Say I Love You Mom with DIY Cards

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today sharing my first project for May. Since Mother's Day is approaching this week is all about honoring all the mums out there. For my post I've decided to create cards using the amazing Count the Ways collection from BoBunny.

The bases for my cards I took from the Boxed Cards Set "Tuxedos & Tiaras". For the layers on top I used a smaller panel from white cardstock and an even smaller panel from pinkish pattern paper. I added extra pattern on the pink panel for my second card using clear stamp and brown ink. Then I inked their edges with brown ink and adhered them together using mounting foam tape. I added extra pattern on the pink panel for my second card using clear stamp and brown ink.

Once all the layers were secured I started decorating my cards. I die cut and fussy cut different embellishments from pattern paper and I added chipboard stickers from the chipboard set matching the collection.

For the word MOM I die cut the letter using pattern paper and BoBunny's Triple Play Alpha Die. I added also stripes of washi tape.

As a final touch I added pink rhinestones and I splashed some white shimmering mist on top of all layers.

I hope I managed to inspire you today!

Happy & In Love Mini Album by Denise

Hello BoBunny Fans

It's Denise here today to share a little mini album with you, using the beautiful and hearty Count the Ways collection.

I created this little album from scratch, using thick cardboard, some cardstock and then all the soft and beautiful patterned papers from Count the Ways.

I also handmade some flowers from BoBunny cardstock, to add to the front of this album.

On the top of the cover, I also added a soft and romantic brad.

So opening up the album, this is how it looks inside.

On the left hand side I created a little booklet that opens up with many pages and on the right hand side I created a flap booklet. I have added little bits and pieces here and there but have left lots of space for photo's and journalling.

Here's a closer look at the flap booklet.

If one opens the left hand booklet, then this is what it looks like.

The little album isn't too big or bulky and is small enough to fit in a handbag. I will also keep the contents quite flat so that it does not add bulkiness.

Thanks ever so much for stopping by the BoBunny blog today! I hope that I gave you some seeds of inspiration and that you might try a little booklet for your loved one too!

We really hope to see you back tomorrow.

Have a super and hearty day!
Denise x

Our Favorite Memory Layout with Count the Ways

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today sharing my first project for February. Since it is the week of St Valentine, I thought I would use the amazing Count the Ways collection from BoBunny and a picture I really like of me and my two kids.

For my background I used two different pattern papers. I cut off 1 cm from each side of the lighter paper, inked its edges with brown ink and adhered it on top of the darker pattern paper.

To soften the colors of the paper design, I used white gesso on a large area in the middle of it. Once the gesso has dried, I added extra pattern using clear stamps and brown ink pad. As a final touch I sprinkled glimmer mist on top.

I layered my picture on a slightly larger panel of pinkish pattern paper and used different fussy cut images to create the layers under it.

I fussy cut a lot of cute images to decorate my page further. The banner under my picture I created from snippets from different pattern papers.

As a final touch I added rhinestones and chipboard stickers from the sticker sheet matching the paper line.

I hope I managed to inspire you today!

Count The Ways Layout with Emmy

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today sharing another project I created for BoBunny's blog. To design this layout I used one of BoBunny's newest collections - Count the Ways. I just love the colour palette and all the cute embellishments of this paper line.

I cut off 0.5 cm from each side of the pattern paper, inked its edges and adhered it on top of the pink cardstock. Using clear stamps set and brown ink I created the 'frame' around my design. Then I splashed some shimmering mist on top.

I layered my picture on a sheet of pattern paper from the 6 x 8" paper pad and a slightly larger panel of 12" pattern paper. I adhered all the layers using mounting foam tape.

To decorate my page I used fussy cut embellishments from pattern paper, chipboard and cardboard stickers.

For my title I used a chipboard phrase sticker.

As a final touch I added pink rhinestones.

I hope I managed to inspire you today!

Have a great week!

Valentine's Day Puzzle Project with A Surprise!

Hi crafty friends!!

Elisa here! So, next Friday is Valentine's Day!!! And today I want to share with you a special project - a funny and technological gift for my hubby!
And of course, the Count the Ways collection was perfect for this!

Here you can see the outside: it seems like a simple gift box,
with a romantic layout on the front, of course!!!

As embellishments for the cover I used Chipboard Stickers, Cardstock Stickers and a pink Resin Rose.

Not only hearts and roses, but also a wonderful butterfly!!!

As sentiments, I chose XoXo and True Love (both Chipboard Stickers)

And now let's open the box!!!
Slip off the red stripe (I glued the front layout to it):

And let's have a look to the inside!!!

The base is a shadow box. Inside the shadow box, we have 15 little square boxes. Under the box, I glued a magnet sheet, and there is a little magnet inside every box.... So, we can solve this 15 piece puzzle together!

Inside every box, there is a candy. Of course, it's a Valentine Gift box.

But inside every box there is also a piece of picture, with us!!! And you can see the whole picture when you finish the 15 puzzle and you open all the covers.

But... At the beginning of this post I told you that this is also a technological box. Would you like to know why!?
Inside every little box cover, there is a QRcode!
(the code you see in the picture links to BoBunny blog, but I put in the boxes for my Hubby the links to our favorite songs, places and a special vocal message for this Valentine's Day!)

BoBunny supplies:
Count the Ways 12"x 12" Pad
Count the Ways Bouquet Cardstock
Count the Ways Forever Cardstock
Count the Ways 12"x 12" Chipboard Stickers with foil
Count the Ways 6"x 12" Cardstock Stickers
Count the Ways Resin Hearts

I hope you enjoy my project!!
