Blog Hop Time!!

This week we are happy to be playing with the Imagine Crafts Design Team! We swapped products and the results were magical! Go check out their blog all week to continue in the fun!

Imagine Crafts Blog First up is Romy!

I love the adorable patterns and happy colours in the Toy Box collection, which make it a perfect collection for party supplies. Today I will show you three gift tags that I made with this beautiful collection.

Gift Tags by Romy Veul

The tags are cut out with the Nested Tags dies. I used multiple layers of paper on each tag, which I attached with Imagine Crafts tape. This tape is easily tearable and really nice to work with.
I further embellished the tags with the coordinating chipboard stickers and the BoBunny Twinkle Twinkle die. I also used an Imagine Crafts Memento Marker to outline some of the paper layers, so that they would stand out more.

On the two largest tags I used some of the tiny stars that the Twinkle Twinkle die cuts out. On the smallest tag I used the outline of the stars. The girl tag is a Layered Chipboard embellishment from the Toy Box collection.

I punched a little hole in all of the tags and tied a bow with some twine through the hole. I added some pearls to the tags as a finishing touch.

1 Layout 3 Ways!

Welcome BoBunny fans to another 1 layout 3 ways feature, Bernii here with you to share with you my take. Today I wanted to share with you a layout I created with the new Toy Box collection.

" Twinkle, Twinkle" layout by Bernii Miller for BoBunny using the Toy Box collection.

For the first step of the layout I kept it fairly basic following a grid style pattern. It is nice a simplistic and can most certainly be called done and tucked away safely into my album.

Then to the second layout I added only a few extra elements to help add a little more interest and make it a little bit more me. Firstly I added the new BoBunny white Gesso to the back ground, added some extra stitching to the 3x4 cards, sprinkled on more brads and added a banner under on the of the 3 x 4 cards.

And lastly to create the final layout I added a few final touches. Red twine to the buttons and bottom left hand 3 x 4 card, extra blue paper to layer between the layout and background, I "roughed" up all the edges , glitter paste circles and hearts and added a few more buttons.

I hope that I have inspired you today to play along with your Toy Box collection .

Toy Box Frame & Decor!

Hi BoBunny Fans :)

Today I wanted to show you a table decor idea using Toy Box and Orange Glitter Paste!  They match each other so well :)  I also had a go at using the crackle paste and primer OM Goodness it is so easy!

Baby Love by Megan Gourlay for BoBunny using Orange Glitter Paste and Toy Box Collection

The first part of this was the frame.  I had picked this up in a bargain bin, and it was ugly!!  To transform it into something a sight more interesting I applied gesso first to get rid of the ugly pattern that was there.  I then applied the primer and when dry applied the crackle paste.  I left it over night to make sure it was dry and it crackled perfect!  It's super easy, either follow the directions on the packet or watch the YouTube Blip :)  you can't go wrong!

I fussy cut some of the nursery rhyme characters and popped some of them up with chipboard, layering them amongst brads and blossoms.

The second part of my table decor is this duo of wooden hearts.  I just painted over the surface with the Orange Glitter Paste, which was perfect for taking away the starkness of the white. Some alpha stickers were used to spell his name, and I picked out one of the silver rubons from the Sentiments set for the other heart.

The cute little duck was part of one of layered chipboard pieces - I have gently lifted her off and attached her to my wooden heart.

The cubes were super easy to decorate, just cut out all those blocks from the Imagine piece of paper :)

Thanks for popping by!

Party With Toy Box!

Hi BoBunny fans!
Today I would like to show you a party set I made with the adorable Toy Box collection and BoBunny's new white gesso. I just love playing with mixed media and had a wonderful time working with white gesso and a heart mask.

I made a card and a tag and also altered a kraft gift envelope for my niece's birthday party. She will turn 6 soon and she loves animals, so the Toy Box collection was just perfect to make her something.

On my card I used a lot of layering of papers and chipboard embellishments. I also decorated the background paper with white hearts, which I made with the heart mask from the 'Love' stickable stencils and white gesso. I also added blue jewels to the heart for some extra sparkle.

The craft envelope is also decorated with white gesso hearts, as well as a chipboard sticker and some chipboard buttons.

Favorite Monster In Misc Me!

You are my favorite Monster by Agnieszka Bellaidea

You are my favorite monster by Agnieszka Bellaidea for Bo Bunny feauturing Toy Box collection

My collections of scrapbook pages with my daughter will require additional room in my house by 2021. I still have so many photos to scrap. But when it's comes to my son taking photos of him it's not so easy. He is very active, energetic, moves fast and runs like a wind. No wonder he is such a star in baseball :)

Still, I want to have album with his photos from childhood!

New collection by BoBunny, Toy Box- check HERE gave me inspiration to start new album.

I work a couple of hours on scrapbook page when using gesso, stencils, stamps etc but creating pages like this takes no time at all.

BoBunny designs make it so easy for us!

Cutting ready titles and mixing them with photos - this can be even nice activity with small monster..well, I mean children.

Girls will also find nice elements for them, my daughter played more with blocks, cars and puzzles then with dolls.
How about your children?
How would you use this collection? I am going to have a little Candy on my blog with this collection next week!

Marvelous Mixed Media Layout!

Hello Everyone

It's Denise here today to share a mixed media page with you!

Mixed Media Layout by Denise van Deventer using the Toy Box Collection and Decoupage Paper

I created the background with pieces of the BoBunny Toy Box Decoupage paper, which I adhered with super heavy gel medium. Once that was dry, I then went over that with a stencil and some gesso.

I allowed this to dry again and then added some watercolouring.  Again, I allowed this to dry and then added lots of stamping.

I fussy cut some circles from the decoupage paper and adhered these with little dots of glue, over the decoupage circles on the background design.

I layered up lots of little bits and bobs under the photo and also added some of the fabulous, new clear stickers.

Above is a side view of the layers and the fussy cut decoupage paper.  The decoupage paper is slightly see-through, so one is still able to see the background design through the decoupage paper.

It really does add dimension to the page. I really had so much fun creating this page and it really did come together quickly.

What will you create with the decoupage paper? Thanks so much for popping by the BoBunny blog today.

Hope to see you back soon.

Denise x

Toy Box Gift Bag!

What a fun collection Toy Box is! It is perfect for creating fun party themed items for children. I don't know about you, but I really like to have gift packaging ready and on hand at our home. One thing that I like to do as a crafter is purchase plain gift bags in kraft or white paper so I can personalize. We also save bags and re-purpose them too.

For my project today I selected the "Pretend" pattered paper with the airplanes for my base layer. I trimmed the paper to size, then stitched around it with my sewing machine. Then I applied a few of our Silver Foil Transfer randomly.

Next, I cut a Nested Terrific Tag from the Recess paper in the middle size, then using the same papers, cut a Twinkle Twinkle from it. I trimmed a section, then adhered to the tag as an accent. I added a small sliver bell and tied the tag with some plain white string to the bag handle.

I found the sweet little owl journaling card on the Blocks paper and applied the Sentiments Silver Foil Transfer to it. Next, it was layered with the Cheerful yellow stripe. I tucked the red Noteworthy tab behind the top, then adhered a small doily to the back. I cut out the blocks from the Imagine paper. Attach that to the bag, then add the small airplane with foam adhesive and place the button on the window.

One of the many things that I love about crafting is being able to personalize a gift in a way that makes it unique or special.

Altered Toy Box!

Good Morning!!  Have you seen the new Toy Box Collection?? What an awesome collection full of fun storybook characters, crayons, numbers and all things fun! I know I had a lot of fun playing with this cute and colorful collection.

Altered Toy Box by Lynn Shokoples

Altered Toy Box by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny featuring the Toy Box Collection and new Foil Vellum Sheets

For my project I altered a box making it into a toy box. I covered the sides and insides of the box with the patterned paper from the collection. On the cover I used the pieces from the Noteworthy package and folded the pieces up so they popped out of the box. I ran a strip from the new foil vellum sheet across them to keep them in place.

For the inside cover I took one of the pieces from the Foil Vellum Sheet and adhered it under the frame piece from the Noteworthy package. On the top is one of the pieces from the Layered Chipboard Pack, because everything should have a little sparkle right? The Foil Vellum is so great for overlays or for added elements.
