Lemonade Stand Scrapbook Pages

Welcome to a new week on the BoBunny blog! This week, we will be sharing projects created by our design team using the new Lemonade Stand collection. We start off the week with a trio of scrapbook pages that show how fun this collection is to use when scrapbooking your favorite summer time memories! I love working with such gorgeous colorful papers and embellishments! Maybe you can tell that from the fact that I used all these colors on this layout. I used one of the gorgeous papers in the collection to cut strips of striped papers and then added matching embellishments.

Doesn't this make you feel like eating ice cream and want to be out in the sun?!

Best Summer Ever by Juliana Michaels

The new Lemonade Stand collection by BoBunny is just perfect for scrapbooking your favorite summer time memories. It really was a great collection to help capture the happiness and joy that I know my nieces felt when we went to the Cleveland Zoo during their visit to see me last year.

I used a sticker from the Lemonade Stand Combo Sticker to create my title. Next, I hand stitched a row of buttons using white craft thread for added texture and fun.

The Lemonade Stand Block Party and Staycation papers have so many fun designs on them and they are perfect for fussy cutting. I did just that with these papers and I used several of them on my page as embellishments and to help tell the story behind the photo. The photo frame that is layered on top of my photo was one of these pieces. I simply cut away the interior of the frame before I added it to my page.

Fun Fun Fun! by Kaori Fujimoto

The Lemonade Stand collection is so colorful and full of energy. I used the Squeeze Me patterned paper, with its fun gradation of green and yellow, as my background paper. I then fussy cut some elements from the papers including a lemon, watermelon, bucket and windmill. I even added a fussy cut string of banners and lanterns. It is a fun collection to cut out and pop-up with dimensional adhesive.

Somewhere In Time Scrapbook Pages

We are truly amazed at the versatility of the Somewhere In Time collection. Today, some of our BoBunny Designers show even more themes that can be scrapbooked with this collection including heritage military photos, children being children and vacation photos to Paris!


A Moment in Time by Megan Gourlay

Somewhere in Time is one of those versatile collections that can be transformed into anything from soft feminine projects, to timeless masculine ones and that's what I wanted to share with you today.

This photo is my father-in-law taken during his military service training in the NZ Army Medical Corp - it was compulsory in NZ to join the services and complete military training from 1949 until 1972; such a controversial decision by parliament that it divided the country and the Labour Party at the time.

I've taken my background paper and grunged it up with distressing, misting, texture paste and ripping into it to give the feel of an old tattered piece of paper. Some of the cogs I have used from the Noteworthy pack I have cut in half to save for another project and some have been cut from the paper. The wooden cogs I have inked and 'aged' with bronze pastels.

You Don't Understand by Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell)

You know that the older we get, the less we understand in this life! The smartest - kids ... well, they're being quite sure about.

In this LO I used a lot of paint, gesso, ink pens (as usual). Nice that this paper allows me not to be afraid to use different media on it! Stamps made ​​it possible to soften the bold background pattern.

This spring I went to Paris with my boyfriend and we took some photos of each other in front of the Eiffel Tower. As soon as I saw the gorgeous Somewhere in Time collection I knew I wanted to print the photos in sepia and scrap them with these beautiful papers. These papers are definitely timelessly beautiful and perfect for any occassion!

I used a mixture of yellow, black and beige papers on this lay-out and choose mainly blue details to add a bit of contrast On the background I did lots of stamping with the brick stamps from the Large Stamps series.

I created two clusters of embellishments on my lay-out, which consist of Noteworthy die-cuts and some layered chipboard stickers. They are definitely my favourite embellishments. I think they add some beautiful dimension to every creation. To add even more dimension to your creations you can even layer several chipboard stickers on top of each other, like I did with the flowers and clock on this lay-out.

Just Breathe by Rhonda Van Ginkel

I am so thrilled to get to work with this beautiful new collection of ours, the colors, the patterns and designs are so lovely! I thought it would be fun to use the line with a wedding photo. 

The "Just Breathe" banner is an element of the Baby Bump Noteworthy collection and it worked perfectly for my getting ready wedding page. There are many fussy cut elements here as well as some stamping. I used the Autumn Song musical notes on my sentiment block and our new Stitches doily stamp and stitch stamps.

This was such a fun page to work on! I love how all of our collections really work together and make coordinating a page so much fun. On this page you see papers from Somewhere In Time and embellishments from Baby Bump, Autumn Song, Modern Miss, Pincushion and Zip-A-Dee Doodle.

How gorgeous is this new release?? I really love the colors and the vintage images. The wood grain paper and the darker, richer colors were perfect for a more masculine LO and matched this picture, with the trees in the background, really well. I also added some elements from the wooden embellies, as well as from the Zip-A-Dee Doodle and Pop Quiz collections. It's great that so many of the Bo Bunny collections work well for mixing and matching.

The Blue Denim Dahlia flowers are a perfect match for Somewhere In Time as well.

Somewhere in Time is simply timeless... The blues, the golds, and buttery beige colors are divine! There is no wondering what colors to put together because it is all done for you in this collection. The new Stitches Stamps are wonderful. I used one of them to outline the layout and another for the photo mat. I wanted to use the Somewhere in Time collection exclusively for this project. It didn't need any other color.

I die cut and created all of the flowers and leaves using various papers in the collection. For the middle of the flowers, I used Double Dots Vintage paper and further distressed it with brown ink.

I used some molding paste and a mask for the background and then sprayed it with mist spray in blue to match the papers. I also used some white acrylic paint to splash on. I added some jewels here and there for texture.

A Mothers' Love by Ulrika Wandler

I have made several layouts using the red-white-black papers and embellishments from Head Over Heels. But I also wanted to make something with the gorgeous pink colors together with black and white.
I rarely scrap in pink, maybe it's because I have two boys and I'm too old-fashioned?! ;-)

I tried an old "technique" that I haven't done in a while, to roll papers. It was kinda' fun!

A black and white photo goes perfectly together with the papers in Head Over Heels!

And look at this very cute pansy flower in pink that matches perfectly with the papers!

I made this layout using the lovely Head Over Heels series. I  lessened black slightly and took in many pinks and whites for a lovely girl's image. I gradated a pink ink and applied a white mist in places.

Mix and Match Scrapbook Pages 2

We continue our Mix and Match Week here on the BoBunny blog with more scrapbook pages. Today, Denise and Maryia really show you how to mix it up. Denise used five different collections and Maryia used nine. Now that is mixing and matching for sure!

Beauty by Denise van Deventer

I used a combination of Zip-A-Dee-Doodle, Pincushion, Head Over Heals,Woodland Winter and Fright Delight collections.Can you believe that?! I made sure that I incorporated black, as I needed to ground my photo on the various patterned papers.  The black also adds to the slightly grungy, yet shabby feel.

I made some flowers with die-cuts and instead of using leaves, I used some wool, which was rather thready. It added a different texture to the page, which I loved.

Since a large percentage of this layout was created with Pincushion, I thought it would be a nice touch to include some sewing, so I sewed my buttons to the page.

Mix and Match Scrapbook Pages

BoBunny always creates amazing collections and we all love how perfectly everything coordinates! It makes creating so quick and easy. However, did you know that many of their collections are perfect for mixing with other collections? Our theme these week on the blog is Mix and Match and we are going to show you how easy this is to do. Today, Tracee and Rhonda have each created a scrapbook pages with a mix of different BoBunny collections. The number of different collections that they have each mixed and matched together is seriously amazing! Can you name them all?

Everyday Heroes by Tracee Provis

I knew I wanted to create a masculine layout, so I pulled elements from five different collections. I used Pincushion, Woodland Winter, Zip Dee Doodle, Elf Magic and Kraft to show off this great photo of the Everyday Heroes, aka the men in my life, my Husband, my Son and my Son in-law.

I usually lean towards a light colour or white background, but this Handmade paper from the Pincushion collection has a slightly distressed look and made a great darker background that makes the other papers pop off the page.
In the Kraft collection Gift Bags you also get a sheet of 6 patterned circles I added one along the banner to create a journaling spot.

I used a variety of stickers from different collections. The days of the week are from the Christmas collection, Elf Magic and the others from Zip Dee Doodle. I used a black ink pad and dabbed over the chipboard alphabet from the Avenues collection, this left a small amount of the original colour to make a contrasting edge to the letters. The Kraft Gift Bag has a fun moustache design and I also used it to create a pocket for some hidden journaling.

Cupcake Love by Rhonda Van Ginkel

I used some Double Dot and pattern papers from The Avenues, Woodland Winter and Zip-A-Dee Doodle collections. The fun photos are from a cupcake date that I took our oldest on and as you can see, he more than enjoyed his special treat!

The chipboard arrows are from Woodland Winter, the alpha and love sticker is Zip-A-Dee Doodle.

The chipboard clouds are from Zip-A-Dee Doodle, the bird from The Avenues.  I used quite a bit of Noteworthy items and stickers here. The large Woodland Winter bracket sticker on the left is tucked under some Noteworthy and fussy cut Zip-A-Dee Doodle Collage paper.

I used a glassine bag to hold my ticket from Woodland Winter and also cut one of my little clouds from it.  You'll notice a flag layer of vellum under my flags to the right of the photo strip. I just love how all of the BoBunny collections coordinate so beautifully!!!
