Spectacular Sprays!

Hello! For today's cards, I used BoBunny's gorgeous metallic Glimmer Sprays.

Handwritten Love Card by Ilene Tell

For this first card, I used the Bronze color to mist the corrugated cardboard - give it a few good sprays and, mixed with the original kraft color, the cardboard looks like it's made of metal. It also has a really nice shimmer to it. (By the way, do you see the pretty leaves I made with the Brand New Floral stamp set??)

Combo Sticker: Rose Café
Layered Chipboard: Rose Café
Glimmer Spray: Bronze

For my second card, I used the Gold Glimmer Spray to mist the wood embellishment and the script print background of the card.

BoBunny's Glimmer Sprays are a really easy way to color wooden embellishments quickly, and without covering up the print embossed into them. The Gold spray gives a very light shimmery gold that picks up the light when you hold it in your hands. Unfortunately, that effect is not so easy to capture with the camera, but if you look closely, you can see that the misted script background has a golden tone to it, as compared to the un-misted script image within the wooden Polaroid frame.

A Little Dutch Inspiration!

Hi everyone, it's Amy here with you today, to share my pinterest inspired off the page project.
I love surfing around the net especially on pinterest you get so many ideas just looking around.
As most of you know I live in The Netherlands that's why I wanted to make something Dutch.
So I came up with a "Clog" what's more Dutch then that right? This picture inspired me to make my OTP.

Wooden Clog by Amy Voorthuis

For this clog I used the pretty Rose Cafe collection. I think the person that created that collection must have Dutch roots, as I said before I love the blues in that collection it looks like Delft's Blue.

I have a little tutorial on how I made this.

The original look of the clog.

All gessoed, abraded and gessoed again to give the surface a better attachment for my next layer of paper pieces.

I used some glue & seal matte finished to attach the pieces of paper and later on sprayed it with some golden glimmer mist and stamped it with the it is written stamp.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope I inspired you to make something pretty using your country as inspiration!

Film Sticker Fun!

One of the new products BoBunny now has is Filmstrip stickers, and I love how versatile they are!!  Today I wanted to show you how you could use them with removing the adhesive.

J is for Jasmine - by Megan Gourlay

I've made lots of these letters over the years, they make great gifts for children's bedroom doors, I even made some as a wedding gift order.  Rose Cafe has such a great colour range in the collection but I wanted something a bit softer so created my base using two different papers and then randomly torn, distressed and inked to get the aged look that goes with the theme of Rose Cafe.

I have twisted my filmstrip, tucking it behind the letter and and gluing it down in the middle to keep the curled effect - like you would with ribbon.

I've fussy cut some images, and die cut flowers and leaves from the scraps I had left, adding a Blossom and some chipboard stickers to create my cluster, so that it looks like its cascading through the filmstrip.

Rose Cafe Shadow Box!

Hey BoBunny Readers! Today is my turn to share the fabulous new "Sticker Stamps" and what fun I have had creating my little Dress Form Shadowbox with them. After painting and distressing this wooden box I chose to use my sticker stamps as a sort of "wallpaper." I wanted a very vintage distressed look.  I layered them over my Rose Cafe Garden paper. I distressed them with a brown ink then used a heavy hand with Crackle Medium.

Once it dried I used some brown ink over the cracks so they would be more visible. The dress form was created in a 3D fashion using Rose Cafe Pattern Paper. I also distressed my buttons by dying them in alcohol ink.

You can see in this photo how beautifully vintage these stamps look with that crackle finish! I highlighted the crackled look by adding some acrylic blocks over each sticker to magnify them!

In the page above, you can see that I've create the postcard look by simply adding a piece of the stamp sticker onto them. You can further detail them using some simple zig-zag stamp or doodle them in yourself.

On this second page, I've used some stamp stickers and attached them onto cardstock. Then, cut them out to form a banner with twine. This is another fun way to detail your misc me pages. Below are some close-ups on these pages.

January Blog Sketch Challenge!

It's time for a new sketch challenge and this month's sketch is wonderful in my opinion. I used it to create a romantic lay-out with the beautiful 'Rose Cafe' collection about my parents. I used the sketch as the basis of my lay-out, but interpreted it in a rather free way. I used the doily as the circle and used several cut out squares and a chipboard sticker on the place of the small rectangles in the sketch.

My background paper is a sheet of Double Dot card stock. I stamped on it with brown ink to make it look a bit more grungy.

The little squares in my design were all cut out from the "Bistro" paper. I attached some of them with foam tape, so they would stand out more. I also added pearls in the centers of some of the squares.

As a finishing touch I added two beautiful BoBunny blossoms and a couple of buttons. I think it's funny that I actually hardly ever used buttons on my lay-outs before BoBunny started making them. Now I can never have enough of them and use them on almost all of my projects! BoBunny's buttons are the best for sure!

Hello there BoBunny Fans!! Welcome to a new year, full of new goals, inspiration and exciting new things ahead for BoBunny!! If one of your goals is to try and stretch your supplies that little bit more, then this layout is for you!! Let's take a peek.

Happy Days Misc Me layout be Bernii Miller for BoBunny using the Rose Cafe collection.

I just adore the Rose Cafe collection and find it just so versatile and classic in its design. I especially love the papers in the collection that come with the 3x4 and the 6x4 card designs already done, These are always my go to and actually that is all I used to create this layout. 2 single sheets!

Happy Days Misc Me layout be Bernii Miller for BoBunny using the Rose Cafe collection.

Once I cut up all the cards from the patterned paper, it was just a matter of adding some matching accents from the noteworthy pack and sprinkling through some of the gorgeous Elegant wood shapes.

When adhering the photos to the 3x 4 cards I did not want to place the photos over the cute accents. So I used a sharp cutting blade and gently cut around the flowers to be able to tuck my photo in behind.

Luscious Gift Box!

Hello! Evgenia here today! This time I have played with my favourite collection out of this release-Rose Cafe, I love that it contains lots of colors and depending on your mood, the occasion, you can create in different colors.  I have madethe gift box. By using the die and the thick cardboard it came out very nice and it's quite a gift itself:) I went with more neutral background paper and then added a few embellishments in more pink colors (dark and light) and it all came together nicely.
