Winter Survival Gift Box featuring Carousel Christmas with Ginny

Hello there BoBunny Peeps!  Well I'm happy to say that the holiday season is upon us. Sadly that also means that winter is upon us. There is one way to combat the elements and that is with a winter survival box filled with essential supplies to get you through. For today's project I'm turning that idea into a present by tucking all the supplies into a handcrafted gift box using the Carousel Christmas paper collection. Another great thing about this project is I'm re-purposing a box from the recycling bin hooray!!!

I think this combination of pinks and greens is shabby...but updated and fresh.

I've piled on the fussy cut images to create a nice full arrangement. Adding the layers with spacers helps to keep it from looking busy.

Painted and glittered chipboard snowflakes really adds a lovely texture and great detail.

Santa's hat was glammed up with Sugar Glitter Paste...because glitter makes everything better : )

The sides and back are finished with the patterned papers.

Now it's time to fill up the box. I'm adding tissues, sunblock, hand sanitizer, and a hydrating lip balm. This is a great gift for teachers or local postal peeps. I've created survival packs for the woman who directs traffic at the school during drop off and pick up times and she really appreciated the supplies.   You could also fill the box with baked treats, a small gift, or gift card.

Okay that's all for me. Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G

Holiday Card Ideas! featuring Carousel Christmas with Denise

Hello Everyone!

It's Denise here today, to share some Christmas Cards using the fabulous Carousel Christmas collection. I made these two, oversized  festive cards.  On thing I love about this collection is the vintage feel, and the non-traditional color scheme.  Something about those two things, really speaks to me and brings out the creative in me!

I fussy cut some of the gorgeous elements and then layered them up, for pretty clustering. On the first card I added some twine on the cinnamon cluster, to give it some dimension.

For the second card, I made some little white flowers, with pearl centres. Again, I layered up die-cut pieces and fussy cut elements for the design. I used some Pearlescent on the leaf edges too, to give it a snowy effect.

A Festive Christmas Card Duo featuring Carousel Christmas with Emmy

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today with a brand new creation to share with you. And because it is almost Christmas I've prepared some more Christmas cards featuring the lovely Carousel Christmas collection.

And here are some close ups and a few tips and tricks of my steps to creating these cards.

I used a lot of different pattern papers to create the layers and the embellishments on my cards. I pierced and ruffled the edges of my base pattern paper layer and then I adhered it to the card base using mounting foam tape.

I die cut snowflakes, frames and the title for one of my cards using BoBunny dies and Double Dot cardstock.

As a final touch I added just a few little smears of Glitter Paste and different coloured rhinestones to give these cards a frosty effect..

Altered Holiday Gift Tag Mini Album Project featuring Carousel Christmas with Angela

Hi Everyone,

Angela here with you today with a brand new mini album made of tags and a soft mixed media touch.

Mixed Media Tag Mini Album by Angela Tombari made with BoBunny Carousel Christmas Collection

Sometimes I love messing and mixing with colors and pastes, it's always amazing to see what it comes out....

The tags of the mini are made using the Carousel Christmas Ephemera Pack and are held together by two rings on the top left side.

I started spreading a touch of color on the tags and then I used a few stencils with white gesso.

When everything was dried, I stamped randomly using the It Is Written BoBunny stamp and embossed them with embossing powder.

I fussy cut a few frames, which are part of Carousel Christmas collection, one for each tag and on the back I adhered a piece of vellum.

On each frame, I stamped a word and white embossed it.

As a finishing touch, to give a romantic feeling, I added different laces I had in my stash.

Christmas Tree Ornaments featuring Carousel Christmas - with Ayumi

Hello BoBunny friends!! It's Ayumi here.
Today I'll share with you Christmas Ornament using Carousel Christmas collection!

Christmas Ornament by Ayumi Iwashita.

I prepared a clear glass ornament for this project.   I wanted to use a concave piece that I can add decorations and small elements inside.  I am using a Stickable Stencil here as pictured.  This is ideal for use on a round surface.  This stencil is thin and very pliable and also has a moderate adhesive on the backside to keep it in place as I apply the glitter paste.

I then prepared to use some Glitter Paste.

I will use Glitter Paste as a pattern on the whole ornament.
It looks lovely when it dries, and truly catches the light! Sparkly!

I added a decoration such as a pine cone.

Since it alone is not enough, I cut out the pattern paper and decorated it, along with some other teeny elements to add interest

The snowman is very cute!

I Hope you enjoyed the pictures of the project. just for fun I have included a video as well!  I hope you enjoyed the project today!

Enjoy your happy day.

Thank you.

Shabby Chic Carousel Christmas Wall Hanging - with Ginny

Hey there BoBunny Peeps! Ginny here and today I'm sharing a very sweet and shabby chic inspired Christmas wall hanging using Carousel Christmas.

Jingle Bells Shabby Chic Christmas Wall Hanging Ginny Nemchak BoBunny Carousel Christmas

I just think Carousel Christmas is the dreamiest holiday collection.

Jingle Bells Shabby Chic Christmas Wall Hanging Ginny Nemchak BoBunny Carousel Christmas

I started this project thinking I wanted to create a shadow box styled ornament with painted mason jar lid...but before I knew it I had a wall hanging in front of me.

The lid is finished with a coat of Gesso then filled in with festive images and accented with faux snow for a frosty look.

Additional images are fussy cut and layered on with spacers for nice dimension. I've added a tinsel hanger and coordinating bows to hang.

The chipboard snowflakes are also finished with the Gesso then top coated with Glitter paste....because every shabby chic wall hanging needs pink sparkly snowflakes.

You can see the dimension I was able to get by adhering the elements with foam spacers between the layers. There's a bit of the die cut doily peeking out here and I think it adds texture as well as a visual break from the patterned papers.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : )
