  Beautifully Happy
"I'm so in love with the new Prairie Chic collection, that distressed blue/white brocade design grabbed me immediately! I kept the layout fairly simple, a photo in the center surrounded by the BB blooms and bling and then just added peeks of the denim paper on the edges."

"I cut one of the 4" Doilies in half and placed it on each side of the photo. I then used a black pen to draw an outline around various parts of the doily pattern.
To make the most of the Jewel Flourishes, I trimmed the Glaze Jewels into smaller pieces and tucked them in with the blossoms."

What are you THANKFUL for?

Can I just say wow....  I was going over the layouts for today,
with the topic of "What are you thankful for?" and after looking through
them and reading them and thinking about my own family...
I realized I was sitting here with tears running down my face.
(and I'm not a public crier)

The title of this post could also be "Families"

So very thankful

My journaling reads: I am so very thankful every day for my family.
They truly give me so many cherished memories. It's a great day to say "Thanks" to those we love.
Tip: A fun way to use the stamps is to stamp onto the patterned paper, emboss them
and just cut them out and add them to your layout.

Patterned Paper: Afternoon, Journey, Harvest, Pumpkin Patch, Orchard/Apple Cider
Cut Outs: Apple Cider
Chipboard: Layered Chipboard, Chipboard/ Apple Cider

Your Sweet Little Smiling Faces
Carin McDonough

Tip : To do my heart I drew a heart on a scrap piece of cardstock then cut it out with a craft knife.
I then placed the negative piece on my page, then used a wood grain stencil and some
paint through the heart cut out. Once that was dry I pricked holes around the heart and
stitched with some embroidery thread.
 Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper : Dot, Journey, Orchard, Stripe, Cut Outs/Apple Cider
Cardstock : Slate Double Dot
Stickers : Combo Sticker, Giving Thanks, We are Family, Dimensional Stickers/Apple Cider

Not allotta time or cash????

I'm so ecstatic to show you guys these fun and easy layouts
our DT pulled together in no time at all.

We gave them a formula that looked something like this...
JUST KIDDING!!!!

It really looked something like this:
(you choose your own papers, these are just examples)

Carin starts us off with this darling layout made with Hello Sunshine... This page is just a bit of happiness right here on the blog.
I love that she spotlighted the kids with the open circle sticker!

Lazy Days of Summer
by Carin McDonough

Bo Bunny Supplies Used :
Patterned Paper : Delight, Daydream, Dot/Hello Sunshine
Cardstock : Journal Dot in Turquoise
Stickers : Lazy Days Cardstock Stickers/Hello Sunshine
Petals : Hello Sunshine

and just for fun.... check out how much product she still has left after making her page...

Carin also has a great tip for those of us who like to take LOTS of photos... she says:
" I am a someone who takes loads of photos and has a really hard time narrowing down what photos I want to use! I often have too many to even do a double page that I would be happy with and I am mostly a single page girl anyway! So my soloution to my problem is to use these page protectors with 4x6 slots. You can do your single page with as many photos as you like and then slot the rest into the page protectors and use one of them for journalling or just to decorate. Quick and simple! I have kept this one really simple with just a journalling box and a strip down the side to help tie it in with my single page but you could go as fancy as you like! "

Carin also added a sketch will be in the sketch tab at the top of the blog....   (this is new, check it out)

Daddy's Girls
by Sarah Eclavea
Journaling: These are daddy's two little princesses. Frances and Isabel, Father's Day, June 2012
Bo Bunny Supplies Used :
Patterned Paper: Little Miss, Little Miss Allie, Cut Outs/ Little Miss
Stickers: 12x12 cardstock/ Little Miss
Chipboard: 12x12 chipboard/ Little Miss
Cardstock: Coffee Flourish

Sarah gives us a great tip when she says...
"I like to make the photos the stars of my layouts so I usually scrap with 4x6 photos. Since I don't have to crop my photos and bigger photos take up more space I save time and product too. I only used half of my cardstock sheet and less than half of two of my patterned papers. I also only used a few stickers and two chipboard pieces from the set. I have tons of product left over to make several more layouts and cards. And time too since I didn't spend hours on this layout!"
Sarah also made you all a sketch... don't forget to check out the sketch tab at the top of the blog.

Lazy Days of Summer
By Luzma

Luzma gives us great advice and tells us...

you can make such great embellies with them."

Lazy Days Cardstock Sticker: Hello Sunshine

Can you stand how easy yet amazing today's layouts are???

Layout Challenge Friday

user posted image
It's time for another Friday Challenge!!  It is always such fun to see what each of you do with the challenges here at Bo Bunny!
This time the challenge is to use an ad from a magazine, the internet or any other place you see an advertisement that inspires you!

Of course, some of the design team took the challenge, too!  Let's take a peek!

Tomoko Takahashi
Barefoot and Bliss

Tomoko used the brand new collection Barefoot and Bliss for her layout.  Instead of using the advertisement only for inspiration, she included it in her layout!  These sweet pictures go perfectly with the advertisement, too!

Other supplies
Distress crackle paint, glossy accents,Aqua stickles,Sakura pigma pen,Swiss dot Bazzill paper

And Now...

Patti Milazzo
Cool By the Pool

Patti also chose to use the Barefoot and Bliss Collection! She was inspired by an Arm & Hammer advertisement in an issue of Martha Stewart’s Living Magazine. Patti's layouts aren’t typically graphic and tend to be more fussy but this ad really caught her eye with it’s simple design and bold colors that happen to match Barefoot & Bliss’s color scheme. It's Perfect!

Here is the advertisement that Patti used as her inspiration:

Designer Note:  I used the ad’s thin column design as my focus on the page and left the remainder of the blue cardstock as “white space”. I also tried to align the word accents (alpha letters, stickers and cut paper) in a similar fashion. The “bubbles” from the Noteworthy accents as well as stickers and chipboard gives the page a bit more movement and dimension.

Supplies Used:
Barefoot & Bliss Pattern Papers – Dot, Snorkel, Laid Back, Stripe and Word, Barefoot & Bliss Combo Stickers, Barefoot & Bliss Cardstock Stickers – Backyard Bliss, Barefoot & Bliss Layered Chipboard
Barefoot & Bliss Noteworthy, Barefoot & Bliss Brads, Double Dot Cardstock – Dark Denim
And last, but certainly not least we have:

Samanatha Wright
Howzat!

Samantha used the Ad Lib Collection for her layout!  Her inspiration came from a cover advertisement.  This super fun layout is such a cute way to share lots of pictures!  The blocking allows for lots more options, too!

Here is the advertisement that Samantha used for her inspiration:

Designer tip: The ad is rectangular, but the blocks appealed to me so I turned the ad on it's side and used a 5x5 block.

Supplies Used:
Ad Lib 6x6 paper pad, Ad lib Dimensional stickers, Ad lib combo stickers, Ocean dot, Kiwi dot

Now it's your turn!  We can't wait to see what you come up with!  Be sure to link your layout here by July 6th.  We will choose a random winner to win a great Bo Bunny prize!

And we can't forget the winner of the last challenge!

The winner is Celeste Brodnick!

Congratulations Celeste!

Have a wonderful weekend!!
