Splashing Memories with Angela

Hi crafty friends,
It's Angela here sharing with you another summer memory. I made this layout using Escape to Paradise collection, that was perfect for this page and I used few embellishment from the same collection.  The lovely little face in the pic is my son Francesco having fun splashing everybody, that's why I chose 'Splashing' for my title. I used foam Alpha, so I've been able to bend a bit the letters, for a fun look.

I kept on building the page fussy cutting strips of waves from a paper called exactly Waves and I arranged them at the bottom of the page. I slightly overlapped them and adhered with foam adhesive. Then, I insert in between the waves a few jumping fishes.

In the center of the page I positioned the photo, creating a layer of paper, die-cuts and sticker and embellished around with sequins and jewels keeping a monochromatic feeling, using only shades of blue. Under the photo, I placed also a glassing bag that I filled in with other colored sequins.

And voilĂ . the page is done! I hope you enjoyed this summery layout and thanks so much for stopping by. I'll see you soon.

Escape To Paradise Summer Cards with Emmy

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today sharing two brand new cards I created using the wonderful Escape to Paradise collection from BoBunny.

For the first card I used 14 x 28 cm panel of white cardstock. I fold it two to create the card base.  Then I cut a 13,5 x 13.5 cm panel from pattern paper, a 12 x 12 cm panel from white cardstock and a 11,5 x 11.5 cm panel from a different pattern paper. I distressed the edges of the pattern paper panels and adhered all the layers as shown.

Then I fussy cut different embellishments from pattern paper and arranged them around the sentiment using mounting foam tape.

For the sentiment, I used a panel from a patterned paper. I added glitter paste to the letters to make them pop. As a final touch I added pearls.

To create the base for my second card, I used a 15 x 21 cm panel from white cardstock. I used slightly smaller panels from pattern paper for the different layers.

To create a 3D-effect I added a pre-cut suitcase image on top of the main one.

To decorate my card I added stickers, rhinestones and glossy accents.

I hope you enjoyed today's post! Until next time!

Beach Day Layout with Emmy

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today with my second post featuring the amazing Escape to Paradise collection from BoBunny.

To create my background I used Double Dot cardstock and pattern paper. I cut three stripes from the pattern paper, distressed its edges and adhered it to the cardstock. Then I added a dimensional white layer using texture paste and a stickable stencil. Once the paste has dried, I adhered the yellow stripes using mounting foam tape.

Then I used Vicki Boutin ink pads with clear stamps to add fun designs to my background.

To decorate my page I used various stickers, fussy cut images and die cut shapes.

To create my banner I used pre-cut shapes, stickers and pearls.

For my title I used a quote from the Noteworthy pack and Double Dot cardstock.

I hope you enjoyed today's post! Until next time!

Escape To Paradise Mini Album with Angela

Hello crafty friends!

It's Angela here and I'm so happy to show you my last mini album made with the summery collection Escape to Paradise.

I had a few old photos in my phone that I never used. A friend of mine sent me time ago and I really wanted to make something with them, even if the quality wasn't that good. So I went for a fun mini album, interactive and full of decorations.

The last thing I made, but the first one you see is the closure. I made it with a tag, part of the Noteworthy pack. I fussy cut the tag shape on the opposite side, I insert a ribbon and I roll it around the mini.

The cover is made with another tag part of the Noteworthy pack that I embellished with a light blue lace, machine stitched all around it.

The mini album has a square shape. The first page opens like a book.

Then, pulling the tab at the top of the page, it unfolds and open like an accordion page.
Essentially, it is made of pages of 8 inches wide and 12 inches high, scored at 4 inches and folded.

This mini is made of two pages of this size, glued together on one side.

All the photos are framed around the BoBunny doodle stamps inked with the Color Wheel Ink by Vicki Boutin, then hand stitched with the same colors.

That's all for today, I hope you enjoyed this mini album and you will give it a try. Don't forget your photos on the phone, give them a possibility ;P

Angela

Escape to Paradise Cards with Marilyn

Hello everyone!

Marilyn here to share with you three cards that I made with the beautiful Escape to Paradise collection. It was so fun to work with this collection the images are adorable, let's take a look...
My first card is 5 1/2" by 4 1/2" inches. I started cutting a rectangle from the flower paper then I cut a circle to create a window. I adhere this flower paper to my card base.

I stamped some flowers in a white cardstock using the Simply Flower stamp and the Color Wheel Inks by Vicki Boutin. I cut out the flowers with the scissors and adhered them to the card.

I adhered a few of the flowers with adhesive foam dots to create dimension. The adorable flamingo is from the Noteworthy package, I just cut it out  from one of the die cuts and the sentiment from one of the paper. Once I made the composition, I adhered all the pieces and for the final touch  I made some dots with the pearlescents in coral and blue colors.

My second card is fun and easy to do. It's the bigger of the three cards, it is 7 1/2" by 4 1/2" inches. I cut another circle to create a window in the blue paper when I can show the adorable fish that are from the sticker sheet.
I'm using the Noteworthy die cuts and the sticker to make this card, it's so easy to work with it. I added some dots with the pearlescent to give the effect of water bubbles.

Finally, I made the dotted lines with a black gel pen.

I love this paper with the pineapples, it reminds me of the delicious "Pina Colada" and the Caribbean beaches. It is a simple card with many layers that I highlighted them with the dotted lines. I cut a square 2 1/2" by 2 1/2" inches in a black cardstock and adhered to the center.

I used the Layered Chipboard in this card. I can't resist to use the adorable pineapple with the brilliant crown.

I cut and adhered two tiny flowers from one of the papers, added some dots with the pearlescents and a few sequins.

Here are the three cards, I hope they inspire you! Thanks you so much for stopping by...until next time!

Escape To Paradise Layout with Emmy

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today with a brand new layout to share with you! For this post I decided to work with BoBunny's Escape to Paradise collection - a personal favorite of mine. The bright color palette, the lovely images and the sea themed designs just scream 'summer' and since it is July I had no choice, but to print some pictures from our last summer vacation and to use them for my layout.

To create my background I used Double Dot cardstock and pattern paper. I distressed the edges of the pattern paper before adhering it to the cardstock and added a dimensional white layer using texture paste and a stickable stencil.

Once the paste has dried out, I used Vicki Boutin ink pads with clear stamps to add fun designs to my background.

I used stickers, fussy cut images and die cut shapes to decorate my page.

To create my title I used a sticker word and the alphabet punch from We R Memory Keepers.

As a final touch I added rhinestones to my design.

Until next time!
