Beach Boy - Denise van Deventer

We had recently been on vacation to the coast and I thought that the Zip-A-Dee-Doodle Collection would be perfect for a "beach" page, as it has the lovely blues and greens! It is also such a fun collection and so is also perfect for this theme.

Fussy cut elements from this collection were layered and added to this page, which created texture, as well as interest on the page.

To add to this "beach" theme I added gauze and gesso, which gives one the feeling of the fish nets and also is a flowing element, which draws the eye across the page.

This photo was taken during their honeymoon in Spain. They just walked by picturesque building with a signboard, and without any preparation have treated themselves photo session.

In this LO I wanted to show how self sufficient collection of Zip-A-Dee-Doodle is. It almost does not need any supplements! Zip-A-Dee-Doodle paper, a little Zip-A-Dee-Doodle decorations, Zip-A-Dee-Doodle stamps and LO is ready!

Halloween Decor, Blog Teaser & Pincushion Collection Winner

We have a wonderful week of BOO-tiful Halloween inspiration planned for your enjoyment!

Don't miss the sneak peak of our November blog class challenge at the bottom of this post!

Last, but not least! We have our Pincushion collection winner, also announced at the bottom of this post!

Fright Delight Halloween Witches Hat by Juliana Michaels

This witches hat was decorated using the new Fright Delight collection. The base is a paper mache hat that I purchased from my local craft store and covered with patterned paper. I tore the different papers into small pieces and adhered them randomly to the paper mache hat with liquid adhesive. The hat was then embellished with various pieces from the Fright Delight 12 x 12 Chipboard and I fussy cut the skeleton witch from the Fright Delight Costume patterned paper. I then finished it with various BoBunny Blossoms and Jewels.  If you would like a step by step tutorial on how I made this Fright Delight Halloween Witches Hat, you can stop by my blog.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Costume, Creepy, Ghouls, Diamonds/ Fright Delight
Jewels: Fright Delight
Chipboard: Fright Delight 12 x 12
Lace: Clover
Blossoms: Clover Dahlia, Harvest Orange Daisy, Plum Purple Daisy, Plum Purple Pansy, Clover Zinnia

Fright Delight Halloween Mailbox by Tracee Provis

Halloween is such a fun holiday, and the Fright Night collection captures that element perfectly.

I was eager to use it to create something fun to represent the holiday theme, but what to create? I have had the mailbox idea for a while, and by fussy cutting some of the elements from the patterned paper, I knew they would be just right for this mini project.

First of all, I wanted to create a base for my mailbox to sit on, so I layered up some corrugated cardboard and covered it with the Double Dot Chocolate Stripe paper which has sort of a wood grain effect. I carefully cut the "Boo" banner from the Spooky paper and attached it to 2 wooden skewers to hang across the back of the base.

The actual mailbox itself is cut from Double Dot Shadow Vintage, which is a great quality textured cardstock, both strong and pliable, perfect for mini projects such as these.Underneath the mailbox is a graveyard, complete with pumpkins, gravestones and ghosts. I used a fern leaf punch to create the grass, and I fussy cut the skeleton and layered it behind the EEK cardstock sticker, which folds down flat when the box is open.

I used one of the brads from the collection attached some spiders with cotton thread for you to pull open the lid to reveal the haunted village inside.

There are so many great elements to this collection, the possibilities are endless, and I had to stop myself from adding more and more!

Hope you enjoyed looking at my Halloween Mailbox. It was such fun to create and of course made easy by using BoBunny products.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Spooky, Creepy, Dingbat, Ghouls/Fright Delight; Autumn Song/Autumn Song
Cardstock: Chocolate Stripe, Wasabi Stripe, Shadow Vintage, Citrus Flourish
Brads: Fright Delight
Cardstock Stickers: Fright Delight
