Good Morning Everyone! Our theme this week is "What do you do in the summertime?". Well I know one thing for certain, here in Canada, summer is short, so we fit in as much as we can! So today I would love to share with you some of the things that my family does.

Find Your Paradise by Lynn Shokoples

Find Your Paradise by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny featuring the Boardwalk Collection

I started off by making a cover for my 12x12 Misc. Me binder. I used one of the 12x12 patterned sheets from the collection along with some of the Noteworthy pieces. Then I tucked in some of the Pocket Squares from the collection. I wanted a fun and bright cover for my album. The border stickers from the Combo Sticker Sheet helped hold the cover in place.

For my pockets, I used the cards from the Journal Contents pack. So many fun ones to choose from! Then the fun begins of decorating each card. I wanted to keep a theme on my photos so I used the letter stickers from the Combo Sticker sheet to make words about some of the activities we do in the summer. Then came the Noteworthy pieces which get tucked here and there. Now out came the layered chipboard.. oh my... how cute are those pieces? I loved the pockets squares, so I made one card using six of them!! The quotes were just too sweet and I wanted to use them all. I finished off with some stamping using the Captured Stamp Set.

Pocket scrapping is such a fun way of doing a whole bunch of little layouts in one project. I look at each card as a mini layout. How do you do your pocket pages?

See what I mean by those little pockets squares with the sayings on them? Just perfect for summer fun photos.

Using multiple elements help give your cards dimension and lots of fun things to look at.

Summer picnic by Ulrika Wandler

I used some old soda plastic bottles and gave them a new look.

I took off the label and used it as a template for a new one!

I also made some bag tops for two plastic bags.

Just measure the width of the bags, and decide how high they should be.

Chalk the edges.

Then I made some decorations for the bottles and the bag tops using Misc Me-cards and some patterned paper.

Party Time with Juliet!

Hi BoBunny Fans!

This week we've been sharing with you some fun party ideas, and today I thought I would show you a few inexpensive ideas that you could use for your next party, using the beautiful Juliet collection!

Party decorations by Megan Gourlay using Juliet by BoBunny

Mason jars are popular to alter at the moment and while I didn't have any on hand, I've altered a variety of jars and a tin I did have. Again, inexpensive but they can easily be altered into something beautiful with a few embellishments.

The tin has a piece of paper wrapped around it, and then I've layered two strips of paper layered on top of each other before adding embellishments.  In this case, BoBunny flourish jewels and blossoms.  The wee mini milk bottle was more simple. The same design of using the strips of paper and I've fussy cut the fleur de lis from one of the pocket cards for my blossom to adhere to.  For the final jar I played around a bit with strips of paper that I've stuck together in the middle and curled with the edge of my scissors, and sprayed with gold Glimmer Spray. For its centre I've used the 'flower' from the jewel flourishes.

I've filled my little jars with pin wheel decorations and coloured pencils that I've covered with paper from the 6x6 pad. You could also attach a small banner to each with the attendees names on them!

Finally, the table setting.  Napkin folding can be really clever and can complete the look of your table - why not use paper to make your utensil holder instead of a napkin?  I've taken a 12x12 piece of paper and folded it in an easy design to make mine.

Searching round on Pinterest I found this fun design for a decoration.  Its super easy to make and its inexpensive, just one piece of paper per design - I've made mine in three different sizes, 12" 10" and 8".

Boardwalk Beach Bash!

Hello BoBunnies!

It's Denise here today, to show you some party decor that I made with the fun and summery Boardwalk Collection!

Party Items/Decor by Denise van Deventer using the BoBunny Boardwalk Collection

I went with the idea of beach huts and some garlands, which I thought would be super for a beach themed party.  I used a template from Inspire Me Papers here, which you can go and download.

These little beach huts are super cute and were really fun and easy to make.

On the side of the first beach hut I cut some surfboards and leaned them up against the side.

Here's what the huts look like from behind.

For the garlands I used a Martha Stewart punch to punch out many flowers, which I strung, back to back.  I used a foam mat to add dimension to the flowers, so that they weren't flat and allowed the garland to look very full!

Beach, Summer, Fun, Blooms and Boardwalk....so perfect for a themed party! BoBunny's Boardwalk Party Supplies are a perfect addition!

Invites, tags, straws and more to complete your celebration! Who's ready to party?!
