Step it up!

Hello Bo Bunny fans and happy September! I hope everyone had a great weekend and is having a great start to their week!

Today we are focusing on simple and embellished layouts on the blog. We know some people like clean and simple and others love fussy and embellished. Our designers were given the task of making both groups happy with our STEP IT UP challenge! Each designer created a simple, yet elegant layout and then stepped it up with lots of fun embellishments. It was so fun to see their simple and embellished versions of the same layout. It's hard not to love either version!

Welcome Home Project Kit meets Canvas

Hi there Bo Bunny friends!  How is your long weekend going?
Hopefully you're getting some scrappy-crafty time in and playing with all the new releases!
We've been rained in here in Mississippi where I live but that's always a good time to create right?

I'm excited to share my project with you today.  I was looking through the new Welcome Home project kit that was designed to help you create a fun family themed mini-album.

And I immediately knew what I wanted to do with it!  I've been on a huge canvas kick lately.  It's been fun to use my scrapbooking stash to create projects that can actually be hung on a wall instead of hiding away in my scrapbooks.  So I used some of the kit which was really easy because everything is already cut out for you then I decorated this 16 x 20 canvas.  The frame that has the word "Home" in it was from the Noteworthy set and I cut out the inside to create an opening making the word "Home" stand out more.  With a little paint and some fun extras.... a reminder of the importance of home & family can be created.

Supplies:  Welcome Home Project Kit
Welcome Home Portrait
Welcome Home Front Door
