Our Lil Monster Party by Bernii Miller
For my project today, I created a home decor piece perfect for all of us dog lover's out there! I used a wire frame base and covered it with strips of patterned paper from the Happy Tails collections and strips of Double Dot Cardstock.
Next, I added a collar using a chipboard piece from the Happy Tails 12x12 Chipboard. I created the dog tag by fussy cutting it from the License patterned paper. The nose was hand cut from the back side of the same paper. I then added jewels for the eyes to give him a true puppy dog face! For more detailed instructions on how I created this project and the wire base I used, please visit my blog: 17turtles.com.

Our Lil Monster Party by Bernii Miller
Well today for my off the page project I decided to create a little party pack for my nephews upcoming 3rd birthday party. I thought that the Our Lil Monster collection would be perfect to create a fun and colourful party set.
I started with creating a banner using up pieces from the noteworthy pack and then gave my silhouette portrait a work out creating lots of paper rosettes, and then by hand I made lots of fun pin-wheels. Then just for some extra sparkle and fun, I used some dimensional magic in the corner of the larger pin-wheels and sprinkled some silver chunky glitter that I grabbed from my local cheap shop.
Then to create the little clear buttons for the rosettes I used my circle epiphany tool , a perfect finishing touch.
I had so much fun creating these little straw flags. Using the strips off the 12 x 12 paper paper I save the little Our Lil Monster logo and used them directly on the little flags. They are a perfect fit.
I also made a few party bags with elements from the paper banner , creating little clusters and sprinkles of glitter.
If you have a little party coming up , why not consider creating a few fun handmade treasures or the party. Your kids will remember the special little touches that you made just for them . If you would like some more ideas or perhaps the measurements for the pin-wheels and a few other instructions I made then head on over to my blog at weekendatberniis .
