Gorgeous Cards!

Hello, hello everyone! You are going to love these gorgeous cards today! So intricate and detailed...they will have you running to grab some paper and start some of your own!

Happy B Day You by Amy Voorthuis

When I saw I was designing in the stamp week I got really excited! I love stamping especially with the BoBunny stamps. The base of my card is made with the Coffee sheet from the Double Dot range this card has four layers.

I made this card for my husband he was born in 1971 don't you just love those circle number stamps?

Distressing the borders of the four layers is what I think makes it all look very shabby.

The flower with the hash-tag brad was handmade using the plain Kraft Gift bags. I took out my It Is Written stamp and just randomly stamped on my cut out circles. Then I sprayed them with water & gold glimmer spray and wrinkle my six circle {in three different sizes} up and you have a flower.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Passage, Antiquity, Evening Mist/Somewhere In Time
Double Dot: Coffee
Stamps: Stitches, It Is Written, You're Invited, Inline Alpha, Captured
Doilies: Small
Kraft Gift Bag: Plain
Kraft Wood: Clocks
Blossoms: Buttercup Bouquet, Denim Blue Zinnia
Brads: Somewhere In Time
Glimmer Spray: Gold, Sugar

Hello You by Amy Voorthuis

The design of this card is quite similar to my first card; it also has four layers. When I got my DT package with the Enchanted Garden collection in it, it was the first collection I cut into which is sometimes really hard to do. I cut out the butterflies first then I didn't look at it for a long time and they were laying all around my scrap room but now they finally have a purpose were it should be on a card.

The three squares are made with a Cheery Lynn Designs die. I stamped on the squares with the music stamp & stitch stamp, then I took out my stickable stencil and pasted on top of the squares then I finished it of with the mint, gold and sugar glimmer spray.

On the right side of the squares I stamped the largest Curly Q stamp and went over it with the butterscotch pearlescents pen to make little pearls.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Enchanted Garden, Pathway, Fantasy, Periodical/Enchanted Garden
Double Dot: Island Mist
Double Dot Jewels: Emerald
Stamps: Stitches, It Is Written, You're Invited, To The Point, Curly Q
Glimmer Spray: Gold, Sugar, Mint
Pearlescents: Butterscotch
Stickable Stencils: Brocade

Celebrate Today by Denise van Deventer

To create the mixed media effect, I used gesso, paints and water spritsing, and then added stamping and inking. The colouring of this collection was the inspiration for this card, as I wanted this greens and purples to shine.

The new BoBunny stamps are just fabulous and are so perfect for mixed media.

I love that one can always mix and match BoBunny products.  I used Woodland Winter chipboard swirls and they were perfect for this card.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Fantasy, Fairies/ Enchanted Garden
Cardstock: Lavendar, Caribbean/ Double Dot
Jewels: Fright Delight ; Zip A Dee Doodle
Chipboard: 12x12 / Woodland Winter
Stamps: Gateway ; Stitches
Blossoms: Plum Purple Daisy
Doilies: 4" small
Ephemera: Enchanted Garden

For You by Denise van Deventer

For the mixed media effect here, I first adhered some drywall tape and then stencilling with gesso, and then lastly some painting and spritsing.

Here is a close-up of the drywall tape.  It's a wonderful thing to use, to add texture and is also already tacky, so adhere's easily.

The BoBunny products are perfect for mixed media.  The papers are lovely and thick and the embelishments tacky for good adherence.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Glam, Authentic/ Modern Miss
Carstock: Island Mist Dot
Stickers: Combo Sticker, Cardstock Sticker/ Modern Miss
Noteworthy: Modern Miss
Jewels: Modern Miss
Chipboard: 12x12 / Modern Miss
Blossoms: Wildberry Daisy

Travel well by Agnieszka Bellaidea

For my TRAVEL WELL card I used mix of new and older collection because I find it so great that Bo Bunny collections play well together. With a little help of gesso and mists I added a mixed media touch without changing much the style of the papers and without changing colors.

I used my stencil over layers of several papers  and let it dry.

I made sure my mist has the very same color the paper with hearts has.

I did not stitched this time but still used my treads as a ribbon.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Keepsake, Evening Mist / Somewhere in Time ; Bold / Modern Miss ; Miracle /Baby Bump
Jewels: Modern Miss
Doilies: 4" small

Fairy dance by Agnieszka Bellaidea

Enchanted Garden , another fantastic collection for all entusiasitic people who more  / or less/ believe in fairies .

I never meet one but maybe there is still a chance? For now I like to relax in my garden while fussy cutting elements form this collection.  I know that Noteworthy , Emhemera, chipboards and Brads are also great way to add interesting elements to your cards or pages.

You can see I used more stencils with gesso and mist, hand stitched corners  and add a tape .

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Fairies , Imagine  / Enchanted Garden ; Great Expectations /Baby Bump
Cardstock; New Lavender Dot
Noteworthy : Primrose
Jewels: Frosting Jewels,
Doilies: 6" medium

Just Because by Amy Voorthuis

The Enchanted Garden collection is a delight to work with, the stone paper is so pretty and it's full off my favorite colors light teal and pretty purple. First I used a Cheery Lynn die for the base of my card then I layered lighter paper from the 6 x 6 paper pad on top of it.

After that I colored the corners with two shades of purple. I pasted my stencil on top of the corners and then colored my past with teal paint and glimmer mist (purple)
For the finishing touch I made a flower and added some pretty feathers behind my flower.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Imagine, Periodical, Spellbound/ Enchanted Garden
Double Dot Paper: Lavender
6 x 6 Paper Pad: Enchanted Garden
Brads: Enchanted Garden
Jewels: Glaze, Baby Bump

Hello You by Amy Voorthuis

For my second card I wanted to go more manly but that didn't work at all *grin* just loving flowers so much. The base of my card is a double dot {Aquamarine}one on top of that one I used the golden page from the "Somewhere In Time" collection.

If you can get you hands on some BoBunny clear stamps please do they are so awesome to work with, here I used four different kinds. I also love to stitch on my cards but with the NEW stamps you don't really need to anymore.

I find that the "harlequin" stencil are kind off manly so on the card I pasted them in the lower right corner and I treated my past the same way as on my first card with paint and glimmer mist.

6 x 6 Paper Pad: Somewhere In Time
