Christmas Card Kit
Robbie Herring
Designer Tip:  I love the Christmas Card Kits that Bo Bunny makes. This is the kit from last years Father Christmas. It is such and easy way to make beautiful cards in a jiffy! I chose to start with the kit, keep the design and add some personal touches of ribbon and lace
Some ideas for using lace and ribbon.
Thread thin ribbon through the lace to make a ruffle.
Use lace to embellish the chipboard Christmas tree. Use a strong adhesive and pinch the lace to make the ruffles. Trim along the edges of the tree. Finish off by adding a bow to the top of the tree.
Use scissors to cut a slit through all three layers of the paper poinsettias.
Wrap ribbon around the card and pull through the center of the flowers. Tie a bow.
Bo Bunny Supplies:
Card Kit: Father Christmas
Bo Bunny Lace: Clover Lace
Double Dot Ribbon: Cranberry, Almond and Evergreen

Are you inspired to use a little ribbons and lace? I know I am...

Your card doesn't have to be Christmas, it just needs to use
Double Dot ribbon or our new vintage lace, and your choice
of Bo Bunny paper.
There are lots of choices, so the possibilities are endless.
We can't wait to see what you come up with.

You have until January 6, 2013 to add your card.

We will randomly choose from the entries and send you out a
bag-of-happiness (Bo Bunny goodies)
Have Fun!!

The winner of Novembers card challenge

Limited supplies? No problem.

Today we are using the formula we've used in the past to create our projects.
I know there are some of us out there that like to cram something into every little space on our pages (me)
But you really can get great results with just a few products.
Here's the formula in case you forgot...

3 sheets of patterned paper
1 sheet of cardstock
1 sheet of stickers
1 package of embellishments of your choice

Candy Cane
Jolanda Meurs

Supply List:
Patterned paper: Mistletoe Twas the night/Pucker up/Chevron
Cardstock: Double Dot Wasabi Flourish
Stickers: Mistletoe Combo stickers
Extra embellishments: Clover Daisy Blossoms

Je T'aime
Romy Veul
Designer Tip: Something I always do when I make lay-outs, is cutting away all parts of the paper that aren't visible on the front side. For example when I matted my lay-out on the 'Flower' paper I cut out an 11x11" square from the inside. I like to use a lot of layers on my lay-outs and in this way I can do so without using a lot of paper.

Supply List:
Patterned Paper: Flowers, Keyes, Notes/ Love Letters
Double Dot Cardstock: Chiffron Flourish
Stickers: Love Letters Combo Sticker, Love Letters Dimensional Stickers

Christmas
Robbie Herring

On Robbie's recipe, she substituted ribbon for cardstock.
That's what recipe's are all about.. and or subtract a little and make it your own.
 Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper Mistletoe Dots (2) and Mistletoe Stripe
Stickers: Mistletoe Combo
Chipboard: Mistletoe 12x12

 Happy Birthday
Agnieszka Piskorz
 Supplies Used:
Paper: Firewood, Starry night, Falling stars/ Camp a lot
Cardstock: Frost dot
Stickers: Combo Stickers On the Go
Chipboard: Whoo ligans

Mixin' things up!

Today's post is showing how we don't have to just
use one collection of paper when making a layout.
It's fun to mix and match collections and create your own combinations!

Ones Destination
by Juliana Michaels
Designer Tips: I used the colors from the photos to help select the colors of patterned papers for my layout. I looked for papers that had the color wanted and I was able to find neutral patterns that were perfect for these photos. I also fussy cut the map and globe images from the Detour Globe Trotting paper and used them to create a lighter colored background paper by layering them on the Camp A Lot Dot paper.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Dot/Camp A Lot; Boxes, Stripe/Mistletoe; Baggage Claim, Globe Trotting and Cut Outs/Detour; Poppies/Serenade
Stickers: Home Sweet Hotel Cardstock Sticker/ Detour; Serenade Dimensional Stickers
Jewels: Serenity

Treasure the Moment
by Tomoko Takahashi

 Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Tomoko, Garden/ Serenity, Serenade, Dot, Dragonfly, Stripe, Sunrise, Trellis, Cut Outs/ Serenade
Noteworthy: Serenade
Rub-ons: Serenade
Trinkets: Apple Cider

All colours
Romy Veul
Designer Tip: Papers from a different collection can make a perfect accent on your lay-out.
The neutral Ambrosia paper was the perfect paper to balance the warm colours in my lay-out.
Also don't hesitate to use stamps or embellishments from different collections.
They often match surprisingly well.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned paper: Dot, Hickory, Orchard, Stripe/ Apple Cider; Sunflower/ Forever Fall; Trellis/ Ambrosia
Blossoms: Denim Daisy
Jewels: Apple Cider
Chipboard: Apple Cider Layered Chipboard
Noteworthy: Apple Cider, Forever Fall
Stamps: Ambrosia, Serenade

I hope you all are enjoying fall and the beautiful colors and the crisp
weather. Don't forget to join our blog hop tomorrow for
World Card Making Day.  Have a good one!!

Layouts with limited supplies

Today we are making one page layouts with our formula.
In case you've forgotten, it's as follows...

3 sheets of patterned paper
1 sheet of cardstock
1 sheet of stickers
1 package of embellishments of your choice

I think you're going to love what you can do with such a few products!!

Your Smile
Tara Orr
Designer Tip: To lengthen the life of your embellies and stretch their use, don't hesitate to cut them in half, disassemble them, paint them, mist them, stamp on them, etc. Remember, all of your embellishments are alterable. I tore apart most of my flowers and tucked some of them under my papers and kept some as is. I also took off the centers of some of the flowers and used them as embellishments around my photo.
 Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Journey, Cut-Outs, Dot/Apple Cider
Stickers: We Are Family Cardstock Stickers/Apple Cider
Cardstock: Gingerbread Vintage
Blossoms: Buttercup Daisy
(Stamps: Urban Acrylic, Et Cetera Clear, Midnight Frost Clear)

 Best Friends
  Agnieszka Piskorz
Designer tip: My picture is very colorful, so I went bright background. Colored strips of paper pointed out the picture. I try to choose colors that match the pictures.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Around, Postage/Weekend Market ; Mistletoe Chevron;
Cardstock: Chiffon Journal
Rub ons: Detour
Stickers: Combo Stickers Camp a Lot

 Out in the Woods
Sarah Eclavea
Designer Tips: When using a few supplies cut up patterend paper to make your own. I cut out the trees from the Camp-A-Lot paper to create my tree embellishments and cut my scraps to create a banner. I saved all my scraps to create banners on cards and other projects.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterend Paper: Camp-a-lot, Firewood, Starry Night/ Camp-A-Lot
Stickers: Combo Stickers/ Camp-A-Lot
Chipboard: 12x12 Chipboard/ Camp-A-Lot

Spring Break
Robbie Herring
Designer Tips: Make your stickers go further by using them as embellishments and in the place of title. To give mine more the look of embellishments, I added lots of foam dots.
Also, try keeping to specific shapes to pull your page together. Since I used squares for my paper design, I chose to use round brads for my embellishing. Punched circles and circle stickers compliment the brads and make layering the embellishments easy.
Ideas for more uses: Brads are such an easy embellishment to work with.
They will fit pretty much anywhere. I keep my left over brads in a drawer so
I can pull them out for added detailing on my pages.
 Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper-Detour Stripe, Cut Outs, Recalculating
Double Dot Cardstock-Cranberry Dot
Stickers-Detour Home Sweet Hotel
Brads-Detour

These girls make me feel like anythings possible!  So if you happen to be
on a budget or you don't have a lot of time... make sure to take note and don't
forget to share your creations with us!
You guys are the best!!!
