Marvelous Mason Jar!

Hello and welcome to the blog today! We have a gorgeous mixed media project for you today using a mason jar! This would be perfect for party treats or as an every day home decor piece or as a room decor treat for a sweet little girl, or.....the options are limitless!

Using the Sweet Moments collection as inspiration for the color palette made this jar come together in a snap! 

First, we applied a good coat of Crackle Paste Primer, after drying we applied the White Crackle paste. Then the fun began! Look how fab the cracks are! 

To give the jar the vintage look we used a little Antique Paste, applying it randomly, and on the jar lid. Then to add touches of color, we grabbed some yummy Pentart Creamy Acrylic!

With a brush we added it all over the crackle paste, using different colors and blending them. After it had dried, we fussy cut the Thank You and flowers from the Sweet moments collection, and the strip for the belly band. More acrylic paint was in order once the fussy cut items were adhered! Love how it blends so beautifully!

Finally, a few finishing touches with the Contour Liner Transparent and some brads and voila! A masterpiece!

Fine Arts Friday!

Hello everyone! Welcome to our Fine Arts Friday! This is the day we'll show case all our amazing fine art products! We'll give you projects to inspire you, teach you techniques and educate or introduce you to our amazing selection of fine arts products.

Add a photo to your canvas and blend it into the back ground! This is a wonderful way to personalize a project! Autumn leaves are added using Pentart acrylic paints.

Party Decor With Firecracker!

Hi BoBunnies! For our Sunday Fun Day, we are showing you how much fun you can have decorating with our new Firecracker collection! We have a 3 fabulous items created with paper, wood and mixed media that are perfect for any celebration!

Did you ever have crackers on the Christmas table? We have made our own version of these…almost too cute to pull apart, right?

And who doesn’t want some glittery stars to display on a party table or on a mantle?They are so easy to make, just add paper to front and back and add our great Glitter Paste to all the edges and on front of stars as desired and voila! So In Love With The NEW Love Squared Dies!

Snowflake Laser Cut Chipboard!

We are so excited to put our Laser Cut Chipboard on parade this week! Have you seen our new Snowflake Laser Chipboard yet? They are very delicate looking, yet they can take almost any treatment you can think of…spraying, inking, sanding, glossing, glittering…you get the picture! We have two gorgeous cards for you today!

Both cards are made using our Whiteout collection, We have also used our fantastic Glimmer sprays and Pearlescents to glam up the snowflakes! Too fun! 

Here you can see one of the snowflakes up close. It's been covered in Gold Pearlescents, added a little Gold Glitter Paste, inked the edges and added some Glossy Accent! Voila! Perfection!

The other snowflakes were sprayed with Bronze and Gold Glimmer sprays and the edges were inked. This technique gives them an antique metal look.

Feeling Festive for Autumn!

Hello everyone…anyone in the mood for a Autumn party?

Today we are featuring a table center piece worthy of a party!

I made three cubes from cardboard measuring 2” x 2”, 3” x 3”, 4” x 4”; all were painted in basic fall colors with acrylic paint, but could also be inked.

                 

 Cutting Enchanted Harvest Traditions into squares will provide the corresponding size for the sides of the cubes.

                

 Stacking the cubes make a fun, tall display! A postcard from the Enchanted Harvest Fall paper was added on top with a twisted wire.

   

              

 Many various Daisy, Pansy, Zinnia and Dahlia Blossoms were added around the cubes to give the affect of flowers growing from the base.

                    

 Use this craft as a fun centerpiece or as fall home décor!

NEW! One Layout, Three Ways!

Hello & welcome! Today we have something new for you! 1 layout done 3 ways!

Depending on your time, taste and crafting comfort level, these layout ideas can be done fast and easy, or you can spend a bit more time and use some fun techniques!

The first layout is very basic; 4 layers are cut and adhered and some Enchanted Harvest Noteworthy pieces were added. Fabulous, fast and fun!

The second layout again has the 4 layers, but ink has been added to each layer to create depth!

A title and a few more Noteworthy pieces have also been added to make more of a cluster effect

On the third layout, we have gone all out… each layer has been torn, sanded and inked!

                    Laser cut chipboard leaves have been inked and added

Enchanted Harvest Brads have been added to give some ‘bling’

                      

Sunflowers have been fussy cut from Sunflowers paper. All pieces have been shaped, inked and adhered using foam squares to give dimension. Filagree Foil butterflies were added last and can be rubbed right on top of photos! So, however you like to scrap, you can use this one layout to suit your needs!

Party With Boardwalk!

Hello! Who's ready for summer? BoBunny's new Boardwalk  is a super fun beach inspired collection just waiting for all your summer projects and pictures!

Boardwalk Party by Pia Johnson

 Today for Sunday Fun Day I have created a party themed project using the Boardwalk collection and mixed media. Remember folding newspaper as a child and creating hats and boats? These memories inspired me to make these darling boats to be filled with candy and fun little toys! A new take on treat bags!

   

The bucket is filled with pinwheels and Noteworthy pieces adhered to sticks; for a party it can be used as a centerpiece or also filled with treats.

Gold Glitter Paste has been added to the project to glam up the banners. The  bucket also has glitter added to the edge to resemble sand.

So if you are having a summer party, grab the Boardwalk collection, some Glitter Paste and make some fun decorations…and don’t forget to take lots of pictures!
