Ribbon Birthday Card with Denise

Hello BoBunny Fans

It's Denise here today, to share a special ribbon Birthday card with you.

Garden Grove_Ribbon Birthday Card_Denise_28 Mar 01

I used the Garden Grove stamp to create various backgrounds and features for this card.

I created a little tie for this card too, as a feature and also to keep the card neatly closed.

This card houses 3 tags in a little pocket for various messages and sentiments, along with lots of other areas for messages etc. and perhaps a little more personalized stamping,

Above is what the card looks like without the tags in the pocket and below is a look at the 3 individual tags.

I am going to use this card for a very special 50th Birthday for my sister, where I will add some photo's, messages and little sentiments.

I also created a video tutorial to show you the creative process.

Thanks ever so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope you were inspired and got some seeds of inspiration.

Christmas Treasure Christmas Cards with Denise

Hello BoBunny Fans

December is upon us and Christmas is just a few weeks away! So today, it's Denise here and I am sharing some Christmas Card inspiration, using the gorgeous Christmas Treasures.

Christmas Treasure_Christmas Cards_Denise_04 Dec 01

I used lots of layers to create dimension and interest. I also fussy cut a number of elements, which I raised and then adhered. All the edges were also roughed up to give a vintage and aged look.

On the second card I did pretty much the same and then also added some diecut leaves, some berries and some pearls. I also stamped and added wording to the card.

Handmade cards are special little treasures that you give along with your gifts. Have you made any handmade cards this year?

I hope that you were inspired by this beautiful collection and will make some Christmas cards too.

Wishing you a creative and festive day!

I created a video of the process and I hope that you will see that it's really quite easy.

Thanks so much for stopping by the BoBunny blog today and we really hope to see you back for the next project.

DIY Gift Bag Card with Denise

Hello BoBunny Fans!

It's Denise here today and I am so excited about sharing this Birthday Card with you today.
This card is in the shape and form of a gift bag.

Here's a view from the side so that you see the gift bag form.

I used 2 magnets under the flower clusters on the outside of the card and the inside, so that the card closes nicely and keeps its shape.

Celebrating Freedom_Birthday Card_Denise_13 Aug 03

I added noteworthy pieces to the front of the card and gave some of these pieces dimension with a rounding tool and mat. I then also added some pearlescent to the flower centres and stamens.

Now to give you and inside view of this card...

Celebrating Freedom_Birthday Card_Denise_13 Aug 05

I used noteworthy pieces again and to create the fold for the bottom of the card, I used washi tape, which was also the join for the 2 pieces of paper.

Celebrating Freedom_Birthday Card_Denise_13 Aug 06

Under the flower cluster above is where the second magnet was placed.

I used stitching all around the various pieces and this added to the gift bag theme.

I really had so much fun creating this gift bag Birthday Card and it will definitely be used for someone special.

I hope you this gives you some dimensional card ideas and we hope that you will pop back tomorrow for some more inspiration.

Have a fabulous day!

Winter Wishes and Pentart Magnetic Primer Paste and Paint with Denise

Hello BoBunny Fans!

It's Denise here today and I am so happy to share this little project with you.  I created a fridge magnet using the Winter Wishes Collection and some Pentart Magnetic Paste.

Fridge Magnet by Denise van Deventer using the BoBunny Winter Wishes Collection and Pentart Magnetic Paste

I started off with a 4x4 inch canvas, which I covered front and back with magnetic paste and I stenciled with the magnetic paste as well making it functional and decorative.

I then added some white acrylic paint over the stenciling for highlights and added all the other goodies.

The little round paper pearls below are held on with magnets and can be moved around the canvas.

Since I covered the back of the little canvas with magnetic paste too, this meant I could add some magnets and now it would adhere to my fridge door.

I fussy cut the ornate frame for this fridge magnet, as it just finished it off perfectly and gave it that vintage feel.

It was the first time that I had used the magnetic paste and I was really pleased with how quickly it dried and also with the magnetic result.

Thanks so much for stopping by the BoBunny blog today.  We hope to see you back tomorrow.

Have a fabulous day!

Party time with Felicity!

Hello Everyone!

It's Denise here today to share some fun and party items, using the Felicity Collection and Pentart Acrylic paints.

Party Items by Denise van Deventer using the BoBunny Felicity Collection and Pentart Acrylic Paint

I created a banner, using the fabulous BoBunny party goodies and then also created some gift boxes and decorative flowers.

These little gift boxes are great for small gifts and can even be used for little "Thank You" gifts.

You can see the handmade flowers too and these were made from BoBunny cardstock. They are going to be used on other projects, but are great for now as decorative pieces.

Here's another angle of the little gift box and it's pretty bow.

I used Pentart acrylic primer and paint to paint the banner backgrounds.  I then layered up doilies, die-cuts and various little goodies to create each piece.

I used some Pearlescents to add add another layer of interest.
