Here my friends, are some excellent tips and tricks on stamps! Not to mention an adorable Misc Me project to go with it!

Stamp Tutorial with Bernii
Week_34_Misc_Me_by_Bernii_Miller_using_BoBunny_Modern_Misc_Collection.

Hello BoBunny fans!

Well happy Monday to you all and welcome to a new week where the Design Team will show case how to use our awesome BoBunny stamps.

I am the first to show you how I use the stamps in my Miscc Me spreads. So I decided I would show you a little sneak peak at how simple and easy it is to create your Misc Me layouts with stamps as the backbone to your spread. So lets take a look.

When I create my Misc Me spreads I always create an outline on all of my cards either with a pen free hand or with stamps. Throughout this spread I decided to  use the Stitches Stamp set and outline all of the cards with different stitches.

I just made sure that I used a scrap piece of paper to make sure that the stamp did not run off the edge of the card. As you can see in the photo below your scrap piece of paper should catch the run off from your stamp.

To help clean the BoBunny Stamp Block I find that using baby wipes with some and sanitizer works wonders. I also like to use the stamp blocks to help line up my alphabet stamps when I need to create words or titles for my Misc Me cards. Lining up the alphas against the faint lines works wonders and are there to help you and use to create text in a straight line.

As you can see below this came in very handy when I needed to create the "week 34" title.

Stamps are so useful and versatile and can really help you to create fast layouts with a uniform look. You could even play it up and introduce different ink colours if you wanted certain stamps to stand out more from others. I decided with this spread to just stick to the black ink as I didn't want to detract from the colourful cards.

Here are a few closeups .

Happy Birthday Misc Me by Lynn Shokoples

Good Morning Everyone! Today I'm sharing a few pages from my Misc Me binder featuring the Double Dot Cardstock. For me I usually use cardstock to back photos, but what else could you do? Well.. then the idea came to me. Why not make some embellishments? This is where my handy dandy cameo came in. I had so much fun playing with the cameo and the Journal Box set of cards. I have the cut files that I used for my pages on my blog where you can download them for free if you would like.

It was so easy to pick which Double Dot cardstock to use. There are colors that match each collection beautifully. All of the photos were taken in March which was my big birthday this year. So it was fun to document some of my favorite things and what happened during the month. I have an app on my phone called "collect" where it can make your photo into a Polaroid and you can journal right on the photo. I thought this would be a fun app for Misc Me.

For the little Days of the week tickets, I used the negative cut outs to decorate my calendar pocket. You can cut and trace embellishments too. Like arrows or chevrons.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. We would love to see your Misc Me pages, so I hope you share them with us on our Facebook page!! Have a wonderful day everyone!!

Country Life by Gabrielle Pollacco

Gabrielle here with you today to share a mixed media style layout I made.  I've been on the Bo Bunny design team for many years now and have gotten to play with so many lovely papers and embellishments.  So for this project I thought I would pull together lots fun fun Bo Bunny embellishments, flowers, wood accents, buttons, chipboard and trinkets that I've had leftover from a lot of the collections.  I began by choosing a favorite patterned paper (for me), from the Happy Tails collection as a nice simple backdrop for my page design.

Then I started gathering together lots and lots of embellishments from a variety of Bo Bunny collections.

DESIGNER TIP: The beauty of this project was that I could use bits and pieces from any collection irregardless of the color of the piece because I was covering them all with Gesso (to get an even and porous work surface) and then misting it all with some aqua and brown inks and then finally giving it all a coating of gold paint.  See the two blooms with the green pearl centers?  They were orange fabric blooms that Bo Bunny put out many many years ago.   Here I was able to make them work by painting them to match my page.

Here is another view of the many blooms, buttons, metal trinkets, wood accents....even lace that I used to create loads of the deep texture on the page design.

I also layered in loads of chipboard, above you can see pieces from the Modern Miss collection (flourishes, large numbers etc.) and again, it didn't matter what colors they were as I was using a mixed media painting technique that blended them all together.  Once the project was dry, I added a few jewelled accents and some brads that were in complementary colors.

I hope you enjoyed my mixed media page and hope that I've inspired you to use up those odds and ends and create your own mixed media piece!

Live Beautifully by Lisa Gregory

Lisa here today, sharing a layout that is sure to ring in summer. The coral colors in the Pincushion papers reminded me of  the beautiful hibiscus that grows at one of our homes. I love that BoBunny has the gorgeous Double dots collections that coordinate with the pattern paper collection papers. I love to create flowers with them! I even used a piece of the box my Design Team product came in. Upcycling can be beautiful!! I just primed the corrugated cardboard with white gesso and after it dried, sprayed it using my favorite mist sprays to match the papers.

I was able to achieve more dimension by layering using pop dots in between the layers. I cut pieces of the Kraft Burlap trim to tuck under some of the layers here and there.  It added beautiful texture to the layout. I learned this technique from my beautiful talented friend Gabrielle Pollacco. I also did a little machine sewing on the papers.

Sometimes a small title is all a layout needs.

I created some of the flowers with the papers I used in the layout. I mixed in some BoBunny blossoms for contrast. And the middles of the flowers were just pieces from the Kraft burlap trim that I just tucked in adhering with glue. The leaves were die cut and tucked under the flower clusters.
Thank you for joining us today, and hope you are inspired to create your own projects using BoBunny product.

The Day 25 Giveaway and 12 x 12 Misc Me

Attention Stampers! The day 25 giveaway was designed for you! It's a little bit of heaven all wrapped up in one giveaway!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Are you caught up for 2014? Today Keri will show you how easy it is to keep caught up on your photos for the year using our 12 x 12 Misc Me products!!

Easter 2014 by Keri Babbitt

Keeping caught-up with 2014 has been MUCH easier, thanks to BoBunny Misc Me products.
Even with an overly-full schedule, I was able to capture some Easter memories in this quick two-page spread in my 12x12 Misc Me binder.

Journaling cards and papers from Modern Miss and Our Lil' Monster coordinated perfectly for my desired color palette of gold, aqua, and navy.  I even cut a border sticker in half, by adhering it along the two rows of journaling cards, and cutting down the center with micro-tip scissors.  I love the finished look of the tiny scrolls above and below the row of photos.

Another quick tip for the 12x12 Misc Me, is to cut an existing 12x12" paper into four 6x6" squares.  The gradient effect with this particular paper looks great in the divided page protector.

I dressed up the yellow polka-dot cards with some chipboard hearts. A washi tape border over the top of the page protector unifies the design.

Spread Your Wings & Fly by Tracee Provis

With a great inspiration board to use for this project I was inspired by the soft pastel colours and the dreamy feel of the mood board, which lead me to creating this papermache Hot Air balloon that is a gift for my Granddaughter's 10th birthday and includes a secret photo pull out and surprises in the drawers.

The Primrose collection has some awesome embellishments and I pulled out a few from the Noteworthy pack to make a layered centre for the body of the balloon.

The Kraft Wood Shapes Elegant make a beautiful contrast to the pinks and browns of the Primrose Collection.

Fussy cutting is such fun and Bo Bunny always have lots of elements to enable this, here I cut lots of the butterflies from various papers in the collection and added them to the pole that holds the balloon stable. For a little added interest I attached some to wires so that they can float as if suspended.

The drawers old a birthday card and a Butterfly necklace gift, for the birthday girl.

Inside the crown there is an accordion album that pulls out to reveal the numbers 1 - 10 on the front and a picture of her in the corresponding age so she can see how she has grown.

I carefully cut the outer ring from one of the crocheted flowers to add some texture to both the top and bottom part of the Hot Air Balloon. I hot glued the star to a wooden button to make the pull handle for the mini album.

The Wedding Cake by Ulrika Wandler

I was truly inspired by the beautiful Pinterest inspiration picture! I decided to use the fabulous colors and bake me a cake! The BoBunny collection The Avenues matched perfectly.

I started off by making the canvas brown. Then I used decoupage glue to put a background paper in place.

Then I cut the different layers on the cake and used more decoupage glue to adhere them to the canvas.

I finished off by adding some lace borders, rhinestones and did some stamping.
