Tip: Use your supplies as a source of inspiration. The idea for my layout was inspired by the Dimensional sticker in the right hand corner of my photo which reads "Greetings from Paradise". So I thought it would be fun to create a letter type LO complete with envelope and stamps!

Layouts in under an hour

Sometimes you don't have a lot of time,
but you still want to get some scrapping in.

Today the girls have fun layouts they created in under an hour.
They have great tips for you too.

Tips: Use several strips for your basic design. I just cut several varied sized strips of different lengths and widths and layered them. It's a quick and easy way to add lots of layers in a jiffy.
~Use pre-cut embellishments and shaped papers. The tags are from the Noteworthy package. I only had to distress them since they were ready to go!
~Don't forget that you can get the look of a stitched border by just piercing at the corners and
stopping spots. So quick and easy!

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Mama-razzi2 PhotoBooth, Strike a Pose, Focus, Shutterbug, View Finder, Tripod.
Dimensional stickers: Mama-razzi2
Noteworthy: Mama-razzi2
Brads: Mama-razzi2
Chipboard: Mama-razzi2

Bloom
Gabrielle Pollacco
Tip: This may seem like a layout that took over an hour to create, but it wasn't! My tricks?
~ First I started with a page design that I had created before and just followed the design for this page. For me what takes the longest is all the fussing about, moving pieces, deciding on what to put where....so using the a design that I created before really helps in cutting the time factor down.
~ Bo Bunny makes loads of amazing and beautiful coordinating embellishments that makes dressing up a page fast and easy! Chipboard, blooms, lace...all made to match your layout, just peel and stick!
~ and finally I gather together all the materials I'll need to make up my page, inks, paints, sewing machine, punches....and have them ready to go. So I don't spend a lot of time while I'm making my page look for stuff. Following a preset design helps make it easy to know what things you will need as well.
Extra Tip: Another time saving thing I like to do is when I'm just sitting and watching TV I'll take some Clover Green Double Dot paper and just punch a whole lotta leaf designs from it and keep them in a little baggie ready to go for when I'm making up a bloom cluster for a page)

Easy & Inexpensive Layouts

We're working with our BB formula today....
This is to inspire you and show that it doesn't take a lot of time & money to make a fabulous layout when you have fabulous product.

We've used two of our new collections...

AND

Here's the formula...
and here are the layouts

First Camera
Carin McDonough

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper : Mama-Razzi, Contrast, Strike a Pose/Mama-Razzi2
Cardstock : Coffee Vintage Double Dot

Stickers : Mama-Razzi Combo Stickers
Chipboard : Mama-Razzi Layered Chipboard

"This is what was left after I had done my layout. As you can see there is still loads of stickers and chipboard and I always keep the strips of cardstock and patterned paper to use for layers, die cutting, punched shapes or to punch strips with a edge punch. The best part here is because I used the Contrast paper I have all those gorgeous little 4x6 and 3x4 journaling and decorative blocks to go in a Misc me album!"

Tip: Choose papers that have lots of elements to fussy cut and that also have backsides that allow for extra elements. I used the square elements in the Darkroom paper to anchor my design. It gave me a lot of different prints for the blocks, too.
Stitching can add a ton of detail. If you want to keep it quick, instead of stitching along the lines, just add piercing at the corners and places that you want your stops to be. (see close-ups) When using this technique, use all 6 strands of floss.
BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Mama-Razzi 2 Tripod, Darkroom and Contrast
Stickers: Mama-Razzi 2 Combo Sticker

Buttons: Mama-Razzi 2
Cardstock: Double Dot Burnt Orange Vintage

Now a small test....  what trick did we learn to make stitching easier??? Our new lines have started shipping, so watch for them at your local stores and online stores. We can't wait to see what you come up with.

Limited supplies? No problem.

Today we are using the formula we've used in the past to create our projects.
I know there are some of us out there that like to cram something into every little space on our pages (me)
But you really can get great results with just a few products.
Here's the formula in case you forgot...

3 sheets of patterned paper
1 sheet of cardstock
1 sheet of stickers
1 package of embellishments of your choice

Candy Cane
Jolanda Meurs

Supply List:
Patterned paper: Mistletoe Twas the night/Pucker up/Chevron
Cardstock: Double Dot Wasabi Flourish
Stickers: Mistletoe Combo stickers
Extra embellishments: Clover Daisy Blossoms

Je T'aime
Romy Veul
Designer Tip: Something I always do when I make lay-outs, is cutting away all parts of the paper that aren't visible on the front side. For example when I matted my lay-out on the 'Flower' paper I cut out an 11x11" square from the inside. I like to use a lot of layers on my lay-outs and in this way I can do so without using a lot of paper.

Supply List:
Patterned Paper: Flowers, Keyes, Notes/ Love Letters
Double Dot Cardstock: Chiffron Flourish
Stickers: Love Letters Combo Sticker, Love Letters Dimensional Stickers

Christmas
Robbie Herring

On Robbie's recipe, she substituted ribbon for cardstock.
That's what recipe's are all about.. and or subtract a little and make it your own.
 Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper Mistletoe Dots (2) and Mistletoe Stripe
Stickers: Mistletoe Combo
Chipboard: Mistletoe 12x12

"I decided to do the strips because I always find I have lots of thinner strips left over from my papers so I thought this would be a good way to use them."
"The journalling is all about my youngest son who has gone through a few stages of wearing some very strange items when he slept. Various eye wear was one of the most popular things, I never knew what I would find him wearing when I went to check up on him at night!"
Carin also provided us all with a sketch! Thanks Carin.

It's EASY to ALTER

Today we've got some fun an easy altered items for you
to try.  With home decor being so popular in the paper world...
we wanted to share a little inspiration with you all.

Bless Your Heart & Home Wall Hanging
by Juliana Michaels
Designer tip: I think it is fun to think outside the box when creating altered projects.
For this wall hanging I used 3 pages from the Apple Cider Mini Album as the base.
I adhered them together overlapping the middle pumpkin onto the other 2 pumpkins.
I then embellished it with a variety of stickers, Noteworthy pieces and fussy cut images.
The little girl, little boy and 4 of the pumpkins are fussy cut from various papers.
I further embellished them with glitter glue and jewels.
I don't know about you guys, but I can't get enough of Apple Cider!
Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Journey, Cut Outs, Pumpkin Patch/Apple Cider

We all have little baskets, boxes or trinkets sitting around that we can alter.
So much love going on for the new blossoms.
Bo Bunny Supplies:
Paper: Serenade Poppies and Stripes
Trinkets: Serenade

Smile
by Romy Veul
Designer Note: To decorate the top of my treasure box I used mainly fussy cut and
sticker flowers that I layered using foam tape. I adhered a trinket and a bee on top
of them and that's it. You don't need a lot to embellish your altered items.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned paper: Busy Bee, Daydream, Cut Outs/ Hello Sunshine
Stickers: Hello Sunshine Combo Sticker
Trinkets: Hello Sunshine
Jewels: Hello Sunshine

Thankful Altered Wooden Pumpkins
by Debbie Sherman

Designer Tip: After painting the 2 wooden pumpkins I adhered patterned paper to them using Modge Podge. I then went over them with another coat of modge podge. After they were dry I overlaped the smaller pumpkin to the larger pumpkin and adhered with a glue gun. I then layer my embellishments by using Foam Squares to pop them up, this allowed me to add more embellishments behind my layers giving my project extra dimension.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Apple Cider Collection:Apple Cider Hickory, Pumpkin Patch, Bounty, Orchard, Afternoon, Dot, Cut Outs
Brads: Apple Cider
Jewels: Apple Cider
Chipboard: Liberty 12 x 12; Apple CiderChipboard
Flowers:Apple Cider Market Petals

Additional Supplies I used:
Foam Squares, Zots Therm O Web
Modge Podge - Plaid
Hot glue and gun
2 Wooden pumpkins
Acrylic Paint in Mango - Plaid
Ink - Colorbox

What do you have laying around that you can alter???  Jump up and go get it,
them make sure you share it with us... we want to see what you come up with.
