentart Crackle Primer 1 on top and let completely dry.  Then, I added a layer of the Pentart Crackle Primer 2 in Victorian Rose and allowed to dry overnight. It provides that aged bit of crackling on the very border that coordinates to the paper collection.

While the products were drying I then went through my papers and selected my favorites to cover the clipboard with. I trimmed to size, used a 1/4" corner rounder on the corners and got them ready to adhere.

Once I had trimmed out a template for the clamp of my clipboard shape, I was ready to adhere the paper.  I used Pentart Gel Paste to adhere my papers to the clipboard. In between the top and the bottom sections, you will see that I layered a medium doily and on top of that a bit of cheese cloth.

Once that was dry, I used a dry brush and accented the doilies with the Antique Paste in Gold. It gives the perfect touch of a gentle shimmer. Some stamping randomly was done, then added Glimmer Spray splatters in Bronze, Tutu, Sugar and Gold as well as some Tutu Glitter Paste using the polka dot Brocade Stickable Stencil.

I really wanted to focus on keeping this project useful so the Stamping, Ink Splatters, Clear Stickers and Noteworthy items were perfect to add the right amount of texture without removing functionality for the clipboard.

Faith and Pentart Lasur Gel Indoor/Outdoor with Amy

Hello Bo Bunny Friends,

Amy here again with the Faith Collection and Pentart Lasur Paint.
There are so many fun things you can do!

Have you tried Pentart Lasur Paint for Indoor use yet? Its great for staining those wood veneer pieces you have stored up in your stash. This piece had one coat of Lasur Paint and then I was immediately able to stamp over it.

You can also use the the paint with a little water for your Misc Me cards.  It's a great way to create backgrounds. Faith is perfect for creating clusters around. Mix with a little water. then stamp over it

The Faith collection is perfect for Easter photos. Try and mimick similar images whether with a stamp or with some of the useful Noteworty pieces to tie in all the different colours.

I hope you enjoyed this look at my Easter Misc Me layout using Faith and some fun Pentart supplies!

Make a Splash and Pentart Indoo/Outdoor Lasur with Solange

Hello Everyone!! It's Solange Marques here and today I'll share with you One Layout-Three Ways.

Here we can see three different stages of creative process. I've used the fun paper collection "Make a Splash".

For the first stage, I've just extended the blue of the water on the photo on the background using acrylic paints.  I've also applied Pentart Lasur on the stencil. This technique allows the fishes to be slightly transparent, to see the background color through the green.

On the second stage, I've painted some wood pieces using Pentart Lasur and I've added them on the layout .

Finally I've added some cut outs from "Make a Splash"  collection , clear stickers and drops of watercolor:
