Firecracker & Misc Me!

In May I went to New York City with my mother and we really had the time of our lives. I figured this special trip deserved to get a few pages in my Misc Me album, so I scrapped some of my favourite photos with the wonderful Firecrackers collection.

I used the Firecracker Journal Contents to fill the largest pocket of the sleeve and also used a Journal Card to mat my photo on the right page.

I just love the tiniest Journaling Cards from the Firecrackers collection and I filled the smallest pockets with these cards. I added chipboard pieces to some of the journaling cards. 

I added some journaling on the right page to document my special memories of this mother-daughter trip. I also framed the Brooklyn Bridge on the photo with a die-cut from the Noteworthy package to turn it into a real eye-catcher.

My second spread features a photo of the overview that we had over the city from the top of the Empire State Building. The photo on the right side is probably a familiar one. It's the Statue of Liberty.

On the left side of my second spread I created a nice design by using several Journal Cards in different sizes. 

I also decorated this page with a few Layered Chipboard embellishments. I thought they matched the photos of our trip to the capitcal city of the USA really well. 

The second page of this spread was also made with one of the page protectors and lots of Pocket Squares. I love the fact that these Pocket Square cards are double-sided, because you only have to use one journaling card to achieve a nice design on both the front and the backside.

1 Layout 3 Ways with Butterfly Kisses!

I always love adding many details to my lay-outs, so most of my designs get quite complicated. But I know that some of you may prefer lay-outs that tend to be more clean & simple. For that reason I created one lay-out in three different ways: from clean & simple to more complicated. 

For this lay-out I used the gorgeous Butterfly Kisses collection, which is one of my new favourites from BoBunny. I love the combination of pink, blue and grey and of course I'm a huge fan of all the pretty butterflies in this collection too.

On my first lay-out I did some layering of different sheets of paper, a doily and a few die-cuts from the Noteworthy package. I also added a few chipboard embellishments both at the top of the photo and in the right lower corner, as well as two cut out butterflies. 

On my second lay-out I added a few flower die-cuts in the left lower and right upper corner. I also punched along the edges of a pink sheet of paper and tucked these borders alongside the left and right side of my lay-out. Besides, I added a tab die-cut in the left upper corner and attached a chipboard butterfly on top of it.

My third lay-out has even more details on it. I added a chipboard flower embellishment in the left lower corner of the photo. I also further decorated my lay-out with a few more die-cuts and chipboard pieces. As a finishing touch I added some pearls as well.

Firecracker Pops With Mixed Media!

It's Romy here and today I have a lay-out to share with you that I made with the brand new and very pretty Firecracker collection. I also used stamps, glitter paste and stickable stencils to decorate my lay-out.

My lay-out is titled "Life is a party". I thought this title was perfect for the bright and festive "Firecracker" collection. I added a banner, some stars and glitter details to give my lay-out a festive look.

I framed my photo with the chipboard frame from the Firecracker chipboard sheet. I attached two rockets from the Layered Chipboard package in the corner of the frame.

The background of my lay-out was made of Double Dot card stock. I decorated one of the sheets with different mixed media. I first stamped in the corners and then used two stickable stencils and Red and Graphite glitter paste to further decorate these corners.

Imagine Crafts Blog First up is Romy!

I love the adorable patterns and happy colours in the Toy Box collection, which make it a perfect collection for party supplies. Today I will show you three gift tags that I made with this beautiful collection.

The tags are cut out with the Nested Tags dies. I used multiple layers of paper on each tag, which I attached with Imagine Crafts tape. This tape is easily tearable and really nice to work with. 

I further embellished the tags with the coordinating chipboard stickers and the BoBunny Twinkle Twinkle die. I also used an Imagine Crafts Memento Marker to outline some of the paper layers, so that they would stand out more.

On the two largest tags I used some of the tiny stars that the Twinkle Twinkle die cuts out. On the smallest tag I used the outline of the stars. The girl tag is a Layered Chipboard embellishment from the Toy Box collection.

I punched a little hole in all of the tags and tied a bow with some twine through the hole. I added some pearls to the tags as a finishing touch.

Misc Me Joy!

It's Romy here on the BoBunny blog today. Today  I will share some of my latest Misc Me creations with you. As you may know, I'm using Misc Me to create a 'book of joy', filled with happy memories to all kinds of special moments throughout the year. For my March Misc Me pages I wanted to document my favourite season, spring.

I used the wonderful Secret Garden collection to create these pages, together with the Journal Contents from the Calendar Girl collection. 

For some extra interest, I used the heart stencil from the Love Stickable Stencil set with some Rose Gold glitter paste on one of the cards. I also used some chipboard embellishments to decorate some of the cards. 

On the Calendar Girl journal page, I journaled about the things I love about spring: the sunshine, the fact that the days are becoming brighter and longer again and the flowers and blossoms. 

I also used a photo of me and my mom on one of the pages. I embellished it with a chipboard embellishment and some buttons from the Secret Garden Buttons package.

Party With Toy Box!

Hi BoBunny fans!

Today I would like to show you a party set I made with the adorable Toy Box collection and BoBunny's new white gesso. I just love playing with mixed media and had a wonderful time working with white gesso and a heart mask.

I made a card and a tag and also altered a kraft gift envelope for my niece's birthday party. She will turn 6 soon and she loves animals, so the Toy Box collection was just perfect to make her something. 

On my card I used a lot of layering of papers and chipboard embellishments. I also decorated the background paper with white hearts, which I made with the heart mask from the 'Love' stickable stencils and white gesso. I also added blue jewels to the heart for some extra sparkle. 

The craft envelope is also decorated with white gesso hearts, as well as a chipboard sticker and some chipboard buttons.

Off The Page With Secret Garden!

It's Romy here today and I would like to show you a notebook that I altered with the gorgeous Secret Garden papers and embellishments and the brand new 'Birds of a Feather' stamp set.

I covered the front side of the notebook with a few sheets of paper and several Noteworthy die-cuts. I also attached a Layered Chipboard sticker to the cover for some extra dimension. By using both a die-cut bird from the Noteworthy package and a chipboard bird, I managed to make it look like a pair of love birds.

I didn't want the inside pages of the notebook to look boring either, so I stamped several feathers on the pages inside the notebook. I stamped some feathers directly on the pages and some of them were stamped on patterned paper and were then cut out. 

The back side of the notebook was decorated with the same papers as the front side. I also added two Noteworthy glitter die-cuts as a finishing touch.

Beautiful Dreamer Cards With Fly Away Dies!

Today I would like to show you two party invitations I made using the gorgeous Fly Away dies set and the lovely Beautiful Dreamer collection. These dies and papers are a match made in heaven and they made it really easy to whip up these two cards in no time at all.

On my first card I used the small hot-air balloon die to cut out two purple hot-air balloons. I also cut out a larger balloon from one of the papers and positioned that in the middle of my card. I further decorated my card with two clouds, which I also cut out using the Fly Away dies set. 

On my second card I used the larger hot-air balloon die. I incorporated this hot-air balloon on the left side of my card and cut out another hot-air balloon from one of the papers to attach on the right side of my card.

I used pearls and chipboard pieces to further decorate my card. The black tag that I used on this card was cut out with another dies set: the Nested Tags dies.

Summer Fun With Misc Me!

It's Romy here today and I would like to show you a few pages I made for my Misc Me album. As you may have read earlier on, I use the Misc Me products to create a 'note to self' book full of wonderful quotes and beautiful memories that I have.

Last month I made four pages about my new year's resolutions. This month I decided to bring some sunshine to the cold month of February, because I'm really looking forward to summer. I used the wonderful Beach Therapy collection mixed up with some bits and pieces from the Calendar Girl Misc Me contents. 

As you can see, I decorated my page with beautiful chipboard pieces and Noteworthy die-cuts from the Beach Therapy collection. I also further adorned my pages with the Summer Fun clear stickers. I especially enjoyed adding these stickers to my photos, because they make such a sweet detail. 

I journaled about how much I love summer and how much I am looking forward to enjoying the sunshine and going to the beach again. The tropical colours and patterns of the Beach Therapy collection definitely made me look forward to summer even more. I cannot wait to start scrapping a few beach photos that I have with this collection.

I also filled the pockets with some of the Beach Paradise Misc Me Pocket Squares. I love these new covers that are just the right size for the smallest journaling cards from the Misc Me packages.
