Everyday Life Layouts Round 3

This is what we like to call round 3 of everyday life. So many precious moments captured and preserved!

Let Me Take A Selfie by Lynn Shokoples

When I saw the theme for Everyday Life I immediately thought of my daughter Nicole and her rescue pup Jackson. Almost daily she sends me a selfie of the two of them. I smile and laugh at the fun she has. I'm beginning to think  that the dog knows when the camera comes out and smiles. I think he is getting use to selfies!! When I saw the "My Buddy" patterned paper from the Happy Tails collection, with the three photo frames I thought it was perfect for a few of the selfies. I did a mix of the Happy Tails and Modern Miss collection for my project. They both had such fun elements I could use. I love that BoBunny's collections mix and match so well. For the strips I did a combination of paper from the 6x6 paper pad and bits of washi tap and border strips from the Combo Stickers. For the title I combined the stickers from both the collections, I thought it made the title "pop".

I cut into the patterned paper and tucked the photo under the printed embellishments for more depth. Some stamping and some chipboard pieces finished off the frames.

Buttons are the best little embellishments to tuck by photos or to just group them together and make a cluster on your page. The Modern Miss 12x12 chipboard had all the days of the week, so I randomly placed them around my layout.

The Usual by Irene Tan

I love capturing photographs of everyday life surrounding me. This is one that happens very often. Chloe and her grandma would fall asleep in the car whenever they are on a car trip. This is such a precious moment captured on film. I've used the "Somewhere In Time" collection in a feminine way to showcase this photograph.

This Is My Everyday by Romy Veul

Sometimes I can be really envious of our cats, as they spend most of their hours eating, drinking and sleeping and don't have to care about much else than those three things. When I found out about the theme of today's blogpost, I immediately knew I wanted to make a lay-out about our cats' good life. Happy Tails is still one of my favourite collections, as it's perfect for scrapping my pets. I used both the wonderful papers and some of the coordinating embellishments from this collection.

I thought the new wood frame with the text 'This is my everyday' suited the theme "Everyday life" really well. I used it to frame our cat Beertje and clustered most of my embellishments around the frame to make my photo the main focus of this lay-out. The other embellishments that I used on this lay-out include the 12 x 12 chipboard pieces, a layered chipboard sticker, a wood film strip and a cat from the Noteworthy pack.

Everyday Life Layouts

While scrapping, crafting, and preserving the memories of the big moments are an absolute must, have you taken time recently to just scrap something that happens in your everyday life?

This week our theme is everyday life. Share your favorite everyday life creations with us on the BoBunny Facebook page!

Scraps Of Everyday Life by Tracee Provis

As scrappers we record our lives through our pages. When I was asked to create with the theme everyday life I wanted to make something that represented the little snippets that make up my life. I always have the camera close to hand ready to capture those memories so this picture was a perfect fit for my layout.

I wanted to add some smaller pictures of the things my camera is always focused on so I printed them off and fitted them into the Kraft Wood film strip frame. I used one of the stamps from the Distressed Textures stamp set to create some pattern to my Sugar Dot background paper and I also stamped over some of the patterned paper too.

The page itself was made from mostly scraps of Bo Bunny collections. I have a special box for them that sits on my desk, I love some of the irregular shapes that these scraps create and by adding some fussy cut elements and stickers it brings the whole layout together.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Graduation/Pop Quiz, Bundle/Baby Bump, Balloons, Passage/Somewhere In Time
Cardstock: Sugar Dot
Chipboard: Pop Quiz 12 x 12 Chipboard, Modern Miss 12 x 12 Chipboard

En bil till (One more car) by Ulrika Wandler

My everyday life consists of driving my car to the train station in the morning going to work, and then of course home again in the evening.
When the weather is good I take my bicycle, but all winter long I drive my car!

The perfect papers and embellishments for my photo come from Our 'Lil Monster. I love the bright red color in that collection! Almost as much as I love my red car! ;-)

The bar code is from a BoBunny package and I thought it could represent the cost for buying a car... ;-)
But the car was of course more expensive than any BoBunny product...

Patterned paper: All-Star, Curiosity, Mischief/Our Lil Monster
Cardstock: Sugar Double Dot
Stickers: Our Lil' Monster Combo Sticker

Fur Ever Friends by Amy Voorthuis

I have to admit when I was asked to create a layout about my everyday life a lot of things popped up in my mind. But one thing the most & that's walking with our pup every night! Everyday around eight all four of us walk a hugh route in the park. Fibi enjoy's it so much because she can walk free.

This picture was taken when Kevin & Fibi where at the waterside just before she accidentally fell in :-))) and brrrr it was so cold!

The BoBunny blossoms are my favorite flowers to work with. The one with the paw print on it is partial handmade and partial BoBunny. The top layer I created myself with fabric which is my new addiction. The rest of the flowers are all BoBunny.

Milo MakeMyChe Juliana Michaels for BoBunny #makemyche #bobunny #happytails #dog #homedecor

For my project today, I created a home decor piece perfect for all of us dog lover's out there! I used a wire frame base and covered it with strips of patterned paper from the Happy Tails collections and strips of Double Dot Cardstock.

Next, I added a collar using a chipboard piece from the Happy Tails 12x12 Chipboard. I created the dog tag by fussy cutting it from the License patterned paper. The nose was hand cut from the back side of the same paper. I then added jewels for the eyes to give him a true puppy dog face! For more detailed instructions on how I created this project and the wire base I used, please visit my blog: 17turtles.com.

Our Lil Monster Party by Bernii Miller

Well today for my off the page project I decided to create a little party pack for my nephews upcoming 3rd birthday party. I thought that the Our Lil Monster collection would be perfect to create a fun and colourful party set.

I started with creating a banner using up pieces from the noteworthy pack and then gave my silhouette portrait a work out  creating lots of paper rosettes, and then by hand I made lots of fun pin-wheels. Then just for some extra sparkle and fun, I used some dimensional magic   in the corner of the larger pin-wheels and sprinkled some silver chunky glitter that I grabbed from my local cheap shop.

Then to create the little clear buttons for the rosettes I used my circle epiphany tool , a perfect finishing touch.

I had so much fun creating these little straw flags. Using the strips off the 12 x 12 paper paper I save the little Our Lil Monster logo and used them directly on the little flags. They are a perfect fit.

I also made a few party bags with elements from the paper banner , creating little clusters and sprinkles of glitter.

If you have a little party coming up , why not consider creating a few fun handmade treasures or the party. Your kids will remember the special little touches that you made just for them . If you would like some more ideas or perhaps the measurements for the pin-wheels and a few other instructions I made then head on over to my blog at weekendatberniis .

Cardstock: Wild Berry- Double Dot.
Stickers: Our lil Monster Cardstock, Our lil Monster Combo sticker.

So many layouts and so little time! Enjoy!

Timeless by Gabrielle Pollacco

I was so excited when my Bo Bunny package showed up this past week and I just immediately had to dive in and play with the gorgeous Somewhere in Time collection!  I just adore the cogs & gears mixed with feminine things like the corset design.

I began by first sitting down and fussy cutting a bunch of my favorite elements from the collection, like the steampunk style corset and a few of the gears.  For the corset I added a little more dimension to it by adding a fabric ruffle and some cheesecloth netting.  I also added some shimmering black glitter glue and some gold glitter glue (Stickles 'Platinumn') to accent the design.

I used foam pop dots to apply my cut out cogs/gears to the page and then layered over them with the smaller Kraft wood gears from Bo Bunny.  I finished the look with some pearl jewels and shimmering brads.

I chose blooms in neutrals and the sea foam color in the patterned paper in this collection to accent my page. But before I added my blooms I first did a little light painting behind the photo area with some Tim Holtz 'Sea Glass' distress paint and then did a little work with texture paste and a stencil.  I also tried to add a little elegance to my page by stamping with the new Bo Bunny Gateway Stamp.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Antiquity, Beauty, Chrononaut/Somewhere In Time
Stickers: Somewhere In Time
Stamps:  Gateway Large Stamps
Kraftwood Gear embellishments
Jewels: Love Letter

Eddy by Ulrika Wandler

My two sons have two bunnies, they are called Eddy and MÃ¥ns. This layout shows one of them, the leader of the little group, Eddy!

When I received the gorgeous Happy Tails collection a felt a bit sad that I didn't have a dog to scrap pictures about. Then I saw that a few of the embellishments actually had a bunny on them! Perfect for me!

I made the background paper a bit "dirty" with some mist and stamps.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Happy Tails, Cat Nap, License, Purrfect, Menagerie/Happy Tails
Stickers: Happy tails Combo sticker; Happy Tails Cardstock sticker
Jewels: Happy Tails
Chipboard: Happy Tails 12x12
Stamps: Stained Textures stamp
Washi tape: Black & White patterned washi tape

Place in Time by Amy Voorthuis

I have to admit Somewhere In Time is my new favorite collection by BoBunny it has so many steampunk elements like gears, balloons, pretty flowers and my personal favorite corsets.

First I cut out the balloons and pretty blue corset which is totally the prettiest thing BoBunny has ever made.

For this layout I used some gorgeous stamps and just randomly stamped around the borders with StazOn timber brown paint. I also used paste with a word stencil and clock stencil and then added paint to it.

The word love I cut out from the 6 x 6 paper pad they are so handy for just the little things on your layout. Then I distressed the borders and layered it on top of another piece of paper and cut out and distressed it again, to give it more depth I used foam tape to adhere it on my layout.

The picture is one of my husbands grandparents on their wedding day way back, I love to use old pictures especially with this pretty collection.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Antiquity, Beauty, Chrononaut, Balloons, Somewhere In Time/Somewhere In Time
6 x 6 Paper Pad: Somewhere In Time
Jewels: Baby Bump
Kraft Wood: Shapes Elegant, Gears
Stamps: Stitches, Invited, Stained Textures, Powder Mountain
Washi Tape: Black & White Patterned

PURRfect by Tracee Provis

I love the 12 x 12 Chipboard packs that coordinate with each Bo Bunny Collection, they are great for all types of project. This cat silhouette from the Happy Tails collection inspired me to make this card it is a PURRfect fit.

I used Wildberry Vinatge Dot cardstock cut into a heart shape as a base and then I cut up some strips of Songbird from the Avenues Collection which I then layered across the heart along with some black. I used 2 Bo Bunny Blossoms and created my own rolled rose to add to the cluster. A few scattered Jewels added the finishing touch.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Avenues, Songbird/Avenues; License/Happy Tails; Ghouls/Fright Night;
Cardstock: Wildberry Vintage Dot
Chipboard: 12 x 12 Happy Tails
Jewels: Autumn Song
Blossoms: Wildberry Dahlia

Hi by Tracee Provis

I often found myself struggling when it came to more masculine cards but the fun fresh Our Lil Monster Collection puts all those struggles to an end with the bright colors and cute little monster images. I whipped this card up in no time at all.

I fussy cut images for both the front and the inside of this card. I added a few foam pads to the monsters eyes on the front of the card which made him "come to life" a little more.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper; Mischief, Wonder, Rawr, Stomp/Our Lil Monster
Misc Me; Journal Pack/Our Lil Monster

To one little Fairy by Evgenia Petzer

The colors of this collection are just beyond beautiful. I have also heat embossed three doilies from a new stamp set and then fussy cut them, and my bubble die-cuts helped me to make the cirlce elements stronger.

Some close ups:

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Fairies, Imagine/Enchanted Garden
Stamps: New Stitches
6*6 Paper Pad: Enchanted Garden
Jewel Flourishes: Frosting Jewels

The colors and the designs of this collection are very delicate, so I also used the feminine elements, that support this feeling (the doily border, the flowers that I cut from a ribbon that I bought in a regular fabric shop)
