Zip-A-Dee-Doodle Cards

Today we continue our Week of Cards here on the BoBunny blog with our first set of cards by our BoBunny Design Team members using our new Zip-A-Dee-Doodle collection. Each designer has created two cards to share with you. I love how we have such a wide variety of styles to showcase, that go from simple and graphic to elegant!

YOU'RE SO SWEET card by Rhonda Van Ginkel

I was inspired by the 3x4 and 4x6 cards in our collections.  This one is from the Zig Zag paper and I loved the soft and pretty feel of it.  I added just a touch of Stickles to accent the sugar jar and some soft scallops to frame the sentiment.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Authentic, Meow, Creative, Zig Zag/ Zip-A-Dee-Doodle
Chipboard: 12x12 Chipboard/ Zip-A-Dee-Doodle

HELLO LOVE pop-up card by Rhonda Van Ginkel

Interactive cards are always fun to create.  I've stamped on the base here with Versamark using the Zip-A-Dee Doodle Stamps.  A pretty brad is used to create the pull.  This collection is so fun and whimsical, but yet has a very romantic appeal to it.

For anyone interested in the tutorial, I will have a link to it on my blog. It does fold flat to mail.

I used plain black and white cardstock along with the gorgeous Zip-A-Dee Doodle-papers. I spiced it up just a little bit with some blue jewels and a cool trinket.

GRATTIS card (Congratulations card) by Ulrika Wandler

On this card I used one of my favorite forms, circles! With a couple of punches in different sizes you come a long way! I just love the patterns on these papers that work so well together.

YOU MAKE ME HAPPY by Megan Gourlay

I loved this wee phrase, so decided to use it for my husbands birthday card - he really does cheer me up when things aren't going so well.  He may not be the perfect man but he's pretty close!

Double Dot: Sugar Dot

HELLO!  by Megan Gourlay

Designer tip:  The reverse side of the Collage paper has some great graphics for creating cards. To add depth and make them stand out more, cut around the outside of the central design and pop it up on foam or chipboard. With first card I then distressed around all the edges and with the second I left them clan but place the central graphic off centre.

Hello Love by Ilene Tell

This collection is so fun that I wanted to make a card with some funky, more artsy elements - I sprinkled some mist on and added the jewels on top for added interest. The dimensional stickers are ready to use as is, since they come with so many layers and even glitter already done for you. But I still couldn't resist adding a tiny black pearl to the small heart.

Dimensional Stickers: Zip-A-Dee-Doodle 12x12
Chipboard: Zip-A-Dee-Doodle

Cup Of Tea by Ilene Tell

I love how the cut-apart sheets in all of the BoBunny collections make it so easy to throw a quick card together... when you're preparing for a party last minute... (not that this ever happened to me, or anything :) I wanted to use one of the stickers for the sentiment, so I backed it up with Bo Bunny cardstock - this allowed me to emphasize it with a black border, made it more sturdy, and best of all - enabled me to pop it up with some dimensional adhesive. The cardstock was also perfect as card base since one side had the adorable polka dot pattern, and the inside was a distressed white.
