Christmas Treasure Dimensional Cards

Hello crafty friends!
It's Angela with you to share some cards I made with the brand new Christmas Treasures collection by BoBunny. I know, maybe it's early to start working on Christmas project but this collection is totally amazing and I couldn't resist playing with it.

I love everything from Christmas Treasures, every single piece, from the papers to the die-cuts and the chipboards. It has a traditional style but with a modern twist thanks to its touch of light pink and of rose gold foil accents.

For my today cards I use the 6" x 8" paper pad and all the cards measure 5,5" x 4,25". I also made a matching envelop for each card. To create them, I used the DoubleDot cardstocks suggested for this collection. You can find the complete list of the coordinate DoubleDot items here, in the Christmas Treasure launch post.

My first card is horizontal. Here, as well as in the other cards, I first created a panel out of patterned paper slightly smaller than the card base. To be precise, the front panel measures 5" 3/8 x 4" 1/8.

I used a burgundy plaid paper for my base and in the center I placed a white doily. On top of it, I placed a die-cut with the sentiment Merry Christmas and I adhered it with foam tape.

Then, I embellished all around with other die-cuts and layered chipboards and a few DoubleDot Jewels in pink. Last, I glued the finished card on a vanilla cardstock folded in two and voilà, the first card is done.

For the envelop, I used wine vintage DoubleDot, with a faint gold damask on one side and gold polka dots on the other.

My second card is pretty similar to the first even if the cluster of the embellishments is arranged on the left side.

The card base is a gorgeous patterned paper in red with a design of poinsettias printed in rose gold foil.

I placed a white paper doily on the left of the card and I layered some Noteworthy pieces. I added red strass on the berries of the hollies and a gold twine to the rose gold bell. For the sentiment I used a long banner with written Merry Christmas and I placed it on top of the composition using foam adhesive.

The envelop of this second card is made out of a 12" sugar chevron DoubleDot cardstock. I chose a light color to match the stylish poinsettia and to make it pop.

The third card is a bit different from the previous ones. It is vertical and the main color of the whole card is light pink.

The vertical orientation is due to the die-cut piece I chose as main subject for the card, an old-style image of a cute baby musician.

Underneath the musician, I created a layer of flowers. Two of these flowers are die-cuts and two are paper blossoms that I enriched with a touch of pink glitter paste spread on the surface.

The sentiment Merry and Bright is from the layered chipboard pack of the collection. It has the traditional colors of Christmas, red and gold that match perfectly with the pinkish of the card.

Here, I also chose pink for the envelop. I went for Dusty Rose Damask cardstock so to keep consistent with the main color of the card.

Family Mini Album with Denise

Hello BoBunny Fans

It's Denise here today with a "Family" mini album, using the gorgeous Boulevard collection.

I recycled an advertisement booklet and used this for the base of this little album.

I used patterned papers, die-cuts, noteworthy pieces, stickers and stamps to give the layers to this album.

I also added a few die-cut blooms, which added interest without the bulk.

I will share another page with you, to just show you some of the details, but I hope that you will check out the video tutorial for details of all the pages created.

Darling "Kiss the Cook" Layout-with Emilia

Hello BoBunny Friends!

Emmy here today with a brand new layout to share! To create this page, I used the lovely Kiss the Cook collection from BoBunny's Autumn release and Pentart Fabric Paint in Mint. 

Here are some close ups with a few tips and tricks on how I did it:

To create the dimensional pattern, I mixed Pentart Fabric Paint-Mint with Structure Paste. You can add as much as you want from the fabric paint as it is really thick and it won't dilute the structure paste. I was aiming to match the greenish colour from the Kiss the Cook collection. 

  

To create the banner I fussy cut some of the flags from pattern paper, picked the rest from the sticker sheet and layered chipboard then embellished the complete banner with rhinestones. 

To decorate my page I used layered chipboard stickers, fussy cut images from the pattern paper and many die cuts.

Hello My Bo Bunny Friends,

It's my turn today on the Bo Bunny blog and I have had a lot of fun with the beautiful Kiss the Cook Collection.

I have created two Misc Me double layouts to show off the photos of my big boys' birthday party to tell the story of the day. I have photographed the layouts all together in one shot.

Here is the project:  Eat, Drink and Be Happy

The great part of  Misc Me products is it's quick for the time-poor scrapbooker.
I created these double layouts in just 1 hour!

Step 1. Place your photos in the pockets you want to use

Step 2. Pick your pocket cards making sure you will have space for journaling in a few pockets.

Step 3. Grab your Noteworthy, stickers and even your scraps of paper left over from layouts. I had only pieces of the Quilt paper left and used both sides when I layered the clusters. Then, just stick it all down!

Step 4. Journal, Journal, Journal!  I know my memory is spotty and so journaling assures that when we look back at these memories we will know what was so great about that day.

Designer tip: I used charcoal chalk ink to stamp my images because it gives a softer printed image. However, sometimes when using chalk ink with clear stamps, you are never quite sure whether you have inked the entire image, so I also place a piece of plain white paper under my perspex block, this helps to see any missed areas on the stamp.

 Designer Note: I used the stamps in several different ways on my lay-out. I stamped the written pattern and hexagons with embossing ink and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I also did some stamping with pink distress ink inbetween the embossed patterns. In the end I stamped the written pattern in black as well and cut this pattern out, to use it as a nice vintage touch on my lay-out.
