Family Is A Gift Home Decor!

Good Morning Everyone! This week we will learn how to  incorporate any Misc Me products into any project and show how they will fit with
anything! . Cool idea isn't it?
So today I would like to share with you little tin, which is a little decor piece. :)

Having made the base (covering the tin with the gesso and Glimmer Spray), I added as a backing circle of  Kraft Canvas Pleated Lace.

The inscription was carved out of  the Misc Me Heritage Pocket Squares.

A few Double Dot Jewels added a vintage shine to this lovely tin. ;)

Flags I cut from the remnants of the same paper that I used in this work.

Summery Layout!

Hi! Today I'd like to share with you one of my summer LO. The most variable paper for all  LO backgrounds, I think, is Double Dot Cardstock. Because this paper is very bright and has a lot of options for color - and everyone can choose the one that he needs.

Today, I liked the Kiwi Chevron, it is green as spring grass. And then I added to this "grass" some juicy fruit - lime, orange, watermelon -very summery!

Brilliant splashes of Glimmer sprays (with gold particles) added bit of sun to the LO.

By the way, all the inscriptions, except "" if not now when" are cut from BB paper (including the tape with the name of the sheets of paper).

Sensationally Simple!

Hello, Maria here! I love patterned kraft paper. It can be used to decorate any LO or cards, whatever the density of it. Kraft is very beautiful! Always! When you have on hand some yummy plain kraft paper, and even a package made from a  plain kraft paper, then the world is your ocean! Plain Kraft paper can be used as a basis for a mini-album, for example ... But today I decided to make some fun gift bags from BoBunny's wonderful Kraft bags.

Making a nice package for a gift is easy! And even easier to make a package for a set of two gifts!
See how using simple means you can achieve great results!

Two packages of different sizes, decorated in the same style.

Look at the stages of decoration:
1. Stickable Stencils + ink
2. background stamping
3. word stamp with the "shadow" (simle way to have great result!)
4. doily
5. emallishment, made of carved stamp imprint
6. small piece of adhesive film strip

Bo Bunny Supply List:
Kraft Gift Bag: Plain
Film Sticker: Souvenir
Stamps: Captured, Autumn song, Romance
Ink Pad: Licorice, Wildberry
Stickable Stencils: Brocade
Doilies: 4in Small

Stencils and Two Exits!

Hi, it's Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell) here for you today.
And I'd like to share with you my philosophical canvas.

There is a saying in Russian: any desperate situation has at least two exits (In Russian, the words "desperate" and "exit" have the same root It would be more correct to translate it like "any situation without exit has at least two exits".).
I do not know whether there is a counterpart in English, but I am sure that people of all nationalities know this truth!
There are three exits on my canvas - it's a reminder that no one should never lose heart!

As you can see, these doors are located on the old, dilapidated walls, whose appearance could take away any hope ... But otpimizm should be in every heart!

Masks and vintage colors (black, white, antique gold and copper) helped me achieve the look of an old wall. Pieces of paper tape with text added visibility of wall without age.

Cards To Inspire!

Hi everyone! It's Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell) here for you today! I want to share with you two of my new card. The first one is "Love you beyond the stars".

As you understand, it's made for the beloved :).

Love you beyond the stars card by Maria Potapovich using BoBunny Star-Crossed collection and Adhesive Film Strip

Frame was beautiful from the start, but I decided to add a little sparkle by using the glitter paste and acrylic paint.

The card has several layers, but the most interesting layer is made of the Adhesive Film Strip - it is transparent, and it adds the depth!
Of course, I could not forget about white drops - so card has become brighter!

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned paper:  Feather/Star-Crossed, Charcoal/Double Dot
Buttons: Star-Crossed
Adhesive Film Strip: Star-Crossed
Noteworthy: Star-Crossed
Glitter Paste: Copper
Layered Chipboard: Star-Crossed
Doilies: 4in Small

The second one is the "One day we'll meet again" card. For this card I decided to use a fairly bright and slightly mystical colors - deep purple (heheh), pink and white. As you can see the Adhesive Film Strip's transparency again added depth and a little mystery!

A little pink accent ( dot of Blush Pearlescents) added more interest!

As you can see, I've used the paste and spray with a suitable tinge. Quite a small piece of map (real map!) and a small piece of scrap paper completed the composition!

Your Happy Place

Everybody has a happy place....you know that thing or place that just calms your soul. Well, why not scrap it? Maria has done just that below!

Everyone has some kind of place in which they feel good, where they are always smiling...
It can be a city in which you spent your childhood, or the street where once there was something very pleasant, or even a tiny piece of land, which somehow heals the soul...

Today my LO is about this.

To give the impression of the old place, I used a dark and "gold" tones, as well as a little weathered in the form of bleaching with the gesso some places.

As always, I could not resist and used labels from paper sheets!
For example, here this: charcoal chevron;

Or this: NY - are two last letters from "Bo Bunny"
Or...maybe... Do you know what are the multicolored circles (dots)? ;)

And I would like to tell you what products I have used to create this scrapbook page. So...

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper:  Charcoal Chevron Dot, Madeleine: Tiles, Happiness and Pincushion
Double Dot Glimmer Spray: Bronze, Gold

Marvelous Madeleine mixed media cards!

Mixed Media plus Madeleine equals Magic! You can't go wrong with these beauties!

Hi, BoBunny Fans! It's Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell) here for you today.

I brought with me today two mixed media cards and want to share them with you!

They are made using the same materials with the same sketch in the same style.
I decided to do it on purpose to show you that even making exactly the same action with the same material, you can still get a different result - a small bonus from the mixed media style!

The first is "Happy Day" card.

You can see a bit of gesso in the background, three types of sprays, a few stamps... The next layer includes applying  the ink through a stencil, as well as gouache pens doodling.

Frame with a bird cut from a piece of paper, perfectly matched the color and created a the compositional center of card. In this photo you can see that the frame is slightly raised on a thin adhesive tape on the background.

If you look closer, you will see that in some places the background the gold paste is lying - the card immediately acquires a festive feel and shine with it!

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned paper: Allure/Madeleine
Double Dot Jewels: Think Pink
Stamps: New Romance, New Captured
Stickable Stencils: Brocade
Glimmer Spray: Tutu, Mint, Bronze
Glitter Paste: Gold
Ink Pad: Licorice, Wildberry, Emerald

The second card - "Memories"

This time I was not even interested to talk about how this card was made.
Why?
Because it is made exactly the same way as the previous one!

A little gesso, Glimmer spray, stamps, ink +Stickable stencil, gouache pens doodling, paper frame, a bit of the gold Glitter paste... -  nothing new!

In this more detailed photo you can see that the gold paste was applied directly onto the frame - very spectacular, I tell you!

Patterned paper: Allure/Madeleine
Double Dot Jewels: Aqua
Stamps: New Romance, New Captured
Stickable Stencils: Brocade
Glimmer Spray: Frost
Glitter Paste: Gold
Ink Pad: Licorice, Wildberry, Emerald

Thank you for your attention, and you can try to find differences in the lists of materials for these two cards!
Have creative day!

We are just loving this every day life theme! It is so fun to learn something new about the design team. Enjoy these fun layouts from Maria, Kaori, and Juliana! Could you create a page about the same things as any of these ladies?!

Everyday Routine by Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell)

Ahaha, my everyday life! My everyday life - is daily routine, even though it sounds very boring.
And every day my face looks that way - I do try to smile, but my eyes are closing themselves because I terribly want to sleep.

Fuss and a huge amount of work in progress, the cries and noise, the constant haste mail and e-mails, the Internet and the usual household chores - that's what my everyday life is!

I did not like it very much when I was a girl. But I was a veterinary medical student, studying for the national examination, I started drinking coffee to shake off my drowsiness. Now, coffee has become indispensable to my life.

I added  a little blue ink and white gesso to give a fresh feeling.

Cut some Balloons from "Balloons" paper and to add a three-dimensional effect, I adhered them using double sided foam tape.

Running Scrapbook Page by Juliana Michaels

Running Scrapbook Page by Juliana Michaels featuring BoBunny Modern Missa

As you can see from my journaling, I started running this past May. It has become a part of my weekly routine, as I run 3 times a week to keep in shape. The regular exercise has done a world of good for me in more ways than one and I plan to continue doing it.

I took all of these photos using my iPhone and I have been posting them on Instagram to keep track of my running routine. I thought it would be fun to select some of these photos and create a layout to help record my running and why I started. I selected one photo from each month since I started running, so these represent May through August.

The color of my shoes inspired me to use the Modern Miss collection for this layout. I embellished it with a combination of chipboard, Noteworthy, stickers and brads from the collection. I also included some of the new Kraft Wood Shapes to continue the theme of photographing and recording my running.

Love card by Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell)

This card about love. What is love? What is it? She quickly flies into our lives, just like a dragonfly - you do not have time to look back, and she's right in your heart! But it also is constant ... and it lasts as long as our clock is ticking - the heart ... This card about the fact that love is in our hearts always and every second!

Patterned Paper:  Keepsake/Somewhere In Time, Endless Love/Head Over Heels, Periodical/Enchanted Garden

Hello card by
 Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell)

This card is very simple. I used stamps cut paper circles and vellum to reduce the level of "roughness" here to create the background. This card is made just to say hello.

Ah, yes! Here again, a lot of different colors of pens - I like these light hints of color!

Fairy Card by Evgenia Petzer

It's no secret that I prefer dimensional cards, one easy way to get this effect is to stick the papers (layers) only in their middle and to leave the sides loose, you can see below the detailed shot and the doily has this effect and it brings extra air to my project.

You Are Beautiful Card by Evgenia Petzer

What I absolutely love about the majority of BoBunny lines is that they have lots of papers for fussy cutting, it really provides you with so many options, you can create your own fairy tales with this line.
