Home Is Where The Heart Is by Lynn Shokoples 

For this layout I was working with the soft and beautiful Soiree Collection. The layout is all about "who I am" and "what makes me smile". I'm quite a homebody and love spending time with my family or cuddling up with a hot cup of tea and a good book. So I searched for images that represented that and started crafting. The cards were all from the 12x12 paper and for the layers on the cards, I backed some of the photos with the Lattice Frame Craft Die and some of the paper from the 6x6 paper pad.

The layered chipboard is a really fun element that brings such dimension to the pages. Along with the Noteworthy and Buttons, the embellishments brought the photos to life. To adhere the photos, I used the Tear It Tape from Imagine Crafts. It's a double sided tape, so easy to pull apart and strong, OH it's strong! An amazing product.

I was playing with the Imagine Crafts Memento Dual Markers and had a little idea! I usually use the stickable stencils with glitter paste or glimmer spray, but what about markers and stencils?? I was so happy with the results! It gave the cards a soft accent which I loved!  Here are some close ups of the cards!

Magic With Transfer Solution!

I created for today scrapbook page using several new products by BoBunny like white gesso and Transfer Solution. I still have several products to try out! Can not wait to show you a project with crackle paste!

I made for you simple step by step tutorial how to use new products by BoBunny called Transfer Solution. If I could ask you to remember /believe in one thing this would be "laser print".

I was trying my best using regular copy and trust me - no way this can work so next time I had a chance I made several copies on laser printer. You must print your image or phrase on a laser printer.

Place  your copy face down on papers you want to use for transfer and make sure you secure it with tape.

Working on parts of copy paper use  Q-tip soaked in Transfer Solution and smear liquid in every direction.

When you are done with all image do it again starting from the top. You can also burnish the image with a pallet knife to help transfer the image.

Let it dry for a moment and  then lift it gently.

Now you can use it on your project!

March Blog Sketch Challenge!

Hi BoBunny Fans :)

Today is Sketch Challenge Day!! :)  and we have a real treat for you today!  This months sketch is designed by our very own Lynn Shokoples!!!

I've used the sketch with the lovely new Soiree Collection and the new Postale Stamps to create this layout of my great nephew - isn't he the cutest?!

To give the background a bit of oomph I've roughly painted it with two shades of pearlescents - Butterscotch and Graphite.  I wanted a muted background, enough that you could still see it but not so much that it took over from the design or photo, and pearlescents are perfect for this.

I've used a number of the stamps from the Postale set to create a collage effect behind my papers and embellishments.  I used the  Licorice ink pad but I wanted a more muted color, like grey instead of black because otherwise the stamps would take over the page.  To achieve this I inked my stamp up as usual and then stamped onto a piece of scrap paper, then straight onto my page.

BoBunny packaging is brilliant for using in your projects, it ties in with each range, so its the perfect match!

By the way!  I love how you can use the positive and the negative pieces from die cutting the new Twinkle Twinkle Die :)

Scrummy Soiree Decoupage & Craft Die layout!

Welcome BoBunny fans Bernii Miller here with you today to share with you how I have used two awesome new products that are newly released from BoBunny. The amazing fun decoupage paper that has endless possibilities and the new Ornate Doily dies.

I wanted to play around and see how well the decoupage paper would cut with the BoBunny dies. I am happy to share that they work wonderfully together. You need to be gentle separating the die from the paper, but the cuts turns out beautifully. So I decided I would cut a couple of the doily dies to use as matting for my flower cluster.

I thought I would also share a little of my process of how I created the background paper quickly. If you have not dabbled in any mixed media yet you really are missing out on so much fun. 

BoBunny has just released a ton of new product to make mixed media a breeze for everyone, from spatulas to gesso and everything in between.

So to start with I brushed on a layer of white gesso over the background paper. 

Once that dried I added a ton of  Postale Stamps to the background from a top left to bottom right flow. Then over the top I added a layer of Starling Stickable Stencil with modelling paste.

Then to start blending all the layers to the background paper I grabbed my watercolours and added 3 different colours to match. Then it was time to start embellishing. And below you can see the final result. If you look closely at the top left flower cluster you can see the subtle decoupage paper die I cut which is perfect to build a cluster on. I also used the decoupage paper as another layer under my photo.

Soiree & Mixed Media

I am in love in new Soiree collection and was so happy to create Mixed Media canvas for today's post.

I started from working with paper, gesso and stencils. Washi tape was added randomly in several places and different shapes of papers were added on the top of each other.

The Heart from the laser cut chipboard was painted with gesso and pearlescents.

Foils in gold are special addition on my canvas.

Different papers shapes from dies were stuffed under Vellum papers....

Off The Page With Soiree!

Hello BoBunny fans! It's Irene here and today I would like to share with you all an altered project featuring BoBunny newly released and gorgeous "Soiree" collection. This is such a sweet and soft collection with beautiful pastel colors.

I've chosen to alter an acrylic clipboard with this collection as a gift for my mum. This is a picture taken while she is in Japan.

Besides this collection, I've also used the "Serenity" stickable stencil which is perfect for this picture. This stencil consists of some orient inspired images which I think will be great for any travel pictures taken in Asia or Chinatown. Here are some close-ups.

I've used some glimmer spray and glitter paste to add more colors to this project.
