Off the Page with Penny Emporium!

Hi BoBunny Fans :) Today is OTP day - its a bit of favourite of mine ;) - and I wanted to share with you a photo frame I've altered using Penny Emporium.  If you like fussy cutting you will LOVE Penny Emporium!!
Friends Frame by Megan Gourlay

I had this photo of my BFF and I taken at my wedding.  It was just a random shot taken by her husband I think but it needed a frame!

To me Penny Emporium spoke of friends, travel and adventures and heaven knows we've had a few in the 25 years we've been friends :), so I wanted to show that with the embellishments I picked.

I've used the 'Alphabet' and turned it around so that the flourish design was on the opposite side, leaving the left side free for a cluster of embellishments.  The "Life is Better with Friends" banner was fussy cut from 'Captured' and the rather regal looking bird was fussy cut from 'Bazaar'.  A collection of buttons, jewels, brads and blossoms completed the cluster.

Making the opposite side of the frame have the flourish design prominent meant I could still embellish the opposite corner, but it also meant I could make it more clean and simple, and it wouldn't then detract from the photo. Both these time pieces were fussy cut from 'Bazaar' and 'Captured'.

I didn't want to just pop a photo into the frame, I wanted to create depth as well.  From the 'Portraiture' paper I have selected the frame, fussy cut around it and popped it up with foam squares, then popped my photo behind the foam, so it gives the appearance of window box frame.

Thanks for popping by!  I hope I've given you some inspiration to start playing with this beautiful collection :)  please share if you do on our Facebook page if you do!!

Hello and welcome to day 4 of the Blot Hop! I have a fun project to share with you today featuring the new Garden Journal collection and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L! Don't forget to scroll down to the bottom of the page for your next hop!

Spring Frame Tutorial by Kaori Fujimoto

Step 1
Use the "EZ RUNNER" for Adhesion.

They contain a small cut, and are easy to break.

Step 2
Adhere some "3D Foam Squares" on the back side of the paper.

It was layered with seven foam squares.

Step 3
Use the "Dodz" for flowers.

To use Black foam, it doesn't have to stand out.

When you make something with three-dimensional projects, 3L product is very useful!

Beautiful Altered Books!

Hello BoBunny fans, it's Amy here on Off the Page Wednesday!

Beautiful Family Memories Altered Books by Amy Voorthuis

This time I altered some old books with the amazing Heritage collection. I went to a secondhand shop real close to my house and I saw some amazing books that I had to have.

I was wanting to make this for a very long time but I could not find the right collection for this.

First I used a couple of sheets from the collection and put those on the cover of the books. Later I took my favorite washi tape out and used them to cover the back of the books which is super easy.

On the lower book I used the pretty piano sheet sadly I stuck everything on top of that....later I wondered why didn't I use it for the top one, but then it was to late.

I had such fun making this off the page project.

If you noticed I used a couple of different alphabets, they are so much fun on every kind of project you make because you have bold letters, small letters in all kind of sizes.

The BoBunny Lace are so adorable and if you can get your hands on them I advise you to buy them because they look great on everything. For my books I used them to keep the books closed.

Here you see the Pocket Squares on my top book underneath it you see the stickable stencils clock used with the licorice pearlescents.

I hope I inspired you to make a wonderful new OTP project to display in your wonderful homes.
This project I will give to my mom who loves reading books do you think she will like it?
