BoBunny Boxed Cards Project with Emmy

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today sharing my first post for October. This week is all about Boxed Cards here on BoBunny's blog. I chose to design with one of my personal favorite collections - Boulevard from BoBunny's summer release.

I used two cards from the box set for the bases of my designs - a reddish one and one is blossoms. For the layers on top I used various pattern papers from the 12" paper pad and the mini paper pad. I inked the edges of the panels using brown ink pad.

To create some of the colourful layers, I used different BoBunny dies.

To decorate my cards I used different Double Dot embellishments - flourish jewels, brads and rhinestones.

The sentiments I selected from the cardstock sticker sheet and 12" pattern paper.

As a final touch I added BoBunny Dahlia Blossoms. I really enjoy to mix-and-match BoBunny's newest collection with their vintage embellishments - the color range is so broad that I can always find the right colors for my projects.

I hope I managed to inspire you today!

Have a great week!

Family Fun Layout with Emmy

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today with my second post for April featuring the amazing Harmony collection from BoBunny's newest release.

For my background I used two different pattern papers -  a pink one and a blue stripy one from Harmony. I cut off 0.5 cm from each side of the pink pattern paper, distressed its edges and adhered it on top of the blue one. Then, using a clear stamp and brown ink, I created the hand written pattern. Once the ink has dried, I added a white dimensional layer using one of BoBunny's stickable stencils and gesso.

To decorate my picture I fussy cut flowers and birds from different pattern papers. I also added some of the lovely pre-cut embellishments from the Noteworthy pack. I also added delicate flowery corners I've created using BoBunny's die and white cardstock.

For my title I used a chipboard word, which I coloured with white Gesso. I added a pink banner from the Noteworthy pack with the word "love" (from a Foil accents pack) next to it.

As a finishing touch I added different colored rhinestones and pearls, rhinestone swirls and a few of the amazing brads matching the collection.

I hope you enjoyed today's post!

Destination Happiness Mini Album with Ginny

Well hello there friends and BoBunny fans!
Today I'm sharing a fun mini album created with the World Traveler collection.

Word Traveler_Mini Album_Ginny_May28_01
A mini album is such a great way to document a special trip. It's a walk down memory lane and can also be used as home decor propped on a shelf or table. That way your friends and family know they are invited to flip through and enjoy your pictures and journaling.
Word Traveler_Mini Album_Ginny_May28_012
I started by gathering the collection and embellishments.  This is where the layering process really begins for me as I'm choosing elements that fit my project and look good together.
Word Traveler_Mini Album_Ginny_May28_013
I originally thought I would create a card...but once I started layering I decided that I could make this a layout for the cover of a mini album.
Word Traveler_Mini Album_Ginny_May28_014
I created a mini album base so I would have the perfect size for these elements. Mat board works great for the cover as it's easy to cut but still very sturdy.
Word Traveler_Mini Album_Ginny_May28_02
The inside cover has a nice large area for bigger pictures. The little tag is from the Combo Sticker sheet. I used foam tabs to pop this up to build dimension. The banner is also from the sticker sheet.

The cut apart sheet has fabby postcard images that I used to create a pocket. There's a uniquely shaped die cut from the Noteworthy collection to provide a place to add journaling.
Word Traveler_Mini Album_Ginny_May28_04
I'm alternating the patterns and scale to create raised sections for pictures.

Tabbed topped stickers and Layered Chipboard Stickers are great accents for this set of pages.

This pocket is created by layering a strip of tags cut from the patterned papers onto the stripe. Matting is very important to keep this from looking busy.

I fussy cut a few of the tags and popped them up just for a little extra detail. The tag in the pocket is a section of the large die cut from Noteworthy.

You can never have enough pockets in a mini to tuck in all the little bits and pieces so here's another for the last page.  Those tiny suitcase stickers are so charming! One more die cut in the pocket for journaling.

The back cover is finished similar to the front with a tag and some stickers and twine.

Wishing you all a happy and productive day : ) Ginny

Unique Cards Made Simple and Easy featuring Black Tie Affair with Ayumi

Hello BoBunny Friends!!

Welcome back to the BoBunny Blog today!  It's Ayumi here for another post highlighting the Black Tie Affair Collection. This line is quickly becoming a staple for me.  It is especially a go-to when I make special cards for engagements, weddings or as you can see just a basic love theme.  I went for some easy and simple cards this time, specifically to illustrate just how striking black and white are paired together.  I showed the finished card and then a couple close ups of fun features that I will explain later in the post.

Love Cards by
Ayumi

Let me introduce a simple wedding card using, of course, Black Tie Affair and the We R Flower Punch Board.
This time I made flowers of XXS size (paper size is 1 3/4 x 6"). There are great instructions that come with the board itself, or you can just play around and see what sizes of flowers are your favorites!

Punch the paper and attach fold lines.Fold the paper, kind of in a roundabout shape,so that the shape of a flower.

Attach glue and decorate with a brads.

Twist paper petals around the petal curler to mimic a natural, organic curve.

And, Voila! Flowers are finished! Super easy to use and even more fun to create multi layered flowers and even flower bouquets out of paper!  Aren't these elegant?

Thanks for stopping by and see you next time for more fun ideas, techniques and creative inspiration!.

Enjoy your happy day!

Chabby Chic Card Duo - Featuring Black Tie Affair with Ginny

Hello there, Friends, and a happy day to you all!  I'm here to share two cards that I created with the Black Tie Affair collection. If you're thinking I'm going classic black and white these cards might surprise you.  This collection works for shabby chic inspired projects too!

Shabby Chic Card 1  By Ginny Nemchak for BoBunny using Black Tie Affair and Mini Alphabet Punch Board

I've pulled out the whites and grays for these cards and layered them with sweet soft pink cardstock. This 6 x 6 card has loads of Noteworthy pieces and a large die cut doily.

Shabby Chic Card 1  By Ginny Nemchak for BoBunny using Black Tie Affair and Mini Alphabet Punch Board

To make the ribbon slide I used the Alphabet Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers and created the tops of two A's but on opposite ends of a long strip. I simply wound the ribbon through then wrapped the tails and secured them on the back.  A few Double Dot Jewels are the perfect finishing touch!

Shabby Chic Card 2  By Ginny Nemchak for BoBunny using Black Tie Affair and Mini Alphabet Punch Board

This card is A2 sized and has more of the cut aparts and a smaller die cut doily. For this ribbon slide I punched the ends like in the previous slide...but left the ends squared off. I also trimmed a bit to make it narrower so as to fit the scale better.

The scrap from the cut apart makes an excellent tag when given a coordinating metal eyelet and twine. Instead of my usual poofy bow I created a smaller ribbon embellishment with the trim  and secured it in the center with a Double Dot Brad.

I'm having loads of fun creating unique embellishments with my Alphabet Punch Board. Of  course it's great for letters too!

Okay that's all for me. Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G

"Timeless" - A 12x12 Layout with Stay Awhile and BoBunny Craft Dies with Katherine

Hello Everyone!! Katherine here today with a page using Stay Awhile and French Vanilla Double Dot Damask.

To start, one of my favourite designs in the Stay Awhile pack is on the Together paper with it's beautiful blue and fern like fronds with rusty berries - so that was my main strip and color focal point for the page.  I edged it with one of the stickers from the sticker sheet - I cut the sticker in half on my guillotine and added down each side of the central strip.

I added some of the Clover Pansy blossoms to the side of my photos and hung one of the wooden bird cages, which I decorated with some Mocha jewels and tied up under the pansies.

I cut out one of the little rusty coloured houses from the Warm journal sheet, added a few jewels and then the sticker - Home is Where the Heart Is.

I added the jewels across my page to look like drips of paint.

I made a banner for my title using BoBunny's All Caps Alphabet Dies.  I hung them from some twine which is held in place mainly with glue, but also some strategically paced Emerald Green brads too.

Thanks for visiting with us today! Come back soon for more ideas and inspiration for your memory keeping!
