February Blog Class - Week 1

Fun in a drawer!  This project uses our Snow Day collection and is so much fun. I would love having this sit on a sofa table or shelve.
The tags, envelopes & mini albums sticking out of it, just make me smile!

Have fun putting this together. Remember, don't get overwhelmed and take it one step at a time.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me and ask.

And if you want to make this sweet box yourself here are the measurements. Just use some thick chipboard, space the dividers at every 3 inches, cover with the back of Snow Day Cards paper, and add a handle or nob. Then post it on our Facebook page to show us!

Piece of cake, right?? Enjoy the day and
I'll see you next week for part 2.

Happy Birthday
By: Lynn Shokoples
Designer TipMy little nephews birthday is coming up and he loves books where you open the flaps and find a surprise, so I thought I would make him a birthday card just like his book. So many fun stickers to choose from in the "Surprise Collection". I just adhered a separate piece of patterned paper to the inside, cut out the flaps and used a circle punch so he could open them up.

A HUGE thanks to ScrapThat! for letting us play along in there hop and for using one of our favorite lines in their kit this month, Powder Mountain!  And thanks to all the 'bunny' hoppers out there too!

Now for a little more inspiration Tara and Sam have each made a layout representing one of  their 2013 goals for the year.  What a fun way to document your intentions for the year.
They say... " A goal not written down is just a wish!"  (I don't know who they are, but they sure have a lot to say)
I've said it before and I'll probably say it again, but I love how versatile the Snow Day collection is, and for that matter....  I love how Sam used the Love Letter collection on a layout about goals. That's why we call them creative... they are always thinkin'.
I Will...

"There are so many things I want to do this year! Coming from a house full of sickies for the entire Christmas Holiday, it really makes me appreciate each and every second I DO spend with my family and friends. I would love to learn how to use my camera - properly - rather than just the auto setting. I want to hang out with my friends more often, want to go on a FEW dates with my husband - at least twice per month would be nice. I want to delight in the little things and cherish the time I spend with my family."

Every Little Inch
by Mireille Divjak
Story (as the journaling is in dutch): I have this extreme love for Caramel Macchiato. Thank goodness there isn't a Starbucks in my area otherwise I would prolly not fit through my front door anymore... at this moment I have to travel at least an hour to get one.. When I do I get so happy my little girl wanted to understand what the huge hype was all about. Normally I don't want her to try grown up things.. and I do think coffee is a grown up thing.. but I did understand her curiosity. I let her take a little sip and I had to grin when I saw how much she liked it and tried to drink everything I had.

Designer Tip: I split the dimensional stickers in multiple parts I loved the big build up hearts but I needed a few hearts for my banner.
Bo Bunny Supplies:

Patterned Paper: flutter, stripe, keys, journal, notes, flowers, hearts / Love Letters
Dimensional Stickers: Love Letters
Rub ons: Love Letters
Stamps: Love letters
