Kids Crafts

While we celebrate family this week on our blog, we wanted to make sure that we celebrate all the little darlings in our lives!

Your little darlings will love to help you make these fun crafts!

Thank You Turkey by Keri Babbitt

In our home, the month of November is all about gratitude & family.  For this year's Thanksgiving festivities, my daughters & I made this Thank You Turkey craft to use throughout the month.

We started by tracing two circles, one about two inches larger than the other, onto two pieces of chocolate double dot cardstock.  I sewed them together in a sunburst pattern, and then we got to work punching out circles and die-cutting feathers!

This adorable little guy started out sitting featherless on an end table in the living room. Throughout the month, we are adding "thank you" feathers.  When something we are grateful for
happens, we write it down on the back of a feather.  Then we slip that
feather into one of the stitched pockets.  On Thanksgiving day, we'll take turns reading the feathers to each other, and will be filled with lots of thankful memories to think & talk about.

Birthday Party Crafts and Decorations by Ulrika Wandler

I wanted to show you some stuff that you can make both for the kids and with the kids!

These cupcake decorations and bags have a clean and simple design so the kids can easily play along in the process of making them.

The flags are cut out from one of the Kraft Gift Bags and wrapped around a thin wooden stick.

These adorable paper Gift Bags from the Kraft collection are so fun and easy to work with!

On the bag at the left it says Happy birthday in Swedish. The two smaller bags have my two sons' names on them.

These wooden decorations are my absolute favorites! Look at these cool mustaches! And the glasses! Wow!

I also made a Gift bag filled with candy using a plastic package from some BoBunny embellishment. I emptied it and put on some decorations!

BoBunny Supplies:
Doilies: 4” small,  6” medium
Kraft Gift Bags: Chevrons, Mustache
Kraft Wood Pieces: Wood Mustaches, Wood Keys & Butterflies
